Calixti I got the job! A second job or state assistance is a necessity if I'm going to make rent, pay bills, AND buy groceries with any regularity, but the biggest worry (rent, and the water, electricity, and heat included in it) is somewhat alleviated. Yay! I had a feeling you'd get it. 4laugh Congrats!

This round of dance lessons is going to be hard -- switching from a loose and bouncy Raks Assaya in class, to my fusion-driven solo is going to be a challenge.

For the life of me I can never remember BOTA as anything other than Brotherhood of Tarot Assholes.

Illiezeulette I have fallen completely in love with polyamory. Have you had a look at The Ethical Slut yet?

Depends on the person, I suppose. I fully admit to being unable to deal with it as a personal concept; I'm a naturally jealous person despite my religious leaning and don't like the idea of sharing/being shared. Top that off with the fact I'm effectively only turned on mentally and physically by my husband, and there's a recipe for someone who couldn't hack it in a polyamorous relationship. If you can do it, more power to ya. But it ain't gonna work for me. xd

ShadowCatSoul Illiezeulette I have fallen completely in love with polyamory. What's that? Many loves. A person who is polyamorous can be romantically committed to more than one person. I'm not sure if an open relationship in which one person is committed romantically to another person but is sexually involved with multiple ones (not cheating) counts.

Aino Ailill I'm not sure if an open relationship in which one person is committed romantically to another person but is sexually involved with multiple ones (not cheating) counts. I've seen it debated- mostly by people who have multiple partners they aren't in love with. ~shrugs~ I think you almost have to set up a scale, much like you do when you address sexual stimulation in terms of gender and sex. The person that is 100% Gay/Straight etc is the exception usually, not the rule- even if their actions only demonstrate one leaning.

TeaDidikai Illiezeulette I have fallen completely in love with polyamory. Have you had a look at The Ethical Slut yet? Not yet! I've been strongly recommended to read it, and a second opinion said it was a no-go. Thoughts? (Have we discussed this before?)

TeaDidikai For the life of me I can never remember BOTA as anything other than Brotherhood of Tarot Assholes. I think they teach the Qabbalah & tarot class down the street from school. I've been meaning to get around to it. Apparently we learn about tarot while coloring in the outlines of each card.
