On the contrary, Faryn had been quite oblivious to the other's approach. In fact, it startled him. Even with his training, he was still susceptible to being caught unawares on occasion.
Hearing the other's voice sounding so close made him whip his head to the side. His eyes trailed over Jillian's silhouette, the other's features so dimly illuminated. "Oh, well.. I..." he began, but faltered. What could he say? That he... wanted Jillian to stay with him? The words sounded so strange to him in that sentence!
Instead, he murmured in an undertone, "... Thank you. I'm... glad you came."

Jillian smiled, feeling... what was he feeling? Happy? Uncertain? Releaved? It was certainly those... There was a strange leaping sensation in his gut... it felt odd and not exactly pleasant, but... it was better than the sinking, leaden feeling he sometimes got from the other's remarks. His eyes returned to the other's dark silhouette, his lips slipping up into a real smile. He wasn't sure how to reply... In truth, he wasn't sure if he was glad about coming or not. He... he didn't want to go back. But he had to make sure Faryn was alright. But that recognition - those words that would, had they been spoken by someone else, have seemed so small - seemed to ease his nerves, his fear of the other Nation. He took a couple steps over towards the other until he was standing next to him. Then he murmured back, "I suppose... I suppose it is good that I came..."

[[ Im not cetain where everyone is at this point.. Sorry if this is random. ]]
Alex wanderd about the area searching in a random idle way as he made his way about the area with great speed. Not spotting any other people at all.. Allowing a feel of lonliness came of this.
After a awhile had passed, he sat causually upon a seat, brimmed with a silver lining like a cloud in a dream after another quick skim of the area then becoming bored. Alex tried to keep busy with his thoughts but his search no longer gave him meaning, instead all he felt was that he longed for a compainion.

Rosaline curtseyed to both princesses, greeting them each in turn. He straightened up, beaming, at Narcissa's obvious glee. "I'm glad you like it," he murmured softly. He had tried quite hard to make it pink... with out it becoming too over-bearing. Turning back to glance for a moment at Muertian, Rosaline murmured, "Well... I should hope they like them. I've been working on these for some time..." He flashed a slightly nervous smile and then turned back to the girls. He really had spent a considerable time on this commision. After all, princesses' dresses were not exactly easy to make.
Muertian just smiled and gave a little nod, though while Rosaline had been pleased with Narcissa's vanity, he was a little sickened by it. "I bet," he murmured before bidding adieu to his sisters and motioning toward the door. "I hate to say it but I don't really.. enjoy girl dressing rooms quite so much. So, I'm going to go back."

"I'm not a - a baby!!" he stammered indignately, face now flushed with anger.
"You sure act a hell of a lot like it," Ravi retorted dryly.
((As for Ravi and Sileny's looks... THey both have short, spiked black hair and pale skin. THey look exactly alike except Ravi has red eyes and Sileny has blue.
*Gift = because "Adia" means "gift" in some language I forgot which...))

Alex whom was supriesed sine his mind was wandering off. He smiled gentley at the smallest child out of the three who was obviously being harassed by the elder two twins and began to help the child up and looked to the other two cautiously. "Now you two be nice to the poor boy, you are all brothers no matter what.. Now run along and be nice." Alex smiled still and looked to the small boy and crouched down to his height. "You ok little guy?" He asked, trying to not to condensend to him but still keeping a freindly tone.

At this, the twins had to burst out laughing. Peals of laughter reverberated down the corridor as the two clutched their sides. "Did you here him, Sileny?" Ravi asked histarically. "Aye, 'now run along and be nice,' is it? No one ever has so much nerve as to say that to us," he said, his laughter subsiding only to be replaced by a wicked grin. "But I don't like his suggestion," Ravi stated. "Neither do I," Sileny continued. "Perhaps our dear brother is in need of an attitude adjustment - I just happen to have my surgical gloves with me." "Yes, and I brought my inscision scissors," Ravi replied. Both the twins' eyes moved to fix on Alex's form, identical evil grins in place on their lips.
"I'm fine," Adia replied, a deffinate pout on his lips. He was obviously very angry at his brothers, but didn't quite have the courage to retaliate. They were very strong in Dark magic - much stronger than Adia was.

