The Hektor's Shield dropped out of hyperspace with the double planet directly before her. The two Wombat II-class Star Frigates Crimson Sky and Pilum dropped out beside the vast Star Cruiser. Within moments a shuttle had launched from each of them and quickly sped to the Hektor's Shield. Within the hanger bay the maintance crews were hard at work preping the Predator starfighters and T-97 Epsilon bombers for the upcoming battle. Ammunition experts were mounting a unique load to the T-97s, in addition to the standard double plasma torpedoes and cluster missile dispensers the remaining hardpoints were being loaded up with a mixed load of six heavy ion pulse torpedoes and four magnetic pulse torpedoes.
While the work continued the two shuttles landed in the main bay and delivered the captains of the Star Frigates. There wasn't any reception for them, instead they were hurridly shown down the hanger bay where a makeshift stage had been erected by the ship's engineers. Crowded around the stage were a mixed bag of stormtroopers, pilots, flight controllers, mandalorians, and even a platoon's worth of storm commandos.
Borill Elsyn smiled from the simple podium as the people crowded in and the star frigate captains joined them. Admiral Elsyn tapped the microphone before him, "Good morning and welcome. Today we fight the forces of Elladan Kenet. We are almost certainly outnumbered by our foe, but through superior tactics and training we may emerge victorous."
"These are the assignments, the Pilum along with the 32nd combat squadron, and the IPV-6 group Gamma are assigned skirmish detail at combat point epsilon. You'll be the only forces openly visible to sensors at the start of the engagement. The Hektor's Shield, Crimson Sky will be lying in wait at combat point alpha. They will remain there with all unnecessary system powered down until called. Additionally boarding shuttles and the rammships will be deployed at combat points, beta, ceta, and delta. The bombers and their escorts will be deployed at points gamma and iota... We can not anticipate for certain the constitution of the enemy force or their deployment, therefore the boarding teams should be prepared for any eventuallity. The forces at combat point epsilon will be feeding us with the enemy's order of battle as best they can."
Borill nodded to the assembled stormtroopers, storm commandos, and mandalorians, "Once we engage the troops assigned to boarding teams will dock with the nearest hostile vessel and sieze it."
The Admiral nodded to Kusei, "The Mandalorian forces have provided us with information on the weaknesses and internal layout of MandalMotors vessels used in the enemy forces." A holoprojection of a number of different craft appeared over Borill's shoulder, "We've issued this information to all boarding team members... though should you be boarding another class of vessel like an Acclamator III or Victory IV you'll have to be a little more adaptable."
"We'll kick him yelping back across the Perlemian." Borill snarled. Glancing to the pilots and troopers, "To your ships... and may the force be with you."

TK-106 stood at attention as the breifing went on, then his squad filed into an assault shuttle and were ready to disembark.
TK-106 remembered those words "may the force be with you."

Cale Darksun A Tusken Raider wandered the streets of the Huttese city, his gaffi stick shoulered and at the ready as he eyed the numerous non-tuskens that made up the Hutt owned port town. Where ever he went he was given space. Tuskens were not unheard of on Nal Hutta, but so few left their homeworld that the sight of one was uncommon. Coupled with their legendary ferocity and even the Gamorrians stepped aside as he walked past. He soon came upon the palace of Grudo the Hutt, a gangster of no small reach. The Tusken unslung his gaffi and proceeded towards the gate, seemingly ignoring the Armed Guards that stood in his way. Until he suddenly beat them down with the Club aspect of the Gaffi Stick. With a Tusken roar, the raider charged through the gate, twirling his gaffi eagerly. Just as the guards fell a speeder pulled up, filled with numerous armed men, some lookngn like mercs, others had a more spacous look to them. A large human with with a primiative weapon cutched in his right hand leapt from the speeder and pounded down onto the ground before the gates of the palace. he placed his fist up, cantioning the others to hold. He walked up slowly and a blue-skinned male Twi'lek jumped down as well coming up beside him, he wore light, jett black armor and had a long thin vibroblade on his back, and two short ones on his sides, aswell as an assorment of throwing knives straped arcoss his person."What tha sith.."The large human said lookingat the bodies laying here and there in the wake of the Tusken. He pointed to the desert man and looked back to the Twi'lek."Is that him?" The twi'lek just nodded then shruged. Luger sighed."Well at least the pay is good..."he said before runnnig down tha path with the gun in his hand, the twi'lek behind adnt he others in their wake.

