Melaka _ Fray You know, a nickname. Mel instead of Melaka. The Slayer also works, though that's really just a title.
Sewn together...You're not a product of dark magic, are you? Some golem created to come after me and kill me? Because I'd really rather you let Rex cook you some food instead.

I know, I know. But I've been a target far too many times not to expect it. Just makin' sure, is all.
*joins Rex at the pantry to pull something out for Simon*
And things are going good. He's defending my honour against the porno-lady, which is sweet. Unnecessary, as I want to kill her myself, but that's why we work. We make a good team.

I don't know how I came to be.
*Simon says as he looks at a box filled with beer nuts and pretzels.
He picks a few up and places them in his pocket. Simon pulls out a dollar and drops it into the box*
I am sewn together and held by straps. but how did I come to be?

*Catches the rummaged cans and turns his hand into a can opener along with creating a few extra arms. He takes up to heating some water in a pot as well as looking around for some choice meat.*

Mm, judging from your general appearance, vengeful semblance, and lack of self-coherence, I'm guessing you're a Fetch. I'm guessing one of more than one person, too, hence the patchworky appearance.
Or maybe you're from Oz.
Rex, is there anything in there not freeze-dried? I mean, I realize that it's fresher for you than it would be in my time, but it's still millions of years old.
Besides, I'm not sure Fetches can actually eat...

I'm from a dystopian future, remember? Cows are so rare that no one can afford beef anymore. Hell, it's been forever since I've had real meat and not a meat-like product.
Sorry, Simon. Didn't mean to spark a whole existential crisis thing there, for you. 'Sides, not like I really understand necromancy. Maybe Fetches can eat. Or maybe you're something else.
