don't need to recite jutsu names out loud.
2x damage and +2 rank when working as a team (with bugs)
----------------------------- Nagisa withdrew her bugs, and dropped to a sitting position. I wouldnt stand a chance right now anyways. he knows my genjutsu well... she looked at Sora. In the end, a fight right now would end poorly for everyone... with a sigh, she said aloud. "next time you attack me, i won't stop." How many times would he get away with such betrayal? calm down. if you aren't going to fight, is it really right to think such hatefull thoughts? She gave in. "so...umm...I'll give the truce a try..." ----------------------------- ((ooc: Nagisa is sooo angry!!! stop attacking her! lol. she wants to kill him. Gotta take advantage of Sora...Also, Jeremy isn't some weird split personality. just wanted to clear that up.))

Sora let out a sigh, The last thing she wanted to see was a fight between two of her friends, which reminded her. "Hey," the girl asked Arcus, "You asked me before who I was. Don't you recognize me? Remember? We trained together with Gentou-sensei."

Genin -------------- Arcus slid his kunai back into his holster. He was getting tired of drawing kunai at every upstart, but nobody in his family really used many weapons, so he was forced to deal. He slowly drew his hands back to tie his hair, much to the dismay of the bugs that were nesting there. They flew out, landing on his arms and shoulders, complaining loudly in his ear. He was ignoring them so he could think back to when he'd been training with the teacher. Actually, now that I think about it, there 'was' a loud, hyperactive little girl there. Maybe this was that one. He pondered it as he finished tying. Your name is...S...Sora....right? He asked uncertainly. He would hate to get the name wrong. That would be very embarrassing. He was pretty sure he was right however. He knelt down to look at her. So, little one. Why on earth would you want to be a shinobi? The lives of shinobi are filled with difficulty, pain and death. That isn't the kind of life you want is it? He would've paused and let her answer, but another question suddenly popped into his head. What's your edge anyway? Our village has a lot of enemies. What can you do that would keep you alive? The Raikage has a sharingan. Me and....he silently berate himself for not remembering the Aburame girl's name. my friend have destructive insects. He gestured to his arms and shoulders where most of the beetles were jumping up and down on his body. He silently made them all climb up his sleeves and into his body. If I need them, they'll know it. he thought as he continued speaking. what do 'you' have? he finished, looking into her blue eyes. ----------------- ((ooc: )) Chakra 21/25

((lol, this will be difficult...i think the most we are going to get is a love-hate type relationship with our aburame. though i may be proven wrong.))
Nagisa's eye twitched briefly. "Na-gi-sa..." is going to hurt you she managed to keep that last bit from leaving her tongue. she turned to Sora and smiled. "ÿou know trai- Arcus, you don't need a 'special skill' to become a remarkable ninja." She reached out, offering to shake Sora's hand. "And she is a ninja now, it's rude to question her choice."
she rolled out her scroll again and, while keeping an eye on Arcus, looked for a new jutsu to learn.

Genin -------------- Arcus sighed. It's always a fight with this one. He thought, slightly annoyed. His ears twitched because he'd heard her about to call him a traitor. He ignored it. He was going to be called names his whole life. His only friends 'were' creepy and and lived in his body after all. He didn't take his eyes of the little girl has he responded. Well, Nagasi-san. I disagree. A ninja is only as good as what they can do. Shinobi are tools. The strongest country is the country whose tool have the best features. Wits and know how will get you far, but they will eventually get you killed in this life. He knew he sounded sort of harsh, but it was what he believed. He just lucked out in that he was part of the greatest clan in the world. Nobody beat an Aburame; except another Aburame. He finally did turn and smile at Nagasi. He let her get a glimpse of his silver eyes glinting behind his glasses before he pushed them close to his face. Sorry, thats just how it is in this world. He finished, looking back at the little girl ----------------- ((ooc: I'm not really sure what you mean by a love-hate thing. My character isn't really that aware of girls 'as girls'. He hit puberty and sort of just ignored it. )) Chakra 21/25

Sora, meanwhile, was off in her own little world as she shook Nagisa's hand. She was trying to figure out how she could answer her question and was also dealing with the usual mix of fear and worry that filled her whenever she thought about the Rokubi. "Well," the girl finally answered with a multitude of hesitant pauses after she finished shaking hands, "I'm from a civilian family so I really don't know what I can bring to the battlefield. I'm pretty fast in both mind and body but I'm also really clumsy. Ermm.... I'm also really good at hide-and-go-seek as well if that helps at all. As for why I decided to become a shinobi, I'm not really sure. It seemed pretty interesting. Besides, I want to protect everyone in my village."

Nagisa growled. "are you trying to piss me off lapdog?" It seemed an appropriate nickname for someone so bloody obedient. She continued to look through the scroll. "Raimei Wana Fuu" it didn't doun like a very useful move for normal combat, but it would be very useful in a defensive situation. She slowly went through the handseals, they were quite a few for this one. She focused her chakra as best she could, and poured it into a nearby rock "raimei wana fuu" it was fun to say if nothing else. the rock briefly glowed, and then it looked like normal. she then picked it up, but dropped it when a large booming thunder roared. "wow, that was easy!"

