She wouldn't show it, but it was rather shocking to see the town you live in destroyed, demons rampaging through it.
"Right, simple enough, I might see about spending some of these tokens as we walk, make myself useful at least."
Arimina, while following Nekura, started fiddling with the app on her phone, purchasing a few demons as she had said, while absentmindedly wondering if her house and lab were still ok. Probably not, but it was nice to think about.
"Youmu mentioned it before, but you guys aren't really running a food shop here are you? If so, that's rather amusing, and I applaud you all, but still rather crazy, even by my standards."
As she spoke, a group of demons approached the pair, but she just watched with amusement as Nekura's demon took them out in an easy fashion.

"Well, as long as it's just a regular fast food restaurant, that's ok then. As for getting drunk... Well, I wouldn't say I'll go that far, but a little bit here and there never hurt anyone. No chance you've come across any tobacco have you? I've still got my pipe, but I am, woefully, out of anything to smoke."
Arimina waved her hand lightly as she spoke, indicating it wasn't a huge problem if they didn't have any, but she might go on a trip and see if she could find some herself if they didn't.
"As for food, I could certainly eat something that didn't come from a tin, a chef I am not. Hopefully whoever runs the kitchen at this place of yours can actually cook, my hopes are rather high right now after all. As for serving all customers, well, as long as they don't cause any problems, I won't stop anyone who wants to come and eat."
She made one final input into her phone, and with that, she had spent all of her saved up tokens, and acquired a small amount of demons she could summon for her troubles.
"And there we have it, I imagine I'm quite far from whatever upper limit you just mentioned, and while I'm quite adept at taking care of myself, from what I've seen I would certainly appreciate some real help getting there, I don't like feeling beholden to anyone for taking care of me."

Someone who could cook? "Oh, the Angels can cook." he chuckled, giggling. "It's called Heaven's Finest, for a reason. So long as you just head in friendly-like, we'll serve ya." He watched her gather up some more demons, chuckling lightly as he took out some mantra demons. "Eh, it's no trouble. Just stick to one of us, and you should be fine. and yes..Us. There's quite a few.." The two had been walking a ways...And, as they rounded a corner... Arimina would see a giant, brilliant Angel...with a smock on that said 'Kiss me: I'm the Cook.' "Annd..that over there, is Ellie's."

Nekura!" she called with a wave, darting over..and seeing the lady next to him. "Ah..? Who's your friend, Nekura?" she called, waving lightly. "My name's Ellie Troit! It's nice to meet you!" The woman had ears...and a tail. Odd..but, not the strangest thing she'd seen in the past 7 days.

"Right... Food cooked by angels... Only in the apocalypse..."
Her musings were suddenly interrupted by a green haired girl rushing up to Nekura, greeting him brightly before turning to her. Receiving the same bright greeting, Arimina smiled back, giving Ellie a quick glance over as she did.
"Hello my cute darling, it's a pleasure to meet you too. My name is Arimina Wolfgang, but you can call me Arimina, or just Mina if you wish. I've heard a little about you, and your store. It was very courageous of you to do something like opening a shop, considering everything that's going on."
Arimina's ears and tail flicked, as she noted that, while Ellie noticed them, they didn't seem to bother her at all, which caused a genuine smile to come to Arimina's lips.
"They are real, but don't worry, I'm mostly human, just a bit of... leftovers in the ancestry. You can touch them if you'd like, once I've had a moment to sit and relax."
She sniffed the air lightly, as the smell from the restaurant had wafted over, and had to exert considerable control over herself to stop her tail from perking up.
"If what you're selling tastes as good as it smells, I'm going to be a very happy customer."
A small group of demons had wandered closer as she spoke, but she payed them no heed, letting her own, newly acquired, demons take care of them, taking the tokens her pets brought back for her.
Nekura Myonmu 'Yeah...Yeahh..." It always was absurd to think about. Speaking of the store though, a familiar voice called out, and he turned to wave at the girl. "Oh, hey Ellie!" he called, as she introduced herself to Arimina, and the woman answered a few unasked questions. With Arimina's last quip, he leaned in. "Ohh, trust me. It's even better than it smells." he mused, directing his demons to watch the outside, as he started along. "Shall we go on in, and place an order then?"

Ellie Troit "Hehehe. Yep! Heaven's Finest Burgers!" the girl mused, giving a small pose, as the woman introduced herself...and mentioned her store. "Ahaha..It's just kind of..a weird habit of mine." she mused, lightly flushing at the compliment. The woman even addressed her ears and tail, Ellie's eyes brightening a bit. "Really? Wow! That's super cool!" she called, giving a small fist pump. "I wonder if my ancestry has anything nifty like that....Probably not." A small pause and sigh, as Nekura assured her on the food quality..and the girl hopped up. "Ah, Yes!" she mused, starting to the door. "At Ellie's, we serve only the best! I'll be more than happy to serve you up, Arimina!" The girl went ahead of the two, moving behind to prepare something for Arimina..absentmindedly forgetting to ask what the woman would want. Oh well, that's what the demon waiters and waitresses were for!

Well, at least Ellie's place had been relatively safe... but in the end, that meant little when you considered the unrelenting assaults from the different groups. The next force that came in was a little different from the rest - it was composed of hundreds of slimes, and she couldn't grab onto their bodies the way she could most other demons. With a shrug, Miho bent down and ripped a bench off of the sidewalk, then picked up her pace and started bashing her way through the horde.

Over the course of this battle, there'd been no denying that Miho was strong... and strength wasn't everything, clearly, as a heavily-armored demon rose up from the ground behind Miho as she tore through a group of lesser foes. Before she could even turn back to realize it was there, the demon shot forward and swung its weapon down in a massive overhead cleave, bashing her straight into the ground. It was an obviously fatal blow... and the demon pulled its weapon back in satisfaction as many of the other demons scattered, seeing no need to stay any longer.
The demon that had struck her turned around and started to sink into the ground again, then paused... and turned its head back to look as a circle of flame ignited on her back. Miho lurched to her feet a moment later, striking the bottom of its chin with a rapid uppercut before striking its chest dead center. The metal actually cracked under the force of the blow, and the demon lurched backwards as a few drops of ruby-red blood dropped from Miho's lips.
"That was a... pretty good blow." she admitted. "But I'm not going to lose just because of that." The demon just raised its shield slightly, then darted at her and swung down again. This time, she could see it coming, and whirled to the right - then bent backwards at her knees until her head almost hit the ground, narrowly avoiding a wide sweep from the demon's heavy blade. Without giving it another chance to strike, she straightened and delivered a left hook to the same place on its chest she'd struck before, pounding it three times before twisting past its weapon arm, grabbing it, and hauling in a direction its limb wasn't supposed to go.
At that, the creature finally let out a pained cry - and the noise grew much louder as Miho put one leg on its torso and pushed, tearing its arm straight off. The sword clattered to the ground, and finally the demon managed to regain a little more momentum as it struck her with its shield, sending her tumbling away... right in time to pick up its heavy blade. "...I suppose this will do." she muttered, whirling the weapon around. The demon managed to block it, but staggered slightly under the force of the blow, and Miho didn't let up. Once, twice, three more strikes, and she finally managed to break its guard and bring the blade down on top of its head. The heavy weapon kept going, moving halfway through the demon's body before it finally stopped, and its body started to vanish as Miho, panting, straightened a bit.
"You got me once... but it's not going to happen again." she said quietly. Dropping its weapon - she didn't need it - she began moving again. She hadn't seen the girls in too long, and needed to make sure they were okay. Death itself would not keep her from her duty.