The Tusken stopped and turned, gripping his gaffi stick. He saw the armed men coming up behind him. He stopped and roared out a challenge to them twirling his gaffi stick expertly before assuming a combat stance.

Luger held his hand up again from them to stop. He himself did before starting to slowly walk up to the tusken, he set his longbarreled sawn-off againest his shoulder and looked down to the kid. Nearly double his size, Luger could proly toss the kid across an adverage sized friegther."You can't do this by yourself no matter how noble an act is to try."he said looking down on him.

The tusken looked up at him, stepping back to maintain distance between them. And it sounded like the alien was laughing. He raised his gloved hand and motioned the man forward, daring him to advance and engage the Tuskan.

Luger raised an eyebrow and then sighed."Not this sith spit..."he sighed and holstered his weapon into his jacket and pulled the jacket off. Under he wore an armored breastplate made of some flexable alloy, though his arms were bare, but huge. He threw his jacket back and Haldir caught it."My specials please Haldir."he said and his partner shuffled through the jacket and pulled out a pair of metal knuckles and carried them over. he sliped them on as his twi'lek friend stepped back a distance. Joltes of electristy buzzed around his hands as he pounded his fists together and got into a battle position. Fists up and eyes keen."You want me to prove myself? So be it. I've been doing this ever day of my life..."

The Tusken suddenly pulled his mask free, revealing himself as Link. "This one warned you what would happen if you did not let him be." He stated as he tucked the mask away. "Now you must be dealt with." Link twirled his Gaffi once more and gripped it, pointing the spear end forward. "This one doesn't know who hired you, but this one has no intention of being captured at this time. One last time, you are warned away. There will be no third chance."

Link's expression shifted from one of focus to one of dull annoyance. "The jawa hired you, didn't it? That explains your contemptuous view of this one's abilites. Though this one wonders on who's authority you have the right to meddle in his affairs, and how you found out what this one was doing." He stepped out of his stance and swapped his gaffi for his sword. "This one has no need of your help. Nor does he have any interest in speaking to your employer."

Luger sighed again."Well your getting it anyway. I hav not interest in hearing bout a suicide run sum kid made into Grudos palace. Plus I got beef with him tuo."he said and walked back over and pulled on his jacket, tucking the electro knuckles back into his pockets."Lets go men."He said and pulled out his gun and walked past the boy, deeper into the palace, already more guards were on their way.

Link rolled his eyes and let the fool and his retinue keep heading for the Hutt's audience chamber. "Revenge is a rather poor excuse for doing anything." Link muttered as he used the distraction to head for the dungeons in the sublevels of the palace. "Often it leads to poor foresight. Fight the Hutt if you wish, but this one has other duties to attend to." The guards focused their attentions on Luger and his minions, their larger numbers and bigger weapons making the relatively lightly armed youth pratically invisible.

Luger and his men blasted there way through the guards, losing only two out of his 25 men. They finally made it to the main room, a large, tough door made of some thick, heavy metal. he looked at it then pointed to two of his men and that the door, him and the rest backed up as they set the demo charges in place."Hes held himself up in there, once the door is gone we'll smoke the place. Take down the guards and leave him to me, and if you see a human girl, leave her alone. That little brat is after her."

