Nihilistic_Impact Timothy Zahn, Aaron Allston and Troy Denning are some of the best writers for Star Wars. Though personally Traitor by Matthew Stover is my favourite. Matthew Stover's Shatterpoint. Kar Vastor kicks a**. I need to get into some of the SW series, instead of reading the solo stuff.

Anonymooo The only thing I can say against that is that gun weaponry in Star Wars is laser-based, while in Star Trek, Michael Okuda's explained how phaser output and destructive capability is exponential compared to that of laser weaponry. (God, I love pseudo-science). But if you threw that out the window and completely levelled the playing field? NO ******** CONTEST. The Galactic Empire was born and bred for war (which makes it even more hilarious that teddy bears were able to ******** 'em up that much). The Federation is a nice, happy organization designed for exploration and first-contact. This is like pitting NASA against Nazi Germany. xd Edit: Go ahead, Kenshin. Sorry I didn't respond then, I didn't catch your post. 3nodding Too bad that star wars weapons can't even be shown to be lasers, they may say lasers but they move far too slow to be them. That and in comparison the blaster that Han used was more powerful then a hand phaser. But yeah, no contest. And those little bears were loosing untill Chewie captured the AT-ST, but then the rebels and bears did lose that battle because they were captured. Oh well, onward to other topics.

Zeon--much like the Confederacy and Nazi Germany, had better generals and more vicious fighters, and was undone by arrogance (and in some instances, crazy-a** environmental randomness). xd
And Nihil, in every technical manual and book, blasters are often referred to interchangeably as "lasers," again going for the whole pseudo-science route. And Type II hand phasers at full power are like little hand-held cannons (although the user would only get like two shots before they'd have to throw the soon-to-be-exploding phaser at their target in "oh s**t" desperation), to say nothing of Compression Phaser Rifles. Note: I'm not arguing, just showing the other side of the statement. xd (Dear GOD I'm a nerd. ******** awesome. xd )

Anonymooo I... I'm DUMBFOUNDED, Jack. I can't even come up with a smartass reply. xd Point of fact, while I'll make fun of Ertai, I won't say that he's bad at what he does (I just don't like planar psionics)--which is why I challenged him to a plain ol' boxing match, so I can see for myself exactly how good he is in a limited RPing environment. So relax, Jack. 3nodding I agree, I disaprove of planar psionics and magic in some cases. But when that's what everyone else uses sometime you just have to deal with it and either come up with a new way to defeat it or learn it your self. I chose to learn it but when I'm up against someone who uses I just ask for a melee fight and if they say no, tough snott. Fact of the matter is you don't congradulate him on how good he is either. . . Ever heard the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."? Well of course you have. I'm not trying to disprove you, or make you stop flamming him. Heck, he probably enjoys the attention. I was simply pointing out that it is rather immature and sensless because contrare to what you may think. If you were that good I bet your ego would be pretty high up there too. The way I typically deal with people with enormous ego's and challenge them to a melee fight. If they win, they can do whatever the ******** they want and I won't say anything because: He/She beat me. If I commented that would just make me a sore loser. In my opinion anyways... But no, your opinion is yours to keep so in all honesty. Go flame him with all your heart if you really think it will solve anything or make even the slightest difference other than [maby not] make some poor kid who has no life other than the internet, turn to suicide because he's not accepted in a world were everything was made to be for fun. I know I'd feel like s**t if I did that too someone. Like I said, it may not happen, and like me Ertai probably has a pretty good life. Then again I know people in this tournament that have almost/tried to commit suicide. I don't know about you, but there a lot of ******** dumbasses who think they are badasses for "owning" someone on the internet. Well all I have to say to them is go see a ******** shrink and deal with your insecurities because really you just make your self look like a damn fool. The moral: Shut the ******** up! If all your going to do is rag on someone for no reason at all. I'm done! ^_^

I'm honestly coinsidering making a profile for Kar Vastor, I bet he could do some damage in the tournament. Also: Principality of Zeon FTW.

Depending on the anime, Zeon was definetely done over by overconfidence.. except, in 08th MS Team's case. In that, they didn't just outnumber the Federation. In ratios, it was Federation 1, Zeon 5,000,000. They, however, focused too much on that high-tech orb 'weapon', thinking it an invincible weapon and focusing so much on it.. and lo and behold when it was taken down, they were in a shitty set of affairs defense-wise.
But yeah, Federation Mobile suits, though fewer in number, pwned face compared to Zeon's. Guncannons, Guntanks, Blue Destiny & White Dingo GM's..etc.

Niiiiiiiiice. whee And Jack, hoi, what'd I say about calming down? xd I don't congratulate him on how good he apparently is 'cause I have no idea how good he actually is. I've seen a few posts and a lot of s**t-talk, but I've never had the chance to experience his RP firsthand--thus, a BOXING MATCH. Should I punch his head off, I won't be impressed. If he KOs me, then I will be impressed. Until then, I'm not gonna throw myself at his feet in adulation, nor will I "flame" him, as you put it--throwing a few little jabs at somebody is hardly flaming them, and if it was a problem, he'd respond personally. As you said, he probably enjoys the attention, so more power to him for that.

I most often put it down to character shields. Just look at what Norris did in 08th MS Team, now he was a bad a**. Along with the Tri Stars and other Gouf pilot in the original series.
Char can go ******** himself, I never cared for him, just his suits.

They don't look like much - but you get a squad of the first one, they'd tear the s**t out of just about anyone in their way. And the other one.. is almost like a Berserker Mobile Suit; just one's all it takes, if conditions are met, to be a monster.
