"Jumping requires you to leave the ground by nature, silly!" I say to Mashai'i playfully before gathering up some of the fruits.
"Well we should get these back to camp... which I have no idea in what direction it is..." I say to the two accompanying me.

Silla puts her arm through yours and gently leads you along.

"Oh, right...." I say to Mashai'i's comment, blushing a bit for a brief time. I continue along with Silla's guidance. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of danger we will be facing on this quest. It couldn't have been coincidence that we were choosen now to seek out this ring; some force was at work, and it was dangerous.
"Mashai'i, what exactly are we going to be fighting?" I ask.

Kirino cocks her head do the side, feeling her face warm even more. He's got a point, and she knows that. So she takes a deep breath and then puts her hands by her sides. She stands there awkwardly for a few minutes, before washing up a little more.

"Fighting?" Silla says curiously.
"We...don't know..." Mashai'i replies at length.
You can tell that he knows something, but isn't willing to say anything yet. Perhaps it frightens him?
Kirino:
Jima'ei smiles and does the same, though you know that Spirits don't need to, as they can make dirt and stenches go away instantly.

"Well... my sword's not for show..." I say to Silla's comment before I address Mashai'i.
"Do you have any information at all? You picked me to do a tough quest, so you owe me a bit of intel at least!" I say, at first in a serious voice, though it becomes more playful at the end.

You recognize the tune as a popular song from the Sky Legion, which is always sung alongside the legend of the Yellow Captain, the Original Bearer of the Yellow Ring. However, you begin to wonder why Jima'ei would hum this, since he surely didn't know how you know it.

"We know that it is an ancient force," Mashai'i says. "In fact, it feels like it did before the Night Eternal. The calm before the storm, as they say."

Kirino turns to face Jima'ei, "That song... How do you know it?" She looks at him, puzzled.

"Pretty lofty, though..." Silla mutters.
"Well, you have to think," Mashai'i says, "neither she nor the Green Duelist asked for my Ring. I chose them both."
"Yeah, well, he didn't die happily, did he?"
"..."
You can't help but be worried at this.
Manra:
Rai'o comes over to you and sits down.
"Enjoying yourself?" he asks.
Kirino:
Jima'ei pauses and thinks.
"Well, the Yellow Captain always hummed it," he replies. "Said he wrote it himself. It is a nice song, isn't it?"
You never knew that the song was written before the Yellow Captain's death, and Jima'ei seems to not realize that it means something to the Sky Legion.

As Maxwell continued to search for Moriah, he knew that it would be easiest for him to use his new abilities to search for her. So he used the ring to extend the surrounding darkness to search for her. He gathered the surrounding darknesd energies togetjer and then sent it out in a network fashion,to get a good location placement from her and himself.
