There's 11 magical principles to magic and witchcraft that I've learned from one of my books I have. I'll tell you a few and you decide if it'll work or not. I'm not anyone to tell you what to believe or what to follow. I just know what I believe and believe what I know. neutral 'Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs' by Scott Cunningham Magic requires effort. You will receive what you put into it.
Magic is not usually instantaneous. Spells require time to be effective.
Magic is a divine act.
Magic should never be used in jest or to inflate your ego.
Magic is knowledge - not only of its way and laws, but also of its effectiveness. Do not believe that magic works - know it!
Magic is love. All magic should be performed out of love.The moment anger or hatred tinges your magic you have crossed the border into a dangerous world, one that will ultimately consume you. There's more than just these six that I put. These are just the ones that I felt would answer your question the most.

Purifying and ghost hunting... sounds... Fun?
Simply out of curiosity, what do you know about ghosts? I know next to nothing except I think I have a malicious poltergiest (sp?) in my house... loves our downstairs in a major way... bottles falling on peoples heads, people tripping down the stairs... or is that somethin' else?
I feel like such a moron.

Aliator If people fall down stairs then they're just really clumsy I'm not clumsy and those stairs HATE me... and my sister. And she isn't a clutz... usually.

I dunno.
I've heard giggeling, footsteps scurrying across the floor upstairs, someone hitting on the walls late at night and heavy breathing behind me when i walk around.
And i'm not the only one that's heard them.

But it doesn't always occur at night, except the hitting on the walls and both me and my brother checked one time ( we also checked the giggeling sounds one night inwhich i shot him with a BB gun X3) and both my parents were sound asleep in their bed.
