Marbo eats the big bugs for breakfast and flosses with mono-filament wire from harlequins.

Your comments on Mac's profile are very... Interesting.
Any ways, what's the best horde killer load out for the Hive Tyrant and Carnifex?

I LOVE the Tervigon and Trygon so far, have yet to actually play the trygon though. though My alpha warrior dies very, very easily..seems he is more of a glass warp-sword than I thought. but I love him and his deathspitter brood regardless. Zonthropes are now very tough and hard to kill, all things considered. Friend spent 4 turns of shooting with a fully loaded stationary executioner Leman russ, plasma sponsons and all to kill the thing. 5 point gaunts are wonderful, 6 point hormas with fleet even more so. I feel as fragile as necrons to power weapons though...but who am I kidding? I am playing nids for goodness sakes. Mycetic spores are great for getting my anti tank and scoring units into position. Seemingly have worked almost every time. Anyone else have tales of interest?

Kaori Kapoigne Jason Kharo Your comments on Mac's profile are very... Interesting. It's not private any more?! gonk It is now, but it obviously wasn't for a while. Awesome comments though. I'm all for dirty talk. *thumbs up* On topic, how has everyone found the new codex? From what I've been seeing, though I haven't actually read it, it quickly becomes obvious that all the old armies are crap, and you must by a ton of new models. Also, there's alot of obvious stinker choices that are never going to get fielded.

I bet Vikki just blushed... They were pretty good if you ask me.
The rules for Old One Eye are pretty damn amazing, so are the ones for Deathleaper and that Parasite thing.

My army was changed a bit once I got the new Codex. Not by much. I could actually fit a lot more in my army than I originally could!!! So I just had to add a ton of new models, and by new I mean 2 to 3 new units. (1 of eight Genestealers, 1 Trygon, and 1 more troop of 3 Warriors and a Deathleaper)

Kaori Kapoigne Jason Kharo Your comments on Mac's profile are very... Interesting. It's not private any more?! gonk I warned you once, I warned you twice, but like an Imperial Commander you ignored the tendrils of the Warp or something like that. Great, now I'll need to clean up my comments for the umpteenth time. talk2hand But yeah, how's the new codex? In particular I'm interested in the named monsters found there.

Just fought against the current Tyranid codex for the first time. I had an assault heavy list prepped, and I should have been ready for something like this. Anyway, my opponent was fielding the following list:
HQ – Hive Tyrant (280) Armored Shell Wings Adrenal Glands
HQ – Hive Tyrant (280) Armored Shell Wings Adrenal Glands
Tyranid Warrior Brood [5] (275) Lash Whip and Bone Sword Adrenal Glands Toxin Sacs
Tyranid Warrior Brood [5] (275) Lash Whip and Bone Sword Adrenal Glands Toxin Sacs
Tyranid Warrior Brood [5] (275) Lash Whip and Bone Sword Adrenal Glands Toxin Sacs
Carnifex Brood [3] (615) Crushing Claws Twin-linked devourers with Brainleech r Adrenal Glands
Trygon (250) Adrenal Gland Upgrade to Tyranid Prime
Trygon (250) Adrenal Gland Upgrade to Tyranid Prime
He ended up nearly tabling me, if only because of some pretty grievous tactical errors on my part, such as charging a the Carnifexes with a unit of Berserkers.
Also, those Warriors were pretty harsh on my numbers. The Trygons weren't quite as damaging, but one of them was able to sweep me off of my rear objective. Even though he nearly tabled me, it ended up a draw with me contesting the only held objective.
