Some pictures of my new fuzzy little pal who has a face only a mother could love, Candy Corn!
His super duper nifty new home! Last one in the store too. It was a sign that this union was just meant to be.
Candy Corn up close and just hanging out.
He likes his plastic tree already.
Fear him bitches, for one day he shall cause a hurricane in Tokyo of the likes that none have ever or will ever see again with a mere flap of his mighty wings.

You mean he's not going to take over a little flying robot that looks like a golden egg and then emerge to devour time and space?
That's a relief.
He's a cute little fella.

Yes, it turns out the little fella is the common banded Woolly Bear and will one day in the Spring emerge from his cocoon as an Isabella Tiger Moth.
AKA Tiger Mothra. whee

Our trucks at UPS are labeled with numbers and letters. For example, my three trucks are 22B, 22A and 21A. Each package has a sticker that says what truck it goes to.
Today Jak got a new truck and was concerned about it's number being too similar to another truck's number, so he had them change it from 10C to ZOD. And tomorrow he gets to rename all of his trucks. So he's thinking of making his other trucks RYU, DOC and OCK.
Do you guys have any suggestions? They have to be three letters, but they can be whatever he chooses (keeping it appropriate, of course).

One truck, Shu, One Ryu, the final Ken. Put them together and you get SHURYUKEN, which I'm pretty sure I spelled wrong.

So. When I was younger, back before my mom went batshit insane, we used to decorate for Halloween and such. My favourite thing that my mom and I did, though, was to make a Jack o'Lantern Cake. Nothing too special. It's a layer cake made from two bundt cakes, with cupcakes used to make a pumpkin stem.
I haven't made one in years. But this Saturday, a few friends of mine came over and we had a cake decorating party. We made a Jack o'Lantern Cake.
I've got lots of pictures of it (that naturally, include me and my friends trying to ice each other which turned into an impromptu butterknife fight icon_sweatdrop.gif ), but for the sake of decency I'll only post a couple and link to the rest.
The cupcakes I made, since I only needed two for the stem but insisted on making a whole batch.
With icing!
The final product!
Me and my cohort proud of our work.
