chipthechipmunk I have been told that my Aunt had been given to choices. One, to just get the lump removed, or two, to get the breast removed that she has the cancer in. She chose to get the breast removed, to lower the chances of it coming back. My Grandmother, actually had both her breasts removed, because she got cancer. um.. they think they caught the cancer in time, so they don't think it will spread to her other breast. She is suppose to get her breast removed on Dec. 21st. So she'll be spending Christmas recovering.. um.. I think my mom said that she will have Chemo 45 times, over a span of 45 weeks. I'm praying that they did catch it in time, and that it will not come back, like my grandmothers did. By the way, the grandmother I am talking about is my mom's mom, and the Aunt is my mom's sister. My Nannie is still alive today I'm happy to say, she survived breast cancer atleast twice! So she's a survivor. anyway. yeah, that's all I know so far I think. Well, I think it's a good sign that your grandmother survived it. I'm praying for you and your Aunt.
