Aki lightly smacks him with her free hand, but grins anyway. It's too bad we had to leave though... I was really getting... into the moment," she says, winking at Blank.

"Maybe, if you play your cards right," Aki replies with a wink.
When they get to the bottom, she follows Blank out the front and chuckles as he marvels at the lack of security.
"I guess after you moved away they had nothing to worry about," she says, smirking at him.

"Mmmm...." Aki says in reply, gazing out over the ocean.
She really didn't want to leave this peaceful place, but she also felt like Balamb was her true home. As much as she loved Trabia, those days were behind her. And as much as she loved Dollet, she knew in her heart it was not the time to settle somewhere quiet-yet. She was still young and loved the thrill of battle, so Balamb was definitely the best place for her until she was ready to calm her life out a bit. Plus as much work, annoyance, and stress as Balamb tended to cause her, she loved teaching and she loved watching the students blossom into amazing and skilled fighters. She felt a real sense of pride each time a student accomplished something, and she wasn't willing to give that up yet.
"....Yeah, I'm ready to go home too," she adds, smiling warmly up at Blank.
That was another reason she loved Balamb so much; it was where she had fallen in love with the man she loved more than anything in the world.

As they walk, Aki's gaze once again falls to the playing children, causing a lopsided smile to appear on her face, and she mentally kicks herself for being so silly.
She lets out a quiet sigh as Blank questions her, happy to put her mind elsewhere.
"I adore them! I think they are fantastic, and they are so obviously in love, it's really inspiring. I was so afraid they wouldn't like me," Aki says, smirking back at him.

Aki begins to giggle at the thought of a younger Blank walking in on his parents making out. She grins at him as he shudders, and shakes her head slightly.
"Well you can't deny that we'd put our children through the same thing," Aki says with another giggle.
Just as soon as the words leave her lips however, she realizes what she had just said and her cheeks start to turn pink. She bites her lower lip and curses herself for having gotten so distracted by the cute kids and the thought of having one of her own someday. She had DEFINITELY not meant to suggest having children to Blank, after all, they weren't even married.
"Uh... I mean... um... what I m-meant to say... I think it's cute how they are together," she says, mentally cursing again at her horrible attempt to change the subject.

Aki feels her body go hot, hardly able to believe Blank didn't get uncomfortable at the thought of children. In fact he seemed to be indicating to her that he thought about it too, which only made her blush deepen.
She swallows hard, trying to regain her composure, then sneaks a quick glance at her lover's smiling face. She can't help but smile in return before quickly averting her gaze, still slightly embarrassed that she let her thoughts slip out. She really seemed to be embarrassing herself a lot today...
"Well... they would definitely have red hair..." she says, a giggle escaping her lips.

"Yeah? I have the same eyes as my mother," Aki says happily, slowly forgetting how embarrassed she was to have brought the topic up so suddenly and by accident.
She knew the subject was probably a little uncomfortable for both of them, considering it was very likely far too soon to be discussing children, but she liked the idea that Blank was actually talking about it, and she got the impression that he definitely wanted children too, someday.
She looks up at her lover finally, her cheeks still pink, and grins at him warmly.
"Though I do like your eyes," she says with another nervous giggle.
