"You're never too old for help." Nina said patting him on the head before she continued walking.
As she got into the auction hall she had to do some squeezing to get a good view of the weapons. While some warriors moved so her and Elric could get through some stood firm and required a bit more force to get past. One of the warriors armor she pasted ripped the shoulder off her shirt. "Damn it." She grumbled.

"Thats what happens in crowds, Nina." He looked around, holding her hand to keep with her. The announcer continued to talk and the biddings continued for hours. Until.. "Here we have a special item for last. I'm sure you all heard of the lost Irrigan Originals collection." He brought on stage a sword in the shape of a katana of all things. Only those from the Thunderlands region used those, Quintu it was commonly called. "Here we have Six Swords, a blade said to have the cutting power of six. Many claims were said and rumors of it even splitting into six floating swords, but the owner could do nothing with it. Not even cut an apple, the rarity comes from being an original of the ten, but it's a piece of junk otherwise. Great to go over your fireplace." "A piece of junk!?" Cried out Elric, he's seen the Irrigan weapons in action. To called them junk was an insult. The announcer looked at him and nodded his head. "Junk kid, they don't work as advertised. So now, who would like to bid on it?"

Nina watched the auction, not bidding on anything but she was impressed by some of the weapons. She sighed and was ready to leave when they brought out the last weapon. She got a wide smile as the announcer said it was one of the Irrigan weapons.
When Elric called out at it being called junk Nina tugged on his arm to pull him down and shush him. As the announcer started the bidding Nina lifted up her little numbered sign to place her bid.

Seeing her bid, the announcer called her out. "I have a bid, anyone else?" There was murmuring about not wanting to buy it. "What? No one else? Going once, going twice, sold!" With a slam of the gong, it was hers. "Wow, that was easy...hmm?" Elric turned to his side and saw someone staring at them, all he could see was the eyes though. The crowd began to move and he lost the person. "Huh...weird..."

"Yeah isn't that great." Nina smiled and went up to pay for her new sword. When she picked it up and smiled. She slipped it into its shieth and quickly headed for the door, grabbing Elric as she passed him. "what are you staring at?" she asked

Elric rubbed his eyes and shook his head. "Nothing, I just..." He paused mid sentence and changed his mind. He wasn't even sure what he saw, and he could do without Nina's teasing about it. "Nevermind, you got the sword. Give it a shot, you're the one with the spooky abilities. See if you can activate it's true power."

Nina nodded and lead them to a safe distance out side of town. A few people from the auction house following them to see if she really could since she was the only one to bid on it. They got to a field where bamboo trees grew with a great amount of space between each other. Nina had done this intentionally since bamboo grew quickly in the areas fertile soil and they made good targets.
Nina unshiethed the katana and held it in front of her as she stared down one of the bamboo trees. She brought the sword back and swung, the sword flashing as it cut the tree. Nina looked up as the tree wobbled and slowly fell. When it hit the ground and there was nothing exciting about the cut she sighed. "well, that was a waste." She said. She sheathed the sword and it crackled. A ghostly version of the sword appeared where she had cut the tree and swung in the same motion she did before fading. "Whoa! Elric did you see that!" She exclaimed, turning to Elric excitedly.

Elric shrugged at that. "Maybe it's a fake-" His jaw dropped, after seeing the ghastly blade appear before his very eyes. "That is so awesome!" Everyone was amazed by the afterimage cuts to where the tree had fallen. At the same time, they were jealous and peeved at not buying it themselves. They all rushed her at the same time, asking about the blade. "I'll give you 500 Gill for it!" "600!" "800!" "2000 Gill!"

Nina smiled and looked to the sword. "I've got to test this thing out again." She said grabbing its handle. She was soon rushed by the other warriors offering to buy it. "you guys had your chance, there's no way I'm going to sell my families weapon." She said, pushing them away as they started to crowed her.

