Desolation, yes@Shadow_Dweller: Seated shows are nice, but I'm really big on being right up front, and those tickets are usually waaay out of my price range emo General admission is not for the faint of heart, for sure, with all the bumping up against people, mosh-watching, and needing to get there hours ahead of time (we stood for a good 3-4 hours before seeing the pumpkins, just to get a good spot...hoooeey!) ^.^ Hesitation, no

immutableimpossible Desolation, yesohh the shovers! I hate them! I never let 'em get in though...before any concert, I teach my friends this funny pose that sticks your elbows out wide, or we decide to link arms whenever someone pushy is going through. I usually end up protecting the people in front of me from dolts like that, too ^^ although most I've encountered are skinny little groupies...so they're not hard to fend off ^^ They're the *best* because they'll sit there and plan to shove you (out loud, mind, so you know what's coming...and get...scared?) and then they'll throw their perfectly coiffed/pressed/manicured selves at you once and get tired. This has happened at 3 *different* Guster concerts, and I never get sick of it ^^ Hesitation, no That sounds pretty much hallarious! I would love to see something like that.

I haven't been to a concert for 3 years so I wouldn't know how much they are these days...concerts aren't really my thing sweatdrop

Desolation, yesooo Weird Al = awesome. on a semi-related note: A friend of mine does professional photography for a group of those fanatical stormtrooper cosplay guys, and he might get to meet Weird Al at one of those shows (apparently it's is common practice for his "people" to contact the stormtroopers to make guest appearances at his shows?) pretty much awesome ^.^ Hesitation, no

Desolation, yesOn a completely different topic... I just went to six flags yesterday...probably the first time i think i really got my money's worth out an amusement park, *despite* the crazy weather in the NorthEast (usa) yesterday. We got to the park at noon, with insanely gorgeous weather, went on some rides and the waterpark until 3:30 when GIGANTIC STORMCLOUDS OF DOOM just rollllled in >.< so we went to get food/shopping in the next town over while the rain hit (BTW, Target in Glens Falls NY does not yet have the Gaia Cash cards..grrrr...). After dinner, the rain was completely over...so we went back to the park for another 3 hours! Awesome parking spot, no more screaming/begging/annoying children, and practically no lines until the park closed at 8pm for GIANT STORM OF DOOM (#2) !Honestly, I usually only spend like 4 hours at a park, maximum, before being completely exhausted ^^ weee! So is the Anniversary ball over now??? I didn't take part in anything...I expected it to be happening for a bout a week or something, since you had so many rounds in the avatar contest and pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey...how could they have all been filled in one day?! sweatdrop

You would have got alot more members if you'd have held it for longer. I hardly did anything because of the difference in time zones..so holding it for a day there would have probably been half as long where I am. sweatdrop but I guess if you attracted new members then it doesn't really matter.
