Hiru decided on changing swimming techniques as he powered forward through the current. He went from the breaststroke to the butterfly, and then back for nearly 30 meters before letting himself for a short break. He though must've have looked pretty goofy from the academy, just swimming back and forth like this. He didn't mind though, he was having way too much fun to care for things like that for the moment.
Hiru was kind of dissapointed that the training was nearing it's end, but his body sure wasn't. Even though he might not have realized it at first, the strength required to beat this current was actually enormous and he had been in the water for quite a while. Not really caring about this, for the moment at least, he gave another effort upstream.

Hiru had finally finished this special training. He climbed on to the shore, next to "Cassie-sensei" and sat sat down for a while. He tried to see what was going on inside, if the others were finished with the book.
"That was really fun training Cassie-sensei, hope there will be more like this in the future!", he told her, smiling.
Hiru lied down for a while, thinking he had earned a little rest.

"So what do I need to do to learn how to do water clones?" Kiketsu stated again. He may have said it too softly before, but his voice was audible this time. He kept his eyes on the watery replica of his pirate like teacher. A technique like that would be good to learn. He could also use that as a way of training with enough control over a clone. His mouth kept volleying off questions as his eyes continued to stare at the clone that was making sure the shark boy stayed out of trouble.
"What are the seals to perform it? And what else must I do to learn it?" he asked again this time his deadpan face returning to the real teacher.

The real Cassie turned back to Kiketsu. It seemed that he had finished too. He was staring out at Hiru, most probably at his antics.. Cassie couldn't keep an amused smile off her face.
"Well..." she dragged out the syllable as she tried to think of the best way to explain to him. "Water clones are a step up from the normal clones. It's a genin level jutsu, and will be taught to you by your genin sensei. So, you need to know Bunshin no jutsu, and have good enough chakra control, before you learn that jutsu. But the seals are pretty basic. It's just Bunshin no jutsu, but instead of creating the image with your chakra you use water instead. The seal for all bunshin jutsu is the tiger seal," she informed him. "Is there anything else you want to know, or would you rather be off training like Hiru while the rest finish?" she asked. "You can do something physical like him... or, you can look through the books here. We have books on pretty much everything."

"That's pretty good, Hiru," Cassie said with a smile. "Yes.. you've earned yourself a good rest." She had noticed that he seemed to be pretty good at swimming for his age. She guessed it came with the clan...
"And of course there will, Hiru-kun," she told him. "Like I said, most of the lessons after this introductory one will be physical."

Hiru noticed that there was movement inside, he guessed someone else must have been finished with his reading exercise. Hiru was pretty excited, that probably meant that they would soon get the chance to learn something new.
"Cassie-sensei, I heard mean-sensei tell the more advanced kids they were going to learn a jutsu... do you think we could too?", Hiru asked.

[It's ok. I made the second post right after I edited the post. It was a few pages after so I thought it would be missed.]
The shark boy had hit the nail in what Kiketsu was beating around to. He didn't mind reading and learning. If the teacher wanted him to he would do it. Still perhaps with a bit of coaxing from two students, they could learn a jutsu before the rest of the class.
"Yes sensei. Teach us the bunshin jutsu while we wait." he asked the teacher looking between her and the shark child. He would rather work alone and gain the clone ability by himself, before any of the students. Still, the gilled boy could be useful in both of them attaining a jutsu so quickly.

The clone of Cassie turned to Hiru and almost attempted to defend Sensei from his casual accusations. Almost, because she didn't know him, actually... so she didn't.
"Well..." she said, clearly hesitating, but back at the academy the real Cassie was being asked the same question. Cassie was not particularly known for her strength of will and broke down easily.
"All right," she sighed. "I was planning on having everyone do this together, but I guess I can teach you both it now while the rest read. Come on up Hiru." And with that, Cassie stopped concentrating on the clone, and it disappeared into a puddle of water.
Once Hiru was back, she beckoned for both boys to gather around her as she made a random hand seal. At once her orchid coloured chakra began to gather about her fingers.
"That's solid chakra," she said. "It's the exercise that I was going to teach you all last today. You can mould it, like so," a bit of concentration, and suddenly they were looking at a small model of a ship - a crude one, but a ship nonetheless, "and a ninja can never have enough practice at this. It makes your chakra control better and doesn't hurt your artistic ability either," Cassie chuckled.
"Ahem. Anyway," she continued, "you make a bunshin like so." She focused out enough chakra until there was enough to make a replica of her, and did so. It would be a little weird to see a human-sized glob of chakra gradually change until it resembled Cassie, earrings and sailor scarf and all. "Of course, you do it a lot quicker," Cassie said with a grin. "But, we're getting ahead of ourselves here. Before you make a bunshin, a big one, I want you to practice producing chakra and moulding it. The seal for the Bunshin no Jutsu is the Tiger seal. Go ahead and try it!" As if to show them by example, the chakra ship twisted and turned internally before turning into a chakra rose, and then into a chakra snail.
"It's pretty good fun once you're used to it," Cassie confessed. "It's pretty hard the first couple of times, but as they say practice makes perfect."

Midori began to read the next book which contained important information on learning the different hand seals. She was already getting the hang of it and before she knew it she was well into reading this fine and dandy book with lovely illustrations and explanations inside to make learning fun.

Midori began to wrap up the first chapter but things started to become hard to understand. This was normal after all with her and books but eventually she would get the hang of it.

Midori seemed to be stuck at the end of the first chapter and it was annoying. This irritated her very much and she couldn't help but to continue to re-read over and over again.

After re-reading the chapter several times Midori came to the end of it and began the second chapter. She was glad she had the first one finally done and was moving on to the second. "Ten more to go. "Midori thought as she read on.

Midori once more was getting stuck on one particular part of the book. She was getting used to it and it wasn't bothering her as much as it usually did which was just great for her. She would get this book done and soon too.
