*Even though he just screamed it at the top of his lungs, Luke turns back and says to Chuck, as if letting him in a secret.* "I'm a miracle."
*Chuck's grinning. They're arms are linked, and he pulls his arm tight around Luke.* "Man... It's a miracle we're walking."
"See, you know. You know what's up."
*repeats to confirm* "I know what's up!"
"YEAH!"
*Chuck, plenty drunk, points his finger drunkenly not unlike Aimee had moments ago.* "I love you, man."
"Oh, don't be that drunk." *Luke shakes his head.* "Don't be that drunk! You're better than that."
"You are the first person I met here. The first jackass I met."
*Luke laughs. Now his face is just as red as Chuck's.*
*Chuck continues, slurring his words.* "If you need anything, all you gotta do is let me know. I got your back. And...and I..." *Chuck's looking around.* "And, I don't.... I don't see the apartment."
"Yeah. I don't know where we are." *Luke's talking far too casually for this situation.* "I just figured we'd wind up somewhere. And it'd be okay."

:::Cora, the most sober of the group, actually recognizes the area. Thanks to never having seen most of the architectural structures and being relatively new to things like trees and plants, she'd payed extra close attention when coming here... though admittedly she wasn't positive. It looked different int he dark, and she was rather fuzzy. She went out on a limb:::
It's this way...everyone... :::She points to the right and heaves Max along with Aimee on his other side in that direction. He was supposed to be supporting her, but it was hardly the truth:::

*After walking in the wrong direction a little further, Chuck leads Luke and they walk behind Aimee and Max and Cora towards the apartment building.*
"Oh yeah," Chuck says. "Huh. There it is."
Max burped and said. "Right where we left it."
*Everyone piles into the elevator. They get off at their floor, and with some group effort, they find a key between them and get the door unlocked.*
*As they're walking in, Chuck flips on a light, and Luke makes a growling sound of pain.* "Christ. It burns."
*Luke can't really see straight. He stumbles to the side. Though it would make the most sense to head towards his room, all Luke can see once he gets to the living room......is the beanbag chair on the floor.*
*Luke goes down on the ground, clutching the bean bag chair. He curls up in a ball. Then, he pads around for a blanket.... Even though it's far away from him on the couch.*
*Chuck looks down at him.* "Oh, look at this jackass. What are you doing?!"
*mumbles* "I'm sleepin'."
"Your bed's like 2 doors down."
*After a few moments of silence, it becomes clear that Luke's passed out. Chuck turns around, looking at the rest of them. He laughs, not believing what he's seeing.* "Can you ******** believe that?"
*Drunk, Aimee tried to coax him back up, but Luke can barely respond to anything, even sexual innuendo.*
*Aimee stumbled over, got a blanket and put it over him.* "Yeah. Yeah, he's definitely out."

:::Cora looked down and shook her head... what in the world was that blob Luke was sleeping on? She glanced over at his bed and considered carrying him to it, but the thought was squashed the moment she realized that women like here weren't supposed to easily lift men like Luke up, at least that was the impression of present company.
But then, what now?:::
:::She looked around at them... Cora could handle staying up for days on end to try and uncover some of the secrets of time and space, but a few good hours of drinking and partying and she felt like she could pass out as well:::

*From there, Chuck drunkenly led Cora and Aimee to his room.... and Max followed. It was Chuck's intention to have the girls sleep in his bed, as Chuck knew damn well his room was cleaner than either of his roommates'.*
*When he sees Max following behind him, he gives Max a look like 'what the ******** do you think you're doing?' Then, he laughs, when he realizes that Max wasn't about to miss out on the lovin'.*
*Chuck shakes his head, but Max is on a mission. He climbs into bed with Aimee and Cora.*
*When he hears the girls giggling, Chuck knows that Max wouldn't try anything, and.... from looking at Cora, she could probably kick his a** if he did anyway.*
"Chuck, c'mon!" Aimee called over. "C'mon. There's room!"
*There's not, and Chuck laughs. He could squeeze into bed, but he decides that he wants to actually sleep on a bed of his own. He says g'night and turns out the lights in the house.*
*He walks back, to see Luke curled up in a ball on the livingroom floor. Chuck shakes his head and goes to sleep in Max's room.... Just in case Luke should wake up & suddenly want to sleep in his own bed.*

:::Cora is trying her best not to flop around uncomfrotably... all her clothes were getting caught on in places and she fidgeted to try and not get tugged one way or another among the astranged limbs in the darkness, though she was pretty sure she could make out which were Aimee's and which were Max's. The whole time she could barely hold in her snickering:::
:::Finally she sat up, lazilly, but too frustrated to stay down any longer. She unzipped her boots and tossed them on the floor and tried to settle back down:::

*For a little while, all is quiet as Aimee & Max both pass out.*
*Then, a loud grinding sound echoes through the room. It's coming from Max. Who has fallen fast asleep and is snoring like a champ.*

:::Cora thinks... maybe if she lies really still, her clothes won't catch on anything and she could fall asleep... and then Max starts snoring. She can't stay still either, and everytime she moved she bumped into either of them. As tired as she felt, there was no way she'd fall asleep this way.
Cora used the tips of her fingers to prop herself up around the sprawled body parts, and finally gets into a position where she can stretch her leg over Aimee and get out of bed... and she walks back into the room where she knew Luke was passed out on the blob:::

:::Cora's eyes have adjusted and she can see his limp form passed out, serenely curled into a ball so that he can fit on the bean bag. She smirks a little at the site, and walks over. Now that there wasn't an audience around, she decided she could pick him up. Though pretty tired, it wasn't any trouble getting him off the blob and out of the livingroom. She walked down the hallway towards the rooms. She couldn't recall which one was his, but decided it would be the one without Chuck's heavy breathing and snoring sounds coming out of it. Cora stepped cautiously over all the mess on the floor and got to the bed. She placed Luke down and scooched him gently onto one side of the bed, against the wall:::
:::He didn't stir a bit during the move. Cora considered taking off his shoes, but if he could sleep in them, and it was apparent that he could, she figured it wasn't a big deal. As for her, only once or twice in her life had she slept with clothes on, but exhaustion was going to see to it she could do it again. She did remove the camisole part of her top that had sleeves though, leaving the tube top underneath it. So long as she could move her shoulders she thought...:::
:::Cora grabbed the blanket from off the blob and slithered into the bed next to Luke, pulling it over them. A few moments later, she was breathing slowly, mouth open, fast asleep:::

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
*Luke groaned. He reaches across Cora and smacks the alarm ********. 10:00 a.m. Why was he waking up so early? Why the ******** did his alarm go off? .....Right.... Lacrosse Practice.*
*Wait, Cora?? Luke looks over, and yes, Cora's in bed with him.*

:::Hearing Luke suddenly Cora remembered where she was and she turned to face him, with eyes wide, forcing themselves awake. She took a deep breathe... she wasn't in the Brink. It was morning. There was such a thing as morning...:::
