The road was forked, and she opted to take the left path and pick up what the pocket card called a reset timer. Hopefully it would be useful!

The little item did, in fact, come in handy. Just as the Jabberwock gobbled her up, the item flashed and she was running again. No saliva, praise be to the higher powers.

Pinkie had somehow gotten separated from both Wiz an 0m N0m, but nothing seemed wrong until suddenly all kinds of little creatures started running past her, all shouting that something was coming. "What's coming?" she tried to ask, but they all ignored her and kept running. And then...it was silent. Uh oh....that...probably wasn't very good... That was when she felt it behind her. She turned slowly and looked up....and up....and up. She should probably run. Except she couldn't move. She screamed as the Jabberwocky snapped at her. Her pocket card chimed You have 10 HP remaining.....awesome. She started running. He opened his eyes one last time, figuring at any moment that the monster would be right on his tail again...but it seemed he had managed to find his was at the forest edge, his guard immediately falling as he took slow steps forward...unsure of whether or not he would suddenly be chased again.
Nothing followed...so he quietly left without taking another look back. (Part two...) The voices were next, oh jeez, the voices.... She managed not to turn around this time and kept running, ignoring the voices as they called to her. It was just that monster trying to trick her again! (Part three...) She came a fork with a choice. With the footsteps slamming behind her, she didn't have much time to choose. Byakko started when the yelling and shaking started. Something was coming? What was? He got his answer when he turned and the Jabberwocky was there. He let out a yelp when it attacked him and staggered back. He turned on his heel and started to run away as fast as he could. Why in the world was the Jabberwocky attacking people? Why in their right minds had disturbed it so it would attack people? Or maybe Jabberwocky's were just naturally aggressive and attacked when ever they saw prey.
