I... I'm DUMBFOUNDED, Jack. I can't even come up with a smartass reply. xd
Point of fact, while I'll make fun of Ertai, I won't say that he's bad at what he does (I just don't like planar psionics)--which is why I challenged him to a plain ol' boxing match, so I can see for myself exactly how good he is in a limited RPing environment. So relax, Jack. 3nodding

A broken game, but that's a different topic.
Boba Fett was cool, back before a lot of s**t happened with the Clone Wars. Some people just have no concept of what kinds of numbers are needed for a galaxy spanning conflict.

Boba Fett will always be cool in my heart.

Holyshit, a Star Wars conversation.
I've only read like 6-9 of the books. Not exactly sure. Read the Thrawn Triliogy and the one after that by Timothy Zahn, along with some of the newer stuff, but then I had to go and do some reading for school and then I lost track of which book I was on...
So, I've pretty much lost interest.
Those books were good, though.

I was a warsie for about six years. And then I grew up a bit and moved on to wondering just how powerful the Empire was.

Even die hard star wars fans can say the new jedi order books suxxor. I can't remember which one I read, I can look downstairs. Ohp it was the plague one-I didn't really like it.
Too much children, not enough real Jedi.

Hey now, Traitor rocked and it was part of the NJO. The rest of it pretty much did suck, there were so few in the series worth reading.

The Thrawn trilogy kicked a**--and Zahn just recently released a book dealing with how Thrawn ended up waaaaaay out on the edges of known space. It seemed interesting, but I haven't picked it up.
Personally, even though it's a dying franchise, I gotta say that I'm always gonna be more of a Star Trek fan.

Blah, I started to hate the children before I stopped reading.
And all the original characters were losing my interest. I was rooting for the Empire the whole time. Er, but who wasn't?

I was; and Moo, just as long as you can accept that the Federation would be completely trounced by the Empire in an all out war you can hold your view.

Yeah, there's 2 other books that come out like 10-15 years AFTER the Thrawn Trilogy... Did you read it? It's pretty good. Want me to attempt to summarize it?

Jack_Masters I think I speak for my self when I say that Ertai's ego is only as big as he is good and from what I've seen so far looks to me that you kids are all jealous... *shrug* Otherwise I would see no point in pointlessly [no pun intended] flamming Ertai for being good. Maby you think that if you can own him in OOC it will make up for the pwnage he gives you in IC. It all sounds rather immature to me, and I would comment on Ertai's ego however I haven't seen anything from him that exceeds what I've seen from him in the colloseum. As I've stated before, I don't dislike Ertai, nor do I flame him since that seems to go nowhere and it is rather pointless. He's not that bad in my eyes. His arrogance annoys me, but he is indeed good in what he does. *Shrugs* I personally think he is a really good roleplayer. He may be arrogant, but I am able to look past that. I'd actually really like to fight him sometime..>_>

Nihilistic_Impact I was; and Moo, just as long as you can accept that the Federation would be completely trounced by the Empire in an all out war you can hold your view. The only thing I can say against that is that gun weaponry in Star Wars is laser-based, while in Star Trek, Michael Okuda's explained how phaser output and destructive capability is exponential compared to that of laser weaponry. (God, I love pseudo-science). But if you threw that out the window and completely levelled the playing field? NO ******** CONTEST. The Galactic Empire was born and bred for war (which makes it even more hilarious that teddy bears were able to ******** 'em up that much). The Federation is a nice, happy organization designed for exploration and first-contact. This is like pitting NASA against Nazi Germany. xd Edit: Go ahead, Kenshin. Sorry I didn't respond then, I didn't catch your post. 3nodding

Phah. There are people in this tournament I highly dislike, to be blunt; Ertai's not one of them. His "ego" can be a bit.. much, at times, but that's just part of his character - and, I suppose, an intimidation tactic to wein out people whom'd actually crumble to it from those whom'd give him a nice roleplay match. He's a good roleplayer. And I'll admit, I like his showboating - which, a lot of his posts are, writing-wise. =P
And ******** THAT shitty Federation and Empire; everyone knows, the real deal's between the Federation and Zeon.
