One dark brow rose when she asked what he meant. His own attire wasn't exactly meant for running around in the woods but it was more practical that her long dress. She could easily get caught on something in that thing. And when she said she could handle herself, Lucas couldn't help but grin a little. "Is that so? Could you even fend off one of the largest wolves you've ever seen? How about two...or even four of them?" This female didn't look like a fighter to him. She looked too...delicate, too feminine.

"I could defend myself against a whole pack of wolves if need be", she said with grimace. Kirsten held the dirk tightly as she began to think maybe this stranger meant her some form of harm. Kirsten cackled wickedly for a moment before offering the man a wink. After a few brief seconds a orange glittery aura surround the woman. After the glow had faded Kirsten had disappeared. "Boo!", she said to the man as she stood behind him, a hand on her hip.

Lucas watched her expression as she spoke, wondering exactly what sort of tricks she held up her sleeves. His grin faded. He knew he should never have revealed himself to her. Before he could say anything more, he watched her disappear, his body becoming tense again. A small growl formed at the bottom of his throat and as soon as he felt her presence again, Lucas whirled around, his fingers instantly wrapping around her small neck. His eyes glowed brightly as he clinched his teeth in order to restrain himself. "To move behind a stranger is a dangerous thing to do, female," he warned before letting her neck go. He had no intention to harm her and now he had no intention on sticking around either. Eyes dimming, he spoke again, his voice a bit frostier than before. "I'll let you return to whatever you were doing before then." And with that, he turned away from her, fulling intending to just walk away and never look back at her.

"It's as equally dangerous going around assuming you know everything", she huffed trying not to pay much mind to the pain he had inflicted on her. Kirsten twirled the dirk in her hands, tucking it away after a few moments. "You're lucky I have more manners than to just go around putting my hands on strangers", she insisted still not pleased with what had transpired.

Lucas stopped for a moment, his teeth clinched again. It was no wonder that he never hung out with females as much as his his closest brother. He could flirt the day away while Lucas seemed to only argue with them. "I never said that I know everything but that one bit of information happens to be fact, at least with men like me." He turned some to look back at her, his eyes narrowed a bit. He was really too tired for this but she seemed to insist going on. "If I were a lesser man, you wouldn't still be standing there. As for my hands being on you, I have enough manners to keep them away from your more intimate areas. I've seen what some men will do to females like you..." This time his fingers curled into a fist, his pale knuckles turning stark white. But his simmering anger wasn't directed at her but rather at the images his words brought up. If he ever did manage to find a female for himself, he'd never let another man touch her again.

Kirsten frowned, not pleased with what things were coming out of Lucas' mouth. It seemed Kirsten never really did get along with anyone. The woman was always having to fight or argue with someone for some reason or another, it saddened her. "Darling, I'm afraid you have it all terribly confused. You're lucky I don't kill you at this very moment. I promise you it would take little to no effort." Kirsten's voice seem to grow more fierce as she spoke. An orange glow surrounded Kirsten once more, but this time it didn't seem as glittery as before. Like before Kirsten had disappeared from sight. Kirsten hadn't teleported this time, instead she decided that invisibilty would be her best bet to find out just what this man was about.

When the female bristled and threatened him with death, Lucas couldn't help but laugh though it was filled with coldness rather than amusement. He would have liked to see her try. The struggle between them would at least provide him with a bit of entertainment though he had no desire to fight to the death. "If you wish to try, female, feel free." His words, though, were spoken to the air since she had disappeared again. Lucas could still sniff out her scent but obviously couldn't see her.

Lucas let out a small snort and shook his head. He didn't want to play with disappearing females. He still needed to round up his brothers and get out of this human-filled place. So he turned around again and began to move away, all the while grumbling under his breath. Figuring he could probably find his brothers more easily in his other form, he moved towards some dense brush for his transformation. He didn't think the female would stick around for long so he let the transformation happen, his pale body glowing for a brief moment before he shifted into a very unnaturally large dark blue wolf, his clothes melding into his body before hand so that he wouldn't shred them.