Link moved stealthily through the palace subsections, the alert of a band of armed attackers having drawn every guard from their post.
"The Force works in mysterious ways." He muttered in regard to his odd fortunes. "This one only hopes finding the Princess proves this easy." nd then, his keen hearing detected something in the air, the faint sound of singing.
Link followed the sound, catching the haunting melody as it echoed off the stone of the dungeon walls, a sadly sung tune known to spacers across the hyperlanes. And to Link it was familiar on a level he couldnt quite understand.
The Stars shine bright twinkling in the night those distant points of light call out to me...
oh how I wish I could set my soul free and sail that endless sea that spacer's call home...
"Quiet you!" Another voice called out. "No talking!" Link peered around a corner and noted the human guard standing before a cell with a heavy metal door. "If you dont shut your pretty little mouth I'll break your jaw!" the man growled menacingly. "I dont care if you are the Boss's latest plaything!" Sword in hand, Link stole his way to the man and drew his arm back for an attack. The man's face looked angry as he stared into the cell, oblivious to Link's nohgri-like approach. "What the hell are you smiling about?!"
Link's sword seemed to blossom from the man's chest, effortlessly slicing through bone, muscle, and tissue. Swiftly he extracted the sword as the man's lifeless eyes rolled back in his head and he fell to the floor.
Link glanced at the locked metal door and frowned in thought before noting the heavy hinges of the door. "A swinging door? How quaint." he observed. He wiped the blood and gore from his sword and slid it into it's sheath. "Step away from the door." He stated to the girl inside as he focused. he held his hand out, and lifted his arm up slowly, pulling the pins from the door with the Force. The pins dropped to the ground and then he pulled his hand back, this time using the Force to pull the door his way. With a groan the door was pulled free of its hinges and fell to the side upon the body of the dead guardsman. Link winced in sympathy for the dead man. "Oohhh...sorry..."
Stepping gingerly over the messy scene he entered the cell. His eyes widdened at what he saw. There, chained to the wall and clad in a skimpy slave girl's outfit was a gorgeous blond haired girl with oddly pointed ears, her blue eyes shining with joy and a grateful smile parting her lips. Link stared for a moment, then looked back to the door. "One sees you didnt need to be told to stay away from the door..." He mused.
"Oh Link I knew you'd come!" She gushed. "I knew that my handsome hero would come to rescue me from the dire fate of a-" She blinked and looked Link from head to toe. "Wait, wheres your hat? And why arent you wearing green?" "Oro?!" Link said completely baffled. First this girl was not suprised in the least to see him and infact knew his name, then she stated asking about hats! And what was this with green? Link shook his head and cleared his throat. "Ahem, you are Princess Leida are you not?" She nodded. "Yes! And you are Link!" Link was taken aback yet again. "How did you know this one's name?!" "I foresaw that a handsome and brave knight would come and save me from the clutches of the hideous Hutt, Grudo. And his name would be Link." She frowned as she looked Link over again. "Though the Knights ofmy homeworld wear green tunics and hats. You look like a beggar..." "This one lives the life of an itinerant. Money means very little to this one save but as a means to a purpose." He walked over and examined the shackles that bound her to the wall. She wrinkled her nose and frowned at him. "You stink too...is bathing against your itinerant values too?"
Link frowned. "This one does not stink. This one washed his garments just the other day." "That explains what that smell is." She grumbled. "Its cheap detergent." Link reached down and tugged on the girl's ear, wihch elicited a yelp of pain from the girl. "Hey! Knock that off, those are sensitive!" She snarled at him. "If you dont want this one to do that again, then you will settle down and let him resume rescuing you." Link said calmly, secretly suprised to see they were real.
The girl glared at him silently as he looked to the chains again. He sheathed his sword and drew Rk'adk from his sleave. The Girl's expression changed from one of ire to one of awe as the shimmering white blade hummed to life. "Hold still." Link cautioned as he pressed the blade to her manacles, the energy weapon burning through them with ease.
"There you are." Link said as he shut his blade off. "Now to get you-" The girl lept upon him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You are a knight!! A Jedi Knight!! My vison was true!!" Link looked about confusedly, completely baffled as to how best to aproach the situation as the girl glamped on to him. "This one wishes Master had covered this in training..." He muttered helplessly. He found his gaze noting everything the princess outfit didnt conceal, a conciderable amount of her anatomy. He averted his gaze as he felt his face turn red. "Run-tse duh fwotzoo..." He said quietly to himself as he pulled the girl off of him. Quickly regaining his cool, he drew his cloak off of himself and swept it around her. "We must depart quickly, Milady Leida. It is only a matter of time before the distraction that is occuring upstares comes to a conclusion, and this one has some people he must avoid."
Before the Princess could say anything Link grabbed her hand and led her along through the darkened passeges of the dungeon.