Genin -------------- Arcus was trying to stay in a good mood, but this girl was making it very difficult. He figured he'd get the little one started before rounding on to the older, more annoying girl. He released his bugs once more, because he didn't feel like jumping to go get his academy and Doton scrolls. Several hundred of the bugs flew over the mud moat, which was starting to dry, and worked together to pick up each scroll and fly it back over to him. He caught them lazily as he pondered the child's words. She seemed quite unsure of herself. She kept pausing and weighing her words, as if she wanted to be careful not to say something important. Intel and assassination were the fields he was most gifted in, but he felt it would be wrong to attempt to get hidden information from such a child. He handed her the Academy genjutsu scroll. Here, read through this. I'm not sure if your reasons for being a shinobi are very good, but It'll be a cold day in hell before I let someone die for trying to protect the village. Tell me when you're ready to practice the jutsu in here. He stood up and looked at the Aburame girl Not Aburame girl....Nagasi...wait...Nagasaki....dammit. Nagisa...whatever. He thought as he looked her over. She would've been cool if she wasn't so irritating. Look, there's no need for name calling. I said i was sorry multiple times already. I was under orders. She said fight, thats what I did. It wasn't personal. Also, I wouldn't go around talking about how pissed off I am, if I were you. Not if the most you can do about it is blow up rocks. He gestured to the rock she'd dropped on the ground. Was that supposed to scare somebody? We live in the Village Hidden in the Clouds. It thunders all the time! His bugs were returning and landed along his arms. A single black line stretched from one finger, up his shoulders and down to the same finger on the other hand. He tossed her the academy taijutsu scroll he'd picked up at the library. I didn't check that one much, but I think there is kick in there you can learn. Try it out. He couldn't figure out why he was still bothering with this girl. His task was to learn Doton Jutsu. Academy and genin. He opened the scroll he'd gotten and looked over it, trying to find one that would occupy his time. A cloaked man would enter the area with the Kikaichu Bugs floating around his body. He noticed the Aburame children training and saw it as his duty as a Clansmate and Jounin of the Village to train them. The man walked near them and motioned for them to approach him.

Nagisa calmed her voice "you know, it might not be such a hot idea to think you are better 'n me." If she hadn't under-estimated his sense of duty she wouldnt have basically given herself up to him. He'd have done nothing more than chase her shadow and she would have found a better way to attack him. She wouldnt make the same mistake twice. He of course didn't know she had ever had the upper hand though.
She stood up and approached the new cloaked figure. She had seen him once before, talking with her parents, but didn't know much except he was (obviously) Aburame. If he was in the training grounds, maybe she would get lucky, and get some training.

Unlike Arcus, Sora had started at the sound of the thundering rock. "E-eh?!" the girl looked over at the direction it was coming from, seeing Nagisa, "O-oh...." She could guess by then that it was the alarm genjutsu she had worked on not too long ago with Gentou-sensei.
Looking through the scrolls that Arcus had given her, Sora quietly picked at the remaining academy-level jutsus that she had yet to learn.

Henge No Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
Description: A user of this skill has the ability to transform their outer appearance to that of another form, which can be a person or object. However, due to the physical restrictions on the body, the user cannot transform into anything extremely smaller or larger than what they already are. Therefore one could not transform into a shuriken or a small animal. Neither can the user transform into an enlarged or distented form of anything (therefore no such thing as a small human-sized adult elephant, or a human-sized ant). Therefore the user must always be within the same proportions as the original form of the object. Also, the user does not gain any extra physical ability through Henge. (i.e. transforming into a cheetah will not give you a cheetah's speed) Henge is dispelled when the user is touched in an offensive matter. Thus after the user hits the target in their transformed state they revert.
After memorizing all of the academy-level ninjutsus on the scroll, the girl began to slowly work her way down through the list. The first jutsu was called Henge no jutsu. She had already rested, so her chakra was at maximum and she was pumped up and ready to go. Forming the necessary handsigns, the girl focused on Nagisa and executed the technique, transforming into the older girl easily before immediately dispelling the jutsu to begin work on the next on. Kawarimi No Jutsu (Body Switch Technique)
Description: A common jutsu - used to quickly replace a body with a close by object. Creates confusing among the opponent(s) - creating a chance to escape, or return with a larger strike. Useful for avoiding attacks, and hiding from potential enemies.
Without even having to look at the scroll, Sora performed the needed hand signs for the Substitution jutsu. She would need to basically replace herself with a nearby object to cause a distraction against whoever caught her. It would be a fun and useful jutsu when she played hide-and-go-seek. Performing the technique flawlessly once again, she easily managed to replace herself with a semi-large rock that was nearby. [1/1]

Nawanuke No Jutsu (Rope Untying Technique)
Description: A basic skill that lets the user invest chakra into a rope or chain to push the knot in it in the right way, so it loosens. This is used to escape from a rope binding.
As she walked over to where Arcus and Nagisa were standing, Sora started to tie her hands together with rope. After successfully completing that task, she then proceeded to untying the entire knot with just her chakra. The skill required quite a bit of concentration and took the girl quite a while to untie the knot. The only comforting thought was that if she ever had to untie herse, she'd probably be using her own hands along with her chakra so the process would go faster. [1/1]

Anrokku no Jutsu (Unlocking Technique)
Description: A relatively easy-to-perform jutsu used mostly on stealth missions and when stealing. By concentrating chakra on a basic lock such as a door lock or on a safe, the user can force the mechanism to unlock even without the key or knowing the code. Nothing about the lock will have changed other than it will open once before it locks up again. This skill leaves no signs of tampering.
After depositing her rope back into the pouch, Sora took out a lock that she also happened to be carrying. Hey, it was best to be prepared and who knew when the girl needed a lock? After making sure that the lock was locked, Sora concentrated on the mechanism within the lock. Taking her experience from the rope jutsu, she focused on trying to push the gears within the machine to unlock it. As before, she completed the technique on the first try.
