Airelesanya Well, you really just have to check your money on your profile, then skim the Mart items and make sure you have enough to buy what you want. Just write out specifically what you're buying in your post, or if you want to be all 'browsed the shelves and bought some things' then either post here or PM to me what you did buy so I can add it to your profile and subtract the proper amount of money. ^^
okey-tay EDIT: hopefully this will be my last question: Do we have the trainer essentials like PokeDex, and PokeNAV items like that?

I gave/give everyone the option of starting with them if they want, or they can make one of their first newbie 'quests' to obtain one. So in reality, it's up to you. 3nodding

Well, Jae is heading to Petalburg and then back to his hometown of Littleroot to show Prof. Birch his Torchic... then after that I'm not sure what he's doing. I only planned so far. XD
I don't know about Gwen though... she's just an NPC Andy made up so that I wasn't stuck battling with myself... again rofl

She can stick around if anyone wants her to. Gwen, that is.
I don't know if this is my place, but I'll say it anyway... >.< Remember to be realistic with your travel times, Inu. You just up and left the battle to go back to Petalburg for healing; so you can't very well just show up again before the battle is over. Traveling between the woods and Petalburg itself would take a decent amount of time, and chances are you'd probably meet up with the two trainers again somewhere in between, long after the battle's finish. The RP world is much larger than the ones in-game, and it's not a thirty-second walk from destination to destination. Try to keep that in mind, eh?
Hope I wasn't out of line there... gonk

I realized by looking at my posts, its as if my character was FLASH.... but i will be more aware of my timing.... I realize that my character is still fairly new and my pokemon isnt exactly experienced....perhaps a run-in with a wild pokemon.....hmm.... anywayz, now i am rambling @_@ but i will be more careful with my postings!! but i was just asking what yall's characters were going to be doing afterwords.....because.... well.....it gets a little lonely traveling alone.....

Don't worry about it too much Inu... it took quite a bit of learning for some of us 'oldbies' to establish what we have now rules-wise, and you'll get the hang of traveling. You don't have to RP every step of the way, but being sure to note that time passes is important to remember. When Train first started, she was much like The Flash as well, but she's come around quite well since then (woot Train!).
There are a few Pokemon you can battle in the area that aren't Normal-types... like Wingull, Shroomish, Wurmple, Silcoon and Cascoon, Marill, Poochyena (but I wouldn't recommend it). You could easily have a youngster out there training with their new low-level Pokemon. Most of us didn't actually hook up with a traveling companion until our characters were a bit more established, and had between 3-4 Pokemon each. Remember that there's no rush; our RP runs at a nice leisurely pace. ^_^

Come to think of it I didn't travel with anybody for quite some time... then again I didn't become really active until quite a while after I joined...

Oh yeah! cool
Which region are you in, Inu? Oh, wait, nevermind. xD I'm guessing Hoenn, from the sound of the pokemon.