Kirsten laughed hysterically for a moment after watching the man transform. "No wonder you're so bitter", she said still invisible. Kirsten ran around the woods, following the man. The woman didn't want Lucas to know where she was so she moved frequently when she spoke so to throw him off of her location. "You shouldn't wish death on yourself to prematurely", she insisted. Kirsten was amazed by his wolven size, but she didn't let such things intimidate her. Kirsten pet the wolf, but not in a harsh manner but rather gently. Realizing that this probably wasn't a good idea after she did it, she teleported into a tree above the man and sighed thinking on whether to leave him alone.

His ears pricked up when hearing the female's voice again. Why was she following him? I don't wish death upon myself, female, he sent out with his mind since he wasn't able to speak in his wolf form. Though, the chance of her hearing him like that was slim since she wasn't one of his kind nor his mate though he didn't have a mate just yet. I just welcome the fight. If I were to die then that is what the Fates have decided for me, he continued, his large paws still carrying him through the woods. When he slowed for a moment, he felt her small hand against his back, the touch too gentle to be an attack. But he still growled harshly and turned to look around the area. Why are you following me anyway? Wish to kill me that bad?

Kirsten smiled finally making herself visible. Jumping down from a rather high branch she stood as graceful as always beside the tree she had been in. "I don't want to kill you silly. If I wanted to kill you, I already would have", she said with a firm nod. Kirsten pulled out a plant from her pouch and smiled to the wolf. "You're hurt you know", she said pointing to a wound she had noticed. "Let me help you", she said showing the plant to him.

((I wonder if he'll figure out shes not a regular mortal xD))

His head snapped up when she finally reappeared, his eyes watching her carefully. By the way she responded, it seemed that he was able to hear him just fine. Of course, he still doubted that she could kill him so easily. No one had succeeded in doing so so far. Lucas watched her carefully as she jumped down and moved closer towards him. His head, when lifted, was level with her own but for now, he kept it down slightly, ready to attack if she provoked him. When she mentioned that he was hurt, his eyes narrowed a little. It was most likely a recent wound that had reopened when he took off running. And why do you want to help me now? How do I know you're plant isn't poisonous?, he asked, obviously not trusting her.

(( xd He's never really been around anyone that wasn't his kind or human so he thinks he's pretty high up on the food chain, so to speak. He has a hard time believing anyone could be better than him. He'll learn. X3))

Kirsten rolled her eyes with a giggle. "I told you, if I wanted to kill you I would have already", she said. Kirsten took the small yellow petals in her hand and crushed it into small pieces. Making sure the wolf was paying attention, she lifted part of her long dress to expose a rather large gash. "This is the whole reason I was here in the first place", she said. Kirsten sprinkled the herb over her cut. "Satisfied now?", she asked moving closer to the wolf.

((Kirsten is rather conceited, so, lol. I just realized I switched over random to the wrong text color. gonk ))

Lucas remained alert but continued to watch her carefully. When she revealed her own large cut, he felt his body tense, his mind now wondering where she got it from. If she had been attacked out in the woods, he would have said 'I told you so'. Don't get soft now... You don't care how she got it, he thought to himself, carefully concealing those words from her mind. Satisfied? Not exactly... For all I know, you're immune to poisons, he retorted with a small snort.

((Lucas is so stubborn... D: ))

"Fine, but last I checked licking a wound didn't stop an infection", she said. Kirsten sighed pulling a small book from her pouch. Kirsten flipped through the small leather bound book to a page that showed a picture and some information. "See? This is called Oregon Grape, it's an herb that helps fight off infection." Kirsten held the plant close to the picture, they seem to look almost identical. "If you don't want the help though, that's fine. I'll just leave, you seem to desperate to be rid of me anyway", she said almost disappointed.

When she held out the small book for him to look at, he quickly read up on the plant. Okay, so it wasn't poisonous. Lucas looked back up at her, still wary of her motives. Alright... Fine, you may apply your plant but any tricks will be met with an attack..., he grumbled into her mind. He could almost hear one of his brothers laughing at him now. Lucas never was very good with women. Would you rather I change forms so you don't have to work around my fur?, he asked while forcing his body to loosen up a bit. Also, I don't lick... I bathe in water like everyone else.
