Kiku chuckled a bit "Ki is not changed with activity, but by demeanor." she said "Good people have positive ki and it often feels warm while bad people often have negative ki and are quite cold." she held up her hands waving them about for a little bit "Though everyone is a mix and balance is important, you can normally tell what type of person someone is by their ki." she hummed out a bit happy to be around someone who was clearly quite good.

Kiku tilted her head to the side a little "Well I know that much, but is it not weird to eat your own shape? I don't know, do people eat human shaped snacks?" she didn't know too much about that. She did things in the shape of what was natural to her and generally that was everything despite being a vegetarian by choice, and practice.

Kiku shook her head though at the mention of seafood she did scratch her head just a bit "Fish is.... The people of my country, at least in my time, did try to tell me often that that fish was not meat but I think it is." she pondered for a moment, the whole thing quite often being confusing to her, but she did her best to stick to her guns.

Kiku watched as Devi tried what she made, worried that it might not taste good thanks to her refusing to try it herself, but as she complimented her Kiku's eyes lit up "Wara wara~! Thank you!" her tail swayed a bit happy with that outcome. She nodded "I made a lot since we both eat a lot, whatever is left I can give to someone else or leave as offerings."

She drank the tea Devi brought and of course ate a lot of the food she made "It is wonderful to enjoy a meal outside with a friend."

Kiku shook her head "Food shall keep us strong and able to do all the fun stuff." she tapped her chest having a bit of fun. Kiku would actually starve to death pretty quickly if she didn't eat anything thanks to her own energies which is pretty why she ate so much. It actually kept her healthy otherwise her own abilities would kill her...a rather tenuous connection, but she was able to deal with it. It was probably the only reason she was able to eat as many sweets as she did and not get sick or anything actually.

Kiku paused a moment before looking over at her, a small blush on her face "Hmmmm?" she rose her hands "No! no! no! My statement earlier was not meant to imply...jeez." she placed a hand on her face and took a deep breath "I was just...you asked sincerely so I wanted to make sure not to mess it up. I am just not good with making dates fun I guess." she said though after a bit she laughed taking another deep breath leaning over to gently poke Devi "Silly squirrel."

She took a moment to stuff her face more, gulping it all down before she spoke again "Have you been making more friends?" she asked curious about how Devi has been doing whenever they parted ways.

Kiku laughed at the whole eat a buffet out of business thing. They honestly probably could "Well at least their meat would be safe from me!" she joked in return though as Sidevi attacked her arm Kiku's dramatic senses kicked in. She put a hand on her forehead "Oh no I have angered the squirrel! The deadliest one there is! Woe is me!" she laughed pulling Devi in a bit closer.

She smiled "That is good. This place has so many friendly people in it and a lot of them are inhuman too. It really is a nice place to go." her tail danced with Kiku's happiness.

By default Patrick and Hiro arrived to their spot to their usual routine of visiting the park after work after buying his kitten its favorite treat to chow on for continuous good behavior. Looking forward to the video chat with Kenzie after sundown as usual. Played with his beloved kitten with the help of the toys after the treats were eaten. Decided to leave a little earlier to go out on his own after dropping off Hiro back at the house. [exit]

Hikaru was still contemplating on whether to visit the person Sidevi had mentioned before, a girl named Kiku, but that may wait a bit. For now, she had the urge to draw now that today's her day-off, and she had the urge to draw something on her sketchbook; she hadn't done that for months since she was busy with her waitress job plus painting with her canvas for clients. Currently, she's at the park, sitting under the shade of a tree with a picnic blanket covering the section where she was sitting on. More importantly, she had constructed the three-meat picnic sandwiches as a way to curb her hunger, though right now, she was in no mood to eat. She was too focused on the task to think about food.

The detail that the fallen angel was currently working on was with the children playing around with the kites. Her blue eyes were glancing at the two girls laughing as they ran around, making such things fly. Innocent yet playful, something that Hikaru had missed during her childhood because of the war.

There was a pang of longing inside Hikaru's chest at the sight on the kids, but she pushed it aside, having to focus on the task instead, since she was almost done drawing them. After ten minutes, she was done; the trees would be the next detail to look into. It was then that the guitar riffs reverberated throughout the area, and the brunette craned her head, only to notice that there was someone playing the instrument. The skill level was a bit below average, not as skilled as Solaris with her violin, but the persistence was there despite the slight hesitation. Rummaging for her messenger bag, she picked up a small coin purse and approached the lady while still carrying her bag. She then placed a few coins into the small tip cup located not far from where the girl was standing.

And without hesitation, Hikaru began to sing to the tunes, thus inducing small cheers from the crowd. Her voice was not as skilled, but she was in the mood.
