My dear fallen angel, there is indeed one of us here who has a bad habit of failing to see what is right before them, but it isn't me. *She brushes his hair back from his face so he can look at her with both eyes, and smirks at him* This is what I am now. *she chuckles, realizing she's starting to fade* Ha! How ironic. Absolutely nothing . . .

*Luke appears, running into the Brink. He skids to a stop.*
*He's dressed in exercise clothes. He catches his breath and takes his headphones off. The music's stopped anyway. He's a little cheesed off. He was just getting into the zone.*

Luana appeared in the Brink appearing just as anyone would had they been neglected so long as she neglected herself. Many strands of hair had come loose from her ponytail, and she had been wearing the same clothes for three days. Along with her usual light dusting of chalk was greasy, broken glass, and even blood. Her eyes were red.
In her left hand she held a card depicting a soldier, a horse, and a tank, which was smeared with her own blood. Her right hand was still bleeding a little bit, though at the moment there was not enough for any to drip off.
"-hell is this?"

*Luke turns around at the noise. He flinches and frowns.*
Luana. *She looked like s**t. Was that blood? Luke lumbers over to her, looking her over to assess the situation.* s**t. Are you okay?

"I guess it depends on your definition of okay, Luke." she answered. Her voice still lacked amotion, but the anger, grief, and confusion were breaking loose from the little room in her mind that she had confined them to. She looked up at him. "But I don't think so."

*Luke didn't think so either. She smells like a**, and she looks like she's been through a train wreck.*
*Alright, he wasn't gonna sit around with his thumb up his a**. He pulls out a chair for her at one of the tables.* Here, take a seat.
*Luke looks her over. On his way back to the sink, he wonders how much of the blood is hers. He wets two rags, gets a dry one, and after some delbiration - grabs a bottle of Stolichnaya Vodka.*
*He lumbers back over and pulls a seat over next to her.*
*He grabs her shoulder so he can check her eyes* Jesus, Luana... What the hell happened to you?
*Luke wonders if the Seraphim's got her now too. He frowns. Christ, he hopes not.*

"That's what I've spent the last three days trying to figure out." She sat down.
"We launch the D2 flyer, and something happened. Andy..." In her mind's eye she could see him in his hospital bed, and all the blood when he crashed. "I blacked out, and they took him away. I stayed with him and Roger, and when I left... I shouldn'tof, but I did... My father told me, and I couldn't just..." She struggled with her tears, but they won out. Her shoulders shook as the streamed down her face again.
She kept enough control over her voice at least to keep going. "I couldn't sleep, so I went back to the flyer. I had to know... I don't remember how long..." She took a deep breath and sniffed. "I found this," she said, holding up the card. She had not bothered to read the other side, but in bright red letters was printed the word RISK.

*Luke eyes Luana warily. She's gone ********' nuts.*
*Not taking his eyes off Luana, he takes the card. He looks down, to see "RISK" printed. Blood is smeared on the card.*
Okay...
I know you're messed up right now. You just gotta tell me something, okay? Did the Seraphim do this to you?

*Luke's not sure why - but knowing the Seraphim wasn't a part of it calmed him down.*
*Luke puts the card down on the table. He takes her hand to examine it. It's got a nasty cut across it.*
