Trei arcs an eyebrow, letting his eyes take in the whole of the cat man. Can't really charge in... this guy was a poofer, and would just end up behind him or someat. Then again...

With a flick of his wrist, the right-hand Tachi (the one near his chest) rotates in place, his grip switching from normal to inverted. Now that he's got that little switch going, he sprints forward, keeping the left hand low and the right high. In a matter of seconds, he's closed the distance between them, and from about a yard away his left hand whips up, swinging the blade in a steep diagonal slash, which if it hits will probably enter just below the mid point on the right side of the feline's chest, and exit just to the right of the neck...

The bobcat blocks easily with the haft of his shortspear, the ring of metal on metal sounds sweet and pure in the dusk of the arena. He simply extends the weapon outwards and flicks it forward to bring the block into place. The defensive stance is like a wall, showing surprising power in a single limb. It might as well be a two handed block.

But it wasn't, obviously, as the long dagger jabs at Trei's chest like a bullet fired from a gun. The punching strength of the weapon rolls from the back and powers through the shoulder.

**Assuming you blocked at waist level**

Trei's response would make any Star Fox 64 lover proud... he does a barrel roll.

Well, sorta. Basically, he uses the point of pressure of his blade on the spear's haft as a pivot point and swings the right side of his around body in a twofold dodge/counter-movement. Even as the man's dagger runs parallel across his chest ((assuming you were stabbing blade down, it's the flat of the blade that is in contact)), Trei's right foot stomps down at the man's left foot in an attempt to pin it in place, and his right-hand Tachi (Blade is facing "down" in respect to the thumb.) whips around in a powerful punch that will, if it hits, sever the muscles below the shoulder entirely...

And yet, for a second, the female demon appears in the "Cheschire's" place again. Another shiver runs down his spine, but he refuses to let up the attack...

Thinking of Cheschire again was fitting, as your blade flashes through where he had been a moment before he grins at you before that disappears aw well.

Silent as a ghost, he stabs you from behind with the dagger.

((Not autoing, it just sounds better that way.))

Even as the right side of Trei's body over-extends, he feels a sudden pressure, almost like a shove. What it is, he doesn't really know; it doesn't feel like anything serious (even though, in reality, it is the man's blade impacting with and lodging a couple of inches in just below his right shoulder. Since he is at an angle from his overextension, though, it enters at an angle rather than directly). However, it DOES tell him where his opponent is...

Using the already shifted centre of balance created by his overextension, the boy follows the direction of the "shove" against his shoulder, his left foot tucking in and shooting out again as his spin places it over the feline's solar plexus.

In the back of his mind, a question; why is his shirt sticking to his back all of a sudden?

((Eek, sorry TreiTrei. This is Jans too))

Of course, the fact that Jans now had his blade in the blood elemental's back was likely pretty bad. Especially when the bobcat screams out in feral rage and drags the blade through the other man's back.

If the foot is still coming, Jans' short spear would be waiting for it and the point would likely bury itself into the lower leg. If not, likely the upper thigh.

Even though Trei's spin would dislodge a good deal of the blade from it's angle, seeing as he's spinning away from the "pressure" instead of into, the dragging of the blade isn't QUITE as bad as it could be; however, there's no denying that something is wrong now.

As he turns, his eyes register something in his opponent's hand; rather than try and outmaneuver it, the young man just keeps his leg tucked and shifts his centre of gravity, his body falling into a roll backwards across the ground and away from the Bobcat. Seems like a good enough idea, right?

Unfortunately, before the young man can regain his feet, his eyes alight on the smears of blood that mark out his roll's path. Followed by the crimson stain covering the feline's dagger. Followed by a sudden realization of just what that wet feeling on his back is...

The mental strain of this is too much for the young man's psyche to bear; his vision blurs, and suddenly his entire world becomes a replay of a nightmare so long ago. The Cheschire has been replaced by a female demon, the dagger by a butcher knife. The smears of blood on the ground have taken the form of two horrifically mutilated piles of flesh and bone- piles that Trei can't bear to contemplate. Flickers of reality and nightmare blur together, and the young man's mind retreats into itself, causing his body to fall forward in an almost catatonic state.

As the boy's mind retreats, however, it passes by another entity that has been just waiting to surface; a dark psyche, filled with only a need for carnage and a need to feed. From his viewpoint, Jans can probably notice as the blood smeared across the ground seems to slither back to it's prone host, see as the boy's body begin's to rise again, this time not bothering to take a stance. It just sways, staring down at the ground, a faint gurgling noise filling it's throat.

The cloud-car puttered in through the open roof; driving in rainbow-powered circles over the stands for a few laps as it lowered down, and then finally went into a dip before parking near the center of the arena.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh~ xp " Grumpy moaned, sinking back in the driver's seat. "Now where is that uncaring kid?"

"I believe you're talking about me?" A man questioned not far from where Grumpy was. After being almost annihilated, or, more technically saying, flattened by the damn car, the man is obviously a little pissed at the near close encounter with death. Again.

He's been having enough moments of waltzing up to Death's chamber once more and asking his soul to be released back to the living due to some idiot's carelessness and reckless driving...

Then again...

Snow frowned, withdrawing his sword with no intention of making things...merciful, for the opponent today, per say.

Grumpy put his elbow up on the car door and leaned over.

"Heeeey~ I found him!" the CareBear proclaimed... then revved the engine on his cloud car. Someone had been a baaaaaaaad little boy.

Having the sudden paranoid thought that the opponent will attempt to run him over again with that....that.......cloud, Snow aimed to side stance, using both hands to hold one of his swords for display, cocking it next to his shoulder in wariness.

"Bring it." He muttered.

With a puttering of little clouds behind it, the cloud car started up - intending to run the bad little boy over.

"You've missed out on a lot of caring!"

Taking on a role as a drunkard, it was only a few seconds that Snow was aloft in the air, bringing his blade right down to break through the window or...whatever the hell the car's material is made of, and to stab his blade right into Grumpy's body if possible.

"Not by you!" He shouted during the meantime.

The windshield was actually made of sugar; that bizzare sugar-glaze material that stunt windows are made from in movies. It broke easily against Snow's blade, though the car swerved in to attempt a sideswipe before taking off into the air and flying up above the stands.

"Children shouldn't break things! IT'S NOT NICE!"

The cloud car turned around, coming back for another swoop down on Snow's head.

Having then ample time to recover and prepare himself, Snow shouted back with the same vulgar language.

"Bears shouldn't drive cars! That's illegal!"

He waited for the last moment before flipping his blade over to the lethal edge, and giving a hard vertical slash upwards when he jumped to the car's right side in a strafe, commencing to disable the troublesome vehicle from flying.

"And you shouldn't run over people! That's not nice too!" He added as well in the meantime.

That way, instead of just cutting through the material of the car - which he has yet to determine what material it is - Snow would've been able to immobilize the car's ability to flight...

Somehow. But if logics are as whacked out as a car that is from any children's channel....

Snow remained on the guard.
