Grace Marie De La Cruz

Grace was still feeling rather disgusted with her encounter with Mendez the day before, and had been silent for the most part. He had made sure to leave a few noticeable hickeys along her colarbone, too. Just in case Orion or anyone decided to pay her a visit. She wanted and needed so badly to see Orion, but it looked like he hadn't even tried to visit. Every time she would ask about it, she would get no answers. They wouldn't even give her a weekly phone call like they gave the rest of the inmates. Like Cadence, Grace only ate the toast and banana, drinking only a little of the milk when she spoke, asking if she would be fine for an hour or so. "Yeah, I'll be okay. Looks like the scars on my face scare most of the people away from me." Her fingers drummed along the edge of the table, looking around for a moment.

"Ben, your lawyer? Is there something else between the two of you. I-I know we haven't been close since everything happened, but you know I will always be here if you need me." Her blue eyes looked over the tired Cadence, a small frown tugging at her lips.

As Dereck turned to her, agreeing, Lyn nodded. As much as she could avoid it, she didn't plan to see Dylan again. With Dereck quitting his drug use, then Lyn wouldn't feel a need. If he wasn't using, Dylan couldn't kill him that way. And so she wouldn't have any type of pull anyway. So yes she could agree to not seeing Dylan. She reached up and planted a kiss on his cheek, "You got it, hon." Had he pushed, she would have given Dereck the address Dylan had texted her last week. However it was probably better if Dereck didn't completely know she had that information. Plus this way he could plan out his ... vengeance for lack of a better word. And not receive a stern scolding and orders to be safe. Then she also wouldn't have taken Lucky with her.

As he ordered her to let Lucky come with her, Lyn had to resist rolling her blue eyes. She understood. Here he was president. Not use to being told otherwise or questioned. Plus he was clearly worried.
"Sure as long as you're safe, I'll take Lucky with me."Not that she was really being given a choice, especially since he had stated the man was coming either way. But if it made him feel better.

As Dereck walked out of the room, Lyn wondered who he was even calling as back up. Hopefully it was someone good and trustworthy. With one last breath, Lyn followed him out of the office, hearing him tell Nate he had called his uncle. Now that was interesting. Her blue eyes moved to Lucky,
"Do you want a ride to the house, or are you taking your bike?" She had a feeling the man would want his bike. Then he could get out quick if needed. But she felt like a b***h if she didn't offer a ride too. They were going to the same place after all. So offer she would. Turning to Dereck and Nate she told them,
"You two be careful and come home in one piece. Call when you are done with whatever you plan to do." If she didn't hear from Dereck, Lyn knew she certainly wouldn't sleep well tonight. Truthfully it had been a long week of not sleeping well again for her. But at least if she knew he was safe, that wouldn't be on her mind.

"I hate him...." Cadence said quickly and looked away. She was quiet for a long moment. "the less you know Grace, the better. Just trust me on this one." She reached out and placed her hand on Grace's.
"I love Jasper, it is not in the cards for us though. Especially not now." She looked at Grace's neck.
"The one with the 70's pornstache?" She asked calmly. If it was as she suspected, Ben wouldn't be able to help her once she got the guard alone.

Cadie scratched at the rash on her arm. A rash that was no doubt from the crazy med combinations.
"Ben uses his visits to discuss business and get off." Cadence finally admitted.
"You have to be quiet about it though. I'm not into him in the least but...I made a deal. The deal....the short version....that b*****d owns my a**. I did what I had to, I needed to be here. I needed to make sure you were protected, needed to make sure the charges disappeared. You're beyond Orion's reach here. No Angels on the inside, so I had to make sure I landed myself in here with you." Cadie's voice was very low.
"As of now....Annalise is MIA. She isn't around to press charges. Ben's Crew saw to it."

