I`ll paint you mornings of gold, I`ll spin you valentine evenings, though we`re strangers till now, we`re choosing the path between the stars. I`ll leave my love between the stars.
Adrian was kind of shocked- since when did Patrick not listen to his every word? Since meeting this- woman? "Women are confusing creatures." he said with a shrug.
Taranieth giggled. "You can't really think that- women are not so very different from men." As the pain sweeps through, Makes no sense for you, Every thrill he's caused, doesn't seem much fun at all. But I'll be there for you As the world falls down.

Love you though I may... Patrick frowned a little, then turned to Taranieth. "Women definitely have some differences to men - some differences make them easier to deal with, others just make them... different. But both men and women are confusing."
He shrugged to both Adrian and 'Siofra', yet his body remained facing 'Siofra' as he did so. "Shall we go?"
...I have several reservations. I refuse to use toys that will make you think of another person: only room for two in our bed at such times. You and Me.

"Eh, humans are confusing in general, then. Yet, understanding seems to be reachable." he said, smiling. Adrian smiled, too, albeit it didn't reach the eyebrows, which remained furrowed in deep thought. Both of them nodded at the idea of going, and so they walked off. Love you though I may... Patrick escorted Taranieth to the place where he would stand as best man, following Adrian as he wasn't exactly certain of where he'd be. "So where am I standing?"

I'm not sure anymore. So if we go to find the parents, who weren't at the house, who do you want to rp? Should one of the women try and drag 'Siofra' away? Can't remember how it was going to look like Patrick wasn't over Adrian fully, so Taran would start the test...

((I'm feeling like you should set them up to timeskip to the wedding, and feel free to tug Ranni along like a plush toy behind you- as in, just assum he isn't going to put up any fights.
Then I'll to reactions to some of that.
Oooh- maybe he can sneak out for some reason the night of the wedding, and Adrian will be drunk and all over him, so he'll smell like alcohol and sex when he gets back. All this after Ranni having a chat with a suspicious Kee.))

Love you though I may... Patrick introduced Taranieth, disguised as Siofra, to his parents and sisters. He heard from his mother that Emma was ill, so he left Taranieth in the safety of his family while he went to see her in her cot. Taranieth wouldn't hear anything, because his mother had moved them quite a way away - she wouldn't accept charity, not even in the form of Patrick's fiance taking Emma in for a few weeks.
Of course, the moment he heard it, he had to go and see Emma for himself. Alone. When he arrived his sister was with a nanny, and awake. He explained whoowhe was and then picked up Emma to make sure for himself how she was. Emma didn't look too poorly when he saw her, so he relaxed a tiny bit: she was her usual bouncy self, happy to see him and disappointed about the kittens.
So he went back to 'Siofra' and his family until it was time to take his place as Best Man in the wedding. He started off listening to the words the minister spoke, but his mind wandered easily until he zoned out.
He was still worried about Emma: she might not seem so ill now, but if she was then he needed to be the one to look after her. The family couldn't afford the nanny for long, and each member of the family was always busy keeping themselves fed. But if he took her away, what would happen to her? Taranieth wouldn't let her stay with them for just a few nights anymore than he'd let Patrick go to stay home with her until she was better.
He frowned as a headache started to form in the centre of his forehead. Just as he put up a hand to rub at it, the minister said the part about the rings. Patrick changed the direction of his hand to go to his pocket and realised, too late, that it would appear to everyone else as though he had been staring at Adrian. Staring at Adrian for a very long time, complete with a troubled expression.
With a sigh that ended on a grunt of pain - the headache was getting worse - he finally handed over the rings, rubbing at his face the moment they were out of his hands. The headache reached migraine proportions, making his eyes water. Again, all of this looked very suspicious at such an occasion - to Patrick's misfortune.
Once the wedding was over, he clapped Adrian on the back and then swiftly exited: he was going straight back to see his sister and catch a nap in his old room. He managed to slip past everyone because he was unable to deal with anyone with such a headache, even though he knew that Taran wouldn't understand. Wouldn't know where he'd gone. But at least Adrian would be in the thick of things...
Patrick woke up from his two-and-a-half-hour nap, feeling groggy but aware he couldn't stay here for another few hours. His headache had abated a little, so he looked in on Emma, who was asleep but a little unsettled. He kissed her head and then silently left the house.
As he got close to Adrian's former house, Adrian collided with him...

Never was interested...... Now it's too late. Adrian was drunk, and he'd just finished consummating the marriage, so of course, the first thing he did was slump onto Patrick's shoulder.
He pushed Patrick to the nearest house wall, mumbling about treason, deserting, and dogs.
And with surprising force, kissed him, enough to bruise his lips.
"Awwl mine..." he drawled.

Keegan had been talking to Taranieth, trying to get him to just do the test already rather than dither about and wait for an excuse to explain it all away again.
And Taranieth had been faltering, his arguments weak against the fact that he couldn't say for certain Patrick was over him. He couldn't be sure he was immune to the man's charms, questionable as they were. As the pain sweeps through, Makes no sense for you, Every thrill he's caused, doesn't seem much fun at all. But I'll be there for you As the world falls down.

Love you though I may... Patrick had been in a world of his own, trying to think of a way to look after his little sister that wouldn't hurt anybody. Automatically he supported Adrian's weight, used to helping the other man home when drunk. He'd just opened his mouth to say something when Adrian kissed him hard, somehow making his headache pain go away as his lips started stinging.
"W-what? Adrian, Gabby's that way - back inside the house, or behind those bushes. Owww... and what do you mean, 'mine'?"
The words were what he wanted to say, what actually came from his mouth. However, his mind was spinning between trying to sort out Emma's situation and reeling at the idea that he'd liked Adrian's kiss... in the sense that he wanted Taran to kiss him like that.
He smiled softly. If Taranieth did it, I don't think I'd notice that it hurts. But he'll have to be careful: Emma and any children of ours can't notice that one daddy is being hurt by the other daddy!

Never was interested...... Now it's too late. Gabby, wrapped in a bathrobe and looking thoroughly mussed, opened the door and somehow got Adrian to follow her, barely acknowledging Patrick as she glared at her husband. There was going to be a lot of talking in the morning.
But it was too late. Patrick's clothing was mussed, his lips were kiss-swollen, his hair was in a tangle from napping earlier, he smelled of sex and booze, concentrated on his mouth no less, and it didn't look good at all.
