Booker put his hand on Azmaria's shoulder and coaxed her outside as Loque finished. He'd heard Chrono's request for rope so the elder elf found some with the supplies he'd brought and pulled it out. Blaise stepped outside waiting for everyone else to get there. Kaden stood beside her as she got there and squeezed her shoulder to get her attention.

When Blaise looked to him his eyes weren't on her but on the ominous black clouds in the sky. It would probably rain again pretty soon. She shrugged to him in uncertainty and looked back to the shabby settlement, waiting for everyone to be ready so they could get going.

Booker tied on after Rosette then Blaise, Kaden, and lastly Loque. Kaden leaned over to Blaise's shoulder to whisper in her ear.

"What's going on?" He asked quietly, "I couldn't see or hear them."

"The man who was here was looking for someone . . ." Blaise answered so in the event that Rosette could hear them, which was unlikely but it was better to be safe, that she wouldn't freak out. But Kaden still understood what she meant by it.

Blaise held on tightly and crouched as low as possible. Glancing back at Kaden she could see him consentrating on doing the same. Everyone was in danger of being blown off at this speed. She had found a way to help that, however.

Looking ahead she used her wind elementals to create a split in the air that always stayed the same distance in front of them. It was like a windbreaking point. This cut down on the wind resistance a great deal. Their flight would be faster and the wind wouldn't pound them so hard. The only thing was not tiering herself so she couldn't use her elementals. She'd have to stop sooner or later.

Blaise was beginning to get a little tired but she'd be able to hold the wind block a little longer or untill they got there. She was too busy consentrating on the wind to realize something was wrong. Kaden, however, could see it.

He was close enough to her to speak in her ear so he didn't have to shout to her. "Blaise, there's something wrong. This flying beast thing isn't looking like it normally does. Look."

Blaise looked down to see this was true. The beast had begun to flicker ever so slightly and was beginning to look less and less solid. She wasn't sure what was going on or what to do, she wasn't familiar with Satella's creatures and their nature.

Blaise looked up as Azmaria screamed to Satella who'd fallen unconscious. Before she even understood what she was doing the Lieutenant was untying herself and reaching for the woman. Then what had once been solid beneath her was gone and she was in freefall.

Kaden made a grab for her and caught Blaise's wrist. But as Chrono changed and slowed down the cord around his waist was yanked and her hand fell from his grasp. Blaise continued to fall and the trees and ground were coming up quickly. There was one right below her that, if she planned accordingly, she could land in unharmed.

Using her wind elementals again she forced the air down which slowed her greatly but impact would still be a brutal one. A branch came up on her and her arms caught it stopping her fall and knocking the wind out of her. She gave a pained grunt and continued to hold on.

Once Kaden was back on the ground he cut himself loose and looked around frantically for Blaise. The branch she had caught groaned from the force put on it and broke sneding her tumbling out of the tree. She gave a shout and landed with a thud. She immediately saw Kaden running for her.

"No, Kaden! Go to Satella!" she shouted, but he didn't change directions, "That's AN ORDER FORESTER!" she shouted with a ferocity he'd never heard. He stopped reluctantly and ran for Satella kneeling next to her and Azmaria who was desprately trying to wake her up.

"Calm down, calm down." he urged the young girl, "She'll be alright."

Loque quickly cut himself loose but Booker's hands were shaking too much to get himself out. Loque pulled booker out of the rope then pulled him to Blaise.

Blaise pushed the branch that had landed on her legs off with a great effort. She could feel something hot and sticky trickling down her forehead as she tried to push herself up. She was really dizy and was hurting a lot but she would be fine. As she stumbled to her feet Loque skidded to a halt next to her and took her arm. This threw her off balance and she nearly fell. Pulling her arm away from him she stepped back.

"Stay still, you're bleeding." Loque said.

"No, I'm fine, don't worry about me." Blaise ordered, "Please, just be ready to get everyone moving along, we need to get out of here quickly."

Loque nodded and pulled a very pale looking Booker back to where Kaden was trying to tend to Satella and Azmaria. Booker was quite shaken by seeing Chrono's alternate form, but Loque kept calm and open to the occurence. Kaden was still trying to calm the small girl so he could help Satella.

"Azmaria, please, now is not the time to panick." He urged her, "If you calm down then we can help her. Now, I'm not familiar with these things -- demons and the like -- and I need to know if you are. I need to know if there's anything I can do to help Satella."

Blaise tripped over to Chrono and Rosette unsteadily as she tried to wipe some of the blood running into her eyes away with her sleeve.

"Is she alright?" Blaise panted looking to Rosette who'd been left weak. "Chrono, we gotta get out of here quickly. We need to get to whatever place we're going so we can help Rosette and Satella. Is there any other way we can move quickly? I can probably do some elemental work to move us quickly but I need to know if there's anything else."

"Goodness!" Kaden exclaimed, "Azmaria, please calm down!"

Booker seemed to come out of his strange mind lock and knelt next to Azmaria to take her in his arms. He hoped she wouldn't push him away as he tried to comfort her. "Azmaria, we're doing all that we can." He said stoftly, "Try to calm down. We need you right now, and we need you to be calm. If you'll cooperate with us we can help Satella and you can help her as well."

Blaise looked back to where Kaden, Satella and the others were then turned back to Rosette uneasily. She felt the blood dripping down tickling her cheek and wiped it away impatiently. "Everyone else is fine . . . But I don't know what's wrong with Satella. She only appears to be sleeping, otherwise she looks fine, but Azmaria is absolutly frantic. She thinks it's from the handprint on Satella's side. I'm not sure if it's that or something else, but we need to get out of here so we can figure out what's wrong."
