I only actually started because my friends smoked, and I thought it was "cool" at the time, and all it really does is make you smell, empty your purse and give you cancer neutral I walked through someones smoke cloud today and almost threw up, it really does stink and make you gag eek
I told one of the girls at work that I was quitting, and she said "I'm not quitting, the government are enforcing all these smoking bans and restrictions, but I'm not going to quit, it's only cancer."
If cancer was a quick sudden death, her statement would make sense, kind of, but the fact that it's slow, painful, makes your hair fall out and gives you a hole in your neck, makes me think shes a psycho.
My mums old boss had cancer, and she had to have half of her neck removed, she died not long afterwards.

Tis good, and no one can blame you for thinking it was cool then. ^^ I'm glad no one has asked me yet to try one. I don't know what I would do until it happens I suppose ^^

Now that I think back, it wasn't cool at all, it was just stupid *___*
I think if my parents had quit when they said they would, I wouldn't smoke, since there would have been no where to get them, and no smoking influence, me and my brothers used to bother our parents about quitting all the time, then tell them off when they didn't, which makes me wonder why we all started smoking in the first place O.o
My oldest brother and his wife quit as soon and they found out they were having a baby, but they had been trying for over 3 years, and I think it's amazing that they went from smoking 20 in a day (each) to smoking none O.O

The first time: It tastes disgusting and it makes you cough and almost throw up.
So just don't try it, just tell your friends no, and if they call you chicken, etc... Then they're not really friends at all, and you can sit back and feel proud when they're smoking their ciggies through holes in their necks.

JUST AS A WARNING TO EVERYONE: I might not be online a couple days after the 7th Harry Potter book is released! Because I don't want to risk being spoiled of the ending... and I remember last time how some people on Gaia were posting spoilers on book 6. >.<;; Luckily I had finished book 6 by the time tho.

I will be locking myself in a room until I finish the book O.O;; heart

aniima: my parents used to smoke too, but quit a couple years ago. i hated the smell but i also have asthma so i've always used that excuse to get away or just say no.

I wish I could've gone to see it. Gin Kadia's at it right now! crying

@Aniima- Eww... yucky ^^ I promise never to try any biggrin For one I don't think my lungs would be able to take it due to my bronchitis and I even hold my breath already when passing by people that smoke ><

@Summer- Same my grandma used to smoke and I think it really makes one think especially when family members do it. Though y dad never smoked he chewed tobacco, it is still a nasty habit and seeing how yucky his teeth are really make me stop and think because I've nearly done with my braces and I want a pretty smile so I can actually smile XD


I've already made myself a promise long ago to avoid drinking and drugs razz . I figure you can't stop one, but both at least. ^^

@Gin- Oooohh... have fun I want to go see it, but the movies are a killer razz No money XD

@Elie- I just started the series xp and I know how people are when new books come out ^o^. Especially when one waits so long they try to finish asap XD.


My mom had HP pre-ordered 3 months ahead for my brother and stupid evil Wal-Mart canceled it razz I plan on speed reading the series to pass my brother maybe though XD He wanted to finish first so no one else could read, but I got him to cough up the first book. ^^ If I can stay with the series (which isn't hard because I need something to read and I hate waiting to find things out) I should finish pretty quickly ^o^.

I also got the messages too. They brought them back (I've heard the stories XD), and I can't believe they brought them back alive. I heard they died o.O. Hmmm... wonder what it will be leading up too.

HP was amazing! Not like the book, lacked Character development but was Hell of a movie! I loved it! The music was really good.

I pre-ordered the 7th from Amazon.ca and if it's not here on the release date the book is free. ^^ Plus it was like 40% off as well.

I've still got to see Pirates 3... *luffs Jack Sparrow*

But Keira Knightley annoys me... It should have been me playing Elizabeth instead. razz