Archie Thompson

It didn't take very long, but before he knew it Archie was back in Greensville. It had been years since he had been there, but it all looked to be the same. The last time he was here was when he had retired from being part of the MC. He was one of the originals, one of the founders. Though, when he was a part they weren't called the Soul Reapers, they were called La Matanza. Boy, how things have changed. Even though he hadn't been here in years, the respect for the man reached through both towns. Now, his nephew needed his help, and he was more than happy to give it. Archie hadn't seen Grace or Dereck in years, and was looking forward to catching up with them. As he pulled into the auto shop parking lot, he got off of his bike and made his way inside, welcomed by Nate who gave the man a hefty pat on the back. "Aye, it's good to see ya, old man." Archie laughed heartedly, and nodded his head. "Same, same. Now.." His eyes finally fell on Dereck, and he gave his nephew a wide grin. "There he is! C'mere boy." The two men shared a quick embrace, before Archie looked past Dereck and to the small red haired woman behind him. "Who might this be?"

Dereck was about to respond to Lyn, when he heard the door open and an all too familiar voice fill the room. His uncle was here. After their quick embrace, Dereck draped his arm over Lyn's shoulders, gently pulling the woman to his side. "This is Lyn, my girl." His smile seemed to widen at the thought. His girl. Damn right. He couldn't look more proud.

Archie nodded, stroking his beard for a moment. "I feel sorry for ya, sweetie. Having to deal with seeing his ugly mug daily." He shot her a wink and then his face grew rather serious, letting his eyes look between the people in the room. "Now, wanna tell me why ya called me all the way here? Where's Gracie?"

Grace pressed her lips together, and looked down at the table. Cadence sure did put herself in a tight a** spot, but she couldn't help but feel extremely thankful for the woman. She did this because she had to, maybe she even wanted to. That spoke mountains to Grace, and she met Cadie's gaze once again, nodding her head slowly. "Yeah, the one with the 70's porn stache. He has a stick up his a** for your brother." Her voice was low too, mostly because you never knew who was watching, or listening. Grace moved and held Cadence's hand in both of hers, a look of concern on her face only growing. "Well, Ben doesn't sound like a very good man. But, I'm sure that things will work out." At least, she hoped they would. For Cadie's sake. They had all been through so much s**t in the past few years, that the poor woman deserved a break.

When she spoke about being owned, Grace merely nodded her head, staying quiet. She wasn't sure what to say on the matter, and frankly she didn't want to know more than that. Especially if it put her or Thomas in danger. Hearing that Annalise was gone, made her feel and extreme amount of relief. Now that she wasn't here to testify against her, then maybe she would be able to get out of here soon. Depending on how fast her trial was coming up. "I won't say anything, I promise. But you need to be careful, take care of yourself. You have a nephew to spoil." A smile pulled at her lips as she said the last part, and patted Cadie's hand gently. "I can deal with Mendez, and whatever he does. Don't worry about that...he will get what's coming to him. Go get some rest." With that she leaned forward and gave Cadence a hug, letting her arms linger until a guard came around. "No touching!" He slammed his baton on the table, glaring between the two women before walking away.

As the older man walked in, Lyn's eyes darted to him. He seemed friendly and knew most of the men in the room at least. That was especially credible when Dereck gave him a hug. So was this the uncle? Damn he must not live far. So why hadn't she heard of him yet?

When Dereck threw an arm around her shoulders and tugged her close, Lyn sidled up to his side, letting one of her armswrap around his back. She smiled at the older man, who had to be Dereck's uncle at this point. Her smile widened at his statement, as a giggle came from her throat. She patted Dereck's chest gently and replied in a teasing tone,
"This face of this man? The whole package is just so unique, I couldn't resist." She certainly did love the man next to her. He was good; never abandoning her with all her crazies. Instead he stood by her and protected her. So he deserved the same from her, and then some she felt. As the talk turned serious, and the man asked about Grace, her smile fell from her lips. She had a feeling the room was going to explode, and not in a good way. The two siblings really hadn't kept in touch with their uncle. Which was weird to Lyn if he was so close in distance and so quick to come when called for help. Plus perhaps if they had they wouldn't have felt so alienated all these years. But who was she to say. She didn't know all the dynamics of the family yet.

"Ben wants what he wants. Right now he wants me...."I can kill him if you want. Well....correction....it can be done. Say the word." Cadence had finally reached a new low in her life. One where she just didn't care anymore. Life in prison, life outside of prison. It was all the same. Filled with hardships, pain, and disappointment.

