Shutting the door after the man, he stepped just loud enough for him to hear. Had to help the blind. He stopped and turned. "Can I get your coat?" he asked. "And what'll it be? I might as well be a drink factory, I have too much."

She assumed she was in a bedroom and crept over to the bed and threw herself on it "Hmmm...comfy" she laughed and got up to walk to the door in the center of the room which she thought was the way out, she gripped the handle and pulled the door open only to wince slightly when the bright light from the hallway hit her eyes, she walked out and crept down the hall, taking soft steps so her heels didn't make as much noise. She made her way to a small circular room in the hall that had a large marble table with a black vace sat upon it, she studied it for a minute, running her hands on the carvings...

Hearing his steps, I move so I don't hit him or anything else the sound echoed off of. "Thank you. I'll just have a scotch on the rocks." I continue on ward, guiding myself with the memory of the echo. "Do you own this entire building?" I ask in an attempt at conversation. I keep my spell senses upon the young vampiress in the upper stories.

He chuckled. "Just this hall and the upstairs, as well as the cellar. The rest is rented out to several older couples who tolerate me. If you'll follow me upstairs, we can go to the kitchen and I can get you that drink." he smiled and placed a hand on the man's shoulder, an attempt at guiding the man. He was still oblivious to the female vampire.

"You must have some coin in order to even maintain just this floor." I feel the hand on my shoulder and look to it. "Oh. Thank you. Is it so obvious that I'm blind? I thought that I hid that fairly well."

He started his usual sifting through the aura's of the people on the lower levels of the building, checking up on them as usual, beginning to walk toward the stairs, hand still on his shoulder. "Normally, I'd say it were clumsiness, but I have my ways of telling. Most percieve the way you move as just a slight, maybe a handicap in the leg that makes oyu a bit more clumsy than the next person, or natural clumsiness."

Rika walked down the hall and to a sprial staircase, she walked down it and found another hall Hot damn does it ever end?! she thought then she saw them at the end of the hall, the two men in the foyer, she smirked and ran behind a colum so she was still hidden from their sight...

I shug. "Honestly. I never noticed before." I look down a hall to complete my image of the floor, for future reference. I continue walking to the kitchen at a steeady pace. The young vampiress still out and about unnoticed by the tenants. I quirk a smile at the thought of a vampire sneaking up on me. "Have you ever seen something you shouldn't have with that sight of yours?"

He hesitated momentarily. "It's what I don't see that's a danger. Why?" he asked, stepping onto a step, tilting his head in curiousity. He made his way up toward the second floor of the apartments, which he owned. When he got to the door, he opened it and it opened into the kitchen.

"Curiousity killed the cat, but helped the dog." I say in response. I walk up the steps with no problem unaided. "How did you aquire the wealth for a place like this?"

"That's a sadly applicable statement in this city." he said under his breath at the cat/dog reference. He was almost finished with the building when he noticed a hollow soul in it. He narrowed his eyes and tilted his head as he stepped into the kitchen, leaving the door open about an inch. He didn't plan on staying there for a long amount of time, he never did.
"When you live a millenia, you get this." he said with a small chuckle, but less of one than his previous, now weary of any presence. Paranoia did that to a person.

"Depends on your definition of nice. Long life comes with slow death." he said a tad quietly, getting the scotch for the man and placing it on the counter. He just grabbed a can of Mountain Dew *holds up an advertising sign and smiles; winks; sips*, opening it. "It's nice when you don't have sixteen children you only know about, plus a family of a few hundred....thousand...." a visible shutter was made.

Rika laughed alittle at her childness, hiding behind colums and sneaking into houses, she did cartwheels all the way down the long hall and into the foyer, she snapped her head up towards the grand staircase when she smelled the sweet scent of blood, she hadn't fed in quite awhile so she followed the scent. down a hallway of doors and stopped infront of one with the numbers "156" written on a gold plaque, she knocked on the door and before the door opened she snapped her fingers, her hair went blonde and her skin recaptured some color into it, she smiled sweetly when a middle aged women answered the door, her brown hair put up in a bun with a few grey hairs here and there, gold jewelry was hung all over her like decorations on a christmas tree. "Hello dear, can I help you with something?" she asked sweetly looking Rika up and down "Um...yes actually, I was on my way up to my room and a package was by the door with your room number on it" she lied fakly and placed her hands behind her back and in a puff of smoke a package appeared, and she handed it to the women "Oh thank you honey, that was very sweet of you to bring it up" she smiled as she took the package "It was no problem really, but could I use your bathroom?" She asked smiling "Sure dear, down the hall to the left" she pointed down the hall of the large apartment, Rika walked in and the women shut the door, as soon as she did Rika turned around with a smirk on her face "Big mistake sweety" she laughed as she drove her fangs into the women's neck...

"Hm..." he said as he felt the woman's presence dwindle, as if leeched out. He hadn't known her well, but she was nice enough. A pity. He acted casually, however, sipping his drink.
