They were a bit large, because of the darkness of the inside of the place. His eyes were glazed over, however, and he had a rather blank look on his face as he looked back at her.

Rei frowned and gently pinched his check "Bakura say somthing." she told him.

Bakura blinked and slowly looked towards her. "Rei." he said in a low voice.

Rei smiled softy then held up three fingers "How many fingers am I holding up?" she asked wanting to make sure this seizure diffrent effect his brain.

"Seventeen." Bakura snapped, getting a little irritated. "Just how many fingers do you think you're holding up?" He was thirsty, and looked around to see if he could locate Akila's little flask of water.

Rei sighed "Well you seem perfectly normal...." rei let out a sigh.She stood up again and started to walk away still thinking he dident rember her.

"No, you're not going to leave." Bakura said slowly. Her medical skills made her useful, and knowing members of villages like this, her foreign looks would make her an outcast no matter where she went. Running a hand through his own white hair, he knew how it must be like.

Rei turned and sighed.She wasent going to bother to ask why and just went over and sat beside him.

Bakura held out his hand, relaxing against the ground. "Do I know you?" He asked softly, studying her closely. He had seen her before, right? Or maybe it was just his mind playing a trick on him.

Bakura scowled slightly as he thought about this. "If I know you, then you must know me." He said, trying to make sense of this. "Tell me something about myself." There was obvious information that everybody knew about, like how he was going after the pharaoh-- though he had kept his reasons why fairly quiet-- and his lust for the Millennium Items.

Bakura's eyes widened. Then, slowly, they narrowed and his lips were pulled back in a snarl. He growled, and lunged for Rei, pinning her to the ground. "Filthy scum!" He hissed, "The pharaoh sent you. You're a spy for him!"

Rei yelped "Hell no!I wouldent work for that a*****e if my life depended on it!I know all this cause you told me stupid!" she wasent struggling at all as she looked up at him.

"Bakura!" Akila put a hand on his shoulder. "She just helped you. Why would she if she was working for the pharaoh?" "Because the b*****d wants to kill me himself, I'd say." Bakura growled, glaring down at her. He hesitated for a moment, then put a hand to the back of Rei's head and tilted it up. He bent down and kissed her savagely. Akila squeaked and let go of him.