She brushed her dark hair back. "He has it out for Orion for a great many reasons...the main one being Orion turned him away. A Prospect who didn't make the cut. He is still all butt hurt about it." Cadence giggled briefly. Cadence hugged Grace back briefly.
"Grace....we both know I will never see Thomas. Once I am sprung, I have to run and hide behind Ben for the rest of my life. The MC will never let me be. My days are numbered. Hell....that is the only thing that keeps me from losing it when Ben touches me." When the guard started to carry on Cadence pulled away.
"Oh touch my d**k!" She yelled at the guard and received a shot.
"Boo ******** hoo...." Cadie said under her breath as she walked away. Another shot not that she cared.

~Orion Michael De La Cruz~

Orion was waiting in the Prison's waiting area. It was slowly starting to fill up. Today was finally the day he was going to get to see Grace. Through some miracle Ben had got him in. Orion didn't want to like the guy, but currently he did at least appreciate the man's professional abilities. He would not let that sway how he felt about Ben though. Anyone who tried to mess with his family, was an enemy. In this situation Ben was messing with both Cadie and Jasper, so Orion had a problem with Ben.

He had left instructions with Killian to look after Thomas. Jasper would relieve him so he could go meet with the Agent in the afternoon. He was trying to give Jasper some time to go see Lena if he wanted too. He wasn't sure if Jasper wanted to send Cadence a message given what they now knew. He knew even what they knew, Jasper would have a hard time mending his heart. Cadie had went from childhood crush to adult lover. It would be quite sometime before his heart was fully mended.

Archie Thompson

Archie looked between the couple, and feeling the air grow tense he couldn't help but feel like there was going to be some bad news about his niece. His gaze hardened slightly, and he clenched his jaw. That was when Dereck finally spoke, and it wasn't exactly the news he had wanted to hear. "She's in jail. Assault with a deadly weapon." Dereck glanced down at Lyn, giving her an apologetic look for what was about to happen. "Excuse me? What in the holy ******** ******** ******** happened for her to go to jail?" His voice was slowly rising, indicating that he obviously was not happy with the news.

Dereck sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Long story short, she married the De La Cruz boy, had his kid, and found out something happened between him and another woman and beat the girl with a bat." Now, Archie wasn't a stranger to the De La Cruz family. In fact, he had dated a few of the women when he was younger, and remained on good terms with the family ever since. But, upon hearing this new news, he sighed heavily. "Well, s**t. What have you been doing the whole goddamn time-...you know what, I'll deal with that crock of s**t later. Now, why did you call me here?"

Dereck straightened up and cleared his throat. "Lyn..?" Dylan was mainly her issue, he was just here to make sure that nothing else happened to her. That, and he wanted to get his ******** revenge on the man.

Grace hated the damn guards. They were all assholes, every single one of them. As soon as Cadence had left, a guard walked over, instructing her to stand and hold her hands out for the cuffs. She had a visitor, but they wouldn't tell her who. "I already said I'm not talking to that damn agent without my lawyer." She hissed, grunting softly as the guard shoved her out of the dining hall, and into the main hallway. Of course they had her checked to make sure she didn't have anything on her, but once they finished she was lead to a room and seated at a small table. They left her handcuffs on her, and the guard left the room to fetch Orion, bringing him to the private meeting area.

Orion was lead into the room. They of course made him leave all of his things in a locker. He was lead in and seated across from Grace. She was still handcuffed.
"Does she had to be cuffed?" Orion asked as he frowned at the cuffs.
"She won't hurt anyone." He reached out a hand and gripped her hand. He was so happy to see his wife.
"Thomas is doing better." His green eyes moved to her face. Even in orange she was beautiful in his eyes.

Grace felt her heart jump into her throat when they finally led Orion inside. She was quiet for the most part, just letting her eyes take in his features. Memorize them until the next time she would be able to see him. Luckily, the guard decided to remove her handcuffs before stepping out, and leaving the two to their small visitation. Grace wasted no time moving from her seat to wrap her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. "I've missed you, so much." She could already feel the tears stinging the back of her eyes, and only hearing that her son was doing well made her want to cry even more.