"Move along people, go on now, shoo." Elric pushed away as many people as he could. Eventually the warriors dispersed on their own. Many of them thought they should had known Nina Lorene Irrigan-Cast would had bought something like that. She was well known as the girl searching for famed weapons. Seeing it in action, they knew now she wasn't crazy at all. Elric sighed, but smiled at his cousin. "That makes four of the ten returned to the family. We ought to show you mother and Aunt Lirria the discovery. I bet they'll be just as happy as before when you found your battle mage weapon."

Nina smiled and nodded. "I bet they will but first I want to figure this thing out." Nina said, pulling the sword from its shieth. For the next few hours she would run around the field cutting down Bamboo trees. In that time she figure that there can be up to six phantom blades at once, each swing would make one blade, the speed at which she swung would effect the delay of a phantom blades formation, and that the phantom blades were made of plasma as evidenced by the burns the blades would leave behind when they cut through the trees.
When she was done Nina put the sword away and smiled to Elric, the sun setting behind him. "Well looks like I've found my secondary weapon." She said smiling. Her main weapon and what she used mainly as a battle mage was a large transforming scythe. It was the more technological of the Irrigan weapons, taking influences from old Unin tech giving it its clunky form. It had a few forms to it and Nina thought there might be more but for now she only knows of 4. "come on, lets go home." She smiled, pulling a black bag from her belt and dropping the sword into it. The bag was one of Ecas most recent inventions and made carrying her weapon and the others much easier.

"Looks like it, you're so lucky you can use those. I swear, I think it has to do with Irrigan blood more than it does with the spells tied to them." Thought Elric, he followed her back in the direction for home, her home anyway. His was above in the Skylands, Uni with his parents, Lorene and Derrick. Gotta love Nina's Inventory Bag, it was something specially made for her by her godmother Ecalena. The others you could just purchase in stores for a high price were just knockoffs of the original. Inventory Boxes Mk II were now standard issue to anyone who joined a guild. Eca's son Irvin had developed a way to recreate his mother's handiwork to help support the family, though it took far more resources. On the way, a flash fire had appeared in town near Nina's folks. That was the new crisis in Duon the Firelands that's been going around for some time before they were even born. By now, the towns were prepared for it, but it didn't make it any less of a nuisance. "Great, those fires again!" Elric turned to Nina. "You ready to do your superhero thing?"

"It might be, but some one else was able to use my scythe so it might be a matching element type thing since it's based on Unin tech." Nina shrugged, not really understanding the weapons her self.
As they neared town she could see the flash fire. Nina smiled turned to Elric. "You know it." She said reaching into her bag and pulling out large bulky gun. It took both her hands to hold it. "So, think I should just use ice bolts or should I show off in with the scythe?" She asked, holding the gun by it's handle and spinning it some before stopping it with her other hand.

(((You won't believe this, but I've watched that before! I'm waiting on the other 3, can't wait.))) "Do whatever you want, little lady." Elric took his weapons off his back and combined them into the lance form. "I'm going to try to blow away as much of the flames as possible. See you once once it's over." That being said, he jumped high into the air and zipped forward. With his wind magic, he lifted the flames off the ground where they dispersed in the sky.

((Cool! Then you know what it looks like, thank goodness cause it would have been pretty hard to describe))
Nina smiled and ran forward after Elric took off into the air. A handle extends out the side of the gun when Nina pulled the trigger for the first time. She grabs the handle and pulls it back, the gun letting out a lout clacking noise as it was cocked and ready to fire. As Nina approaches the fires her birth mark changes to a light blue and she stops just as she feels the heat. She lifts the gun up and takes aim, pulling the trigger causes the gun to rattle and fire off a white ball of ice magic. Nina pulls the handle back then fires again, aiming for another fire spout. The bullets don't extinguish the flames but they do help to reduce their size. She continues to fire and slowly makes her way forward, bracing her self with each shot so the recoil doesn't knock her over.