[[Sorry >< Been in Michigan and then came back and ... frankly, couldn't get into Faryn's 'rwar', moody character. Still having difficulty but I was like 'OMFGBBQSAUCE@#$^$#&%*!' at that picture, Mie. Thank you! He looks... strangely sweet. n_n and I like the coloring.
I can't figure out what on earth Jillian is wearing. Is that a kimono or something? like.. with the sleeves and wide belt? Anyway. I shall attempt post below. x_x;;]]
Faryn exhaled softly and a little breeze ruffled his already partially mussed hair. When the other came near, he shifted, leaning his head back against the cabin wall. Was he.. a little nervous at the other's close proximity? Yes. He thought so, even though he'd never admit that. Faryn's dark eyes glanced over at him before focusing on the eerie light ahead. But even though he didn't like being so vulnerably close to anyone, he did feel a sense of security from the other's presence.
"Mhm." Faryn brushed a few loose bangs from his eyes. After a few moments of silence, the chrome-haired prince quietly asked, "Do you remember anything? From that place." It might have been a repeated question or continuous prod, but perhaps the young man could've been more blunt. Faryn was just a little too cultured and prideful to blurt out 'Are they all psychotic maniacs who'll execute us on sight?' Alas, he resorted to the same redundant inquiry.

(( xD No problem. I had an itch to try to draw them together... For some reason I always put Faryn in sort of Chinese-style clothes with a cape. As for Jillian, I have no clue what he's wearing. It's like a shirt-kimono with halve-sleeves and a man obi (= sash). xD;;; He just looks good with the folds... Apart from the one time I drew him shirtless with jeans, this is how I always draw him.... xD;;; ))
Jillian's eyes traveled from the Wall, over to Faryn, and then to the wooden panells of the deck. He was thinking. "I remember... some of it. I was only seven when I left, though... I mean... when she... when my mother died. I only really remember the apothecary... Enoth would test drugs or poisons or antidotes on me... I would usually get sick... But then somehow it would stop. It always stopped. The scars never really healed, but the pain and the sickness went away. It was probably Earth blood getting involved..." he said, shrugging. It was depressing to talk about his past, but Faryn had asked.... And it was an excuse to talk to him. They didn't usually speak - it was normally just formalities - but in the past several days, they had conversed more than they had in probably a year. "But I'm guessing that's not what you want to know... Apart from that, I remember some of the land. It was really very... green. We lived in a really small village, but Enoth would send his products all over the Nation. I don't remember the people, though... I don't think I really ever met much of anyone..."

Alex was trying to be nice, that was all. Children were not his area and if they were then perhaps then the children would not be at his side with devilish grins upon thier small smug faces. Alex looked causually from the two twins faces, wondering what would be on their minds.
The only thing on Alex's mind then was to back away from the troublesome children.. Knowing if he stood there anylonger that it would result in some sort of pain. So he took a steap back and tried not to show any form of fear which he knew that it could give them a strong advantage.

((Thw twins are each sixteen and a half... so not children. xD;;; ))
Sileny frowned as their half-brother began to back off. "Ravi, he's a wuss. THat's not fun," he commented, looking extremely put out. "I thought our family was supposed to be more... dark and menacing. But, then again, Adia is related to us and he's about as scary as a kitten," he continued, his tone dry. "Mmm... Sileny, you're always right," his twin said, peering intently at the slightly older boy in front on them. "Guess he's just a twit, after all." The twins looked thuroughly bored and then, without a furthur word, they turned heel and marched down the corrodors in search of someone else to toruture... someone more fun.
Adia watched his half-brother leave, a glare fixed on their backs the whole way. He 'hmmph'ed slightly, arms crossed over his chest, and then seemed to realize that Alex was still there. He looked up, meeting the other's gaze for a moment, before looking back down. He had never really talked to this brother much before.

Alex turned red from fury, then walking after them both and grabbing them by the collar. "Look here you little a** munchers run along and do your immature little phranks somewhere else. Get a life!" With that he pushed them forwards enough for them to fall, but he turned swiftly to see no more his cape would dance behind him the soft breeze. "Freakin brats." He muttered, his mood ruined. Not caring if they fell helplessly on thier knees and grinded their teeth. He turned the coner sharply and took a seat upon the free bench and would think deeply.

((The twins were already half way down the hallway... xD;; And trust me, there's no winning with them. THey're immature brats and schemers as well as sore losers, so they always win. That's why they're side characters and not main ones. xDDD;; ))
The twins, of course, did not fall. They had too much - well... deffinately not dignaty... but pride and quite a bit of ego - pride to to ever let someone best them. Immidiately, the pair turned around to face Alex, they're hands joining so that their palms met. They each had exceedingly powerful dark magic, of course, but also something... else. Their mother - unknown to the king before the twins' birth - had had quite of bit of Ice and Fire blood in her veins. It ran very strongly in both of the twins - Ice for Sileny and Fire for Ravi. Ravi sent out a small eddy of Dark magic, ruffling the carpet and causing Alex to trip. Petty magic, but not at all below the princes. Sileny used Ice magic to freeze their brothers feet in place so that he was frozen kneeling on the ground. "Don't you ever try to force us to our knees," they said in unison, their voices dark with anger.