As Lyn had figured, The Thompson uncle was not happey to find out where Grace was currently. Yet he did seem to know the De La Cruz's as well since she saw the recongization across his face at the mention of the name. And yet she was partly glad that he stopped asking Dereck what he had been in to at the time. That was a can of worms she wasn't sure they were ready for yet. Maybe when Dereck was farther out from using it would be better. Yet then he got down to the meat of it and asked why Dereck had even called him. When Dereck looked at her to explain her stomach dropped some. Alright so it was her who was going to now explain the Dylan problem to a complete stranger to her. Well guess this all should be started off on the right foot. Cadie didn't hate her until after she knew her, let's let this guy hate her from the beginning. No love lost.

Lyn took a breath, trying to search for the right words. Where did she begin? How much did she tell him? The other three men in the room knew all she had told Dereck, plus more just due to having lived in the s**t Dylan had made during the time he had been in the area.
"Well, Dereck called you here as extra back up, I'm guessing since I told him he should have more people before going out after this. I want every here home in one piece after all." She began. Now for the Dylan part. 'There's a man that came to this area, let's say 8 months ago now, named Dylan Flieshman. He's a big drug dealer/supplier, and from what I know of him, he's more than likely already supplying anyone and everyone in the area that has sold drugs, was selling them, or just got in the business. He knows how to expand that business and expands it quick. He's from a larger, well known farming family up in MN. So he's got money, as well as connections everywhere." She didn't feel they needed to know the reason he got into the drug trade was because his grandfather had told him he couldn't be a doc or pharmacist. That was just useless background knowledge that Dylan had spewed to her one night at the beginning of their time together. All it did was show he knew what he was working with, and he wasn't just some dumb farmer. Continuing she said, "When Dylan first moved here, he was running with a couple dangerous groups, one being an outside MC. I don't know how much he is still affiliated with them, or what other guys he has of his own and what not. He certainly know someone in the local PD or Sheriff's office tho. He's not stupid completely, even if his mind is twisted. He finds what he wants and works to get it." Was that everything? Dylan in a nutshell and the problem he posed? Lyn glanced back up to Dereck for a moment before she related the current adventure for the club from Dereck had mentioned he wanted to do.
"Dereck knows a dealer that use to sell n Greensville; thinks he's selling again. If he's selling again, there's no mistaking he's being supplied by Dylan. Which means there's end to what kind of protection the man may have. So to make sure everyone comes home, he called you to help." There that was it. In a brief overview. Lyn didn't think she needed to say that Dereck was leaving Lucky with her. But any questions she would answer the best she could. She had just been glad while she recounted information to this stranger to her, Dereck still had his arm around her. His warmth, his smell, his grip told her it would be ok. Told her this was a man she could trust.

Agent Diana Peck-Kochette
Outfit

After eating Di had brought Alyvia home. Together they worked on the girls homework and had watched TV before bed time. Diana was up for a few hours after ther young girl had fallen asleep though. The papers and files strewn over her bed, while ther laptop sat in her lap. She was going over everything again before the next day to ensure she had all the right information in her brain. As well as trying to look harder into the kidnapping instances and Officer Mendez. What she found on him, just disgusted her and gave her the shivers. It was men like him that gave cops a bad rep. And so when he called her back in the middle of the night, she laid into him. Leaving no room for him to not understand the consequences of his actions to come. Grace and Cadie were both now under her protection from him and any of his guard friends as they could impede a witnesses statement with their mind games and rape. If he or they stepped near on of the girls again, and she would hear make sure she kept on eye on it, she would file the warrant out against him. And for the investigation he would be stripped of titles and job as well as under investigation. So now it was all on him; he just had to pick his quicksand trap.

Finally getting to bed it was after midnight by a few hours, so when the alarm clock rung the next morning, Di couldn't help but groan at the thing. But up she must get and get Alyvia ready for her second day of school as well.So up they did.

After dropping Lyv off at her school, Di drove to the station in town. She had to check with the Captain that all was set for her meeting with the Angels today. And she was glad to hear it was. However she didn't make her way over there until about 9. When she did arrive, she found the manager, who then showed her to the back private room. There were booths along both side walls, and tables for four all within the middle of the room. They had their own separate bathrooms, a back door, as well as a door that lead to the kitchen. Of course the first, and only thing she ordered for the time was coffee. Then Di got to setting the room up how she wanted. Pushing three tables together in the middle of the room to create one long table, and pushing a couple other tables together behind it. A place for those they were meeting to sit. Then she pushed a table to rest near each side of the door way coming from the main cafe, to place an weapons that the MC came in with. As she was getting herself set up then at the back booth on one side of the room, her partner Agent Trebolt came in.
"Well if it ain't the she-devil herself?""Morning Trebolt." "Remind me again why you choose to do these things so God-Damned early?" Di looked to him with a smile. Yes her parnter preferred to sleep in, especially after travel. And she couldn't blame him."You can go back to sleep, if you wish. Then you can take the after hours shift." The man grumbled and moved into the room setting his files and pad of paper on a table of a booth on the opposite side of the room before moving to pour himself a cup of coffee from the thermos that had been left."How's Lyv liking her new school and the move?" Di sighed,"She seems to like the school. It's only the second day. But she's doing alright.""Give you props for moving that kid around with you all the time. You know Maria would watch her.""I know. But I wouldn't want to put that on Maria, She's got a handful with your two rug-rats as it is." That received a chuckle from the man, and as they waited, Di filled him in on what she had found already on the case, listening as he stated what he thought of the whole thing.

Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine

Lena was rushing from the hospital up to the prison. She had just received a phone call that her daughter had suffered a seizure and banged her head when she fell off the top bunk during the seizure. Yes her child was an adult, but she was still her Mother. She would always worry about her child no matter how old she was. She was even more worried now that her daughter was in prison.

Once at the prison Lena demanded to see her daughter. Her daughter was unconscious but the seizure had passed. It had been nearly a half hour since the last seizure. She sat beside the bed holding Cadence's cold little hand. She would trade spots with her daughter in a heartbeat if she could. She had always been a sickly child, but the last seizure she remembered Cadence having was when she was 9 years old.

Lena was questioned about her daughter's medical history. Lena listed the medications Cadence had been on when her seizures were most active when she was a child. She was angry to learn two of the medicines she was currently being given were ones that Cadence had in fact told the staff she had adverse affects too. They simply had not believed her, or not cared.

After Cadence was up and conscious again Lena talked to her a bit. Cadie seemed disorientated, and the bump on her head was extremely tender but there was nothing they could do for her. They tested her sugar and found her sugar was low. Further testing revealed her iron was low. Against medical advice Cadence insisted on being returned to her cell.

Lena tried to convince Cadence otherwise but she knew the fight would be pointless. Cadence had a one track mind, and right now keeping Grace safe was what was on her mind. Lena was told it was time to leave since Cadence was conscious and moving about.

She left, fighting to keep her tears in check. She wanted to snatch her child up and drive away from that awful place with her. She knew her daughter, knew that Cadence never did anything without a reason. She did questionable, and even bad things at time, but always with a reason. A very good reason too. In Cadence's head, she did bad things for the greater good. Ever since she was a child Cadence had behaved that way. It made disciplining her very hard at times.

Lena noticed as she wandered back to her car that she recognized the car parked one car from her. It was Orion's car. Her daughter's oldest half brother. She realized he was probably at the prison visiting his wife Grace. Grace was a coworker of Lena's from down at the hospital. Grace was a Nurse, and Lena was a Phlebotomist at the hospital. She knew Grace, and knew of her. She had even crossed paths with the younger woman, but never met her on a personal level. Though from her encounters with her at work, Grace was a sweetheart. She couldn't believe the charges against Grace, which she only knew about because of Cadence. Sure she had heard the whispers and gossip at the hospital. She ignored it all though, she had learned long ago the secret to a peaceful life was to ignore the talk of others.
