Ryuji HanshinSmokeshifter | The Death Dealers | Rouge Jounin ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠  Ryuji took a deep breath before standing up. Relaxation time was over. He slung the nodachi over his shoulder, still managing to keep it in one hand, and closed his eyes.
The Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu style was one Ryuji perished most. It held no master as of yet, so Ryuji was technically the most skilled in it. But he too had yet to master the style, something that irritated him greatly. If he was to be a great ninja, he ought to learn how to fight, right? Ryuji sat cross legged on the floor, his nodachi by his side, his eyes closed, his state zen-like. In order to start his training, it was essential for him to meditate. He could imagine the "spirit of the dragon" running through his veins, and soon, his adrenaline was pumping. Merely from meditating. His breathing stayed calm, however, and soon, he was lost in his thoughts about the style, its maneuvers and techniques flowing through his mind all the while.

Ryuji HanshinSmokeshifter | The Death Dealers | Rouge Jounin ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ Ryuji continued meditating, staying in the same spot for a while. His chakra levels could be felt around the training facility, a true testament to his abilities. His body tensed repeatedly, the muscles bulging suddenly, then after a second or two, diluting back to their regular shape. Ryuji, all the while, stayed calm. Meditating with the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu required alot of endurance and patience, but most of all, perseverance. Ryuji's mind continued to scan through all the tactics of the style. Brief images passed through his mind of the former masters of the style, many of whom he had never heard of. From the beginnings of the shinobi world to more recently, many masters, male and female alike, appeared and disappeared, their movements now memorized in Ryuji's head. He opened his eyes, a new light in them. Now, it was time to master the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu.

He performed a few handseals, all of them performed at amazing speeds, before slapping his hand on the ground. The ground started to shake a little, nothing too major. Ryuji slowly pulled his hand up. An object came up from the ground, its shape not yet known. It stood at about Ryuji's height, being roughly his size. With one last seal, the slab of rock changed. Its color changed, from the top to the bottom, and soon, it was gaining the appearance of a human being. a few seconds later, and it started looking like Ryuji. Great heat radiated from the clone, and it stared at Ryuji, waiting for its command. Ryuji tossed it a katana. "You ready?"
The clone nodded at Ryuji before suddenly lunging at him. Ryuji pulled up his nodachi, the sheath pulled out a few inches, allowing his blade to meet his clone's. There was a tense moment of silence before the two jumped back, the clone wielding the katana in the same way Ryuji was his nodachi. In order to master the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, it was essential to defeat it. Heh....so, it begins.

Its defense is incredible, and it's very powerful, but lacks speed. The difference from the normal clone is that this one comes from heated earth, making it's skin almost volcanic and painful to touch. The bunshin can use one Doton jutsu.

Ryuji HanshinSmokeshifter | The Death Dealers | Rouge Jounin ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ Ryuji lifted up his nodachi, which amazingly he was able to wield with one hand, to strike his clone, his sheath in his other hand. The weapon was brought down with amazing speed, the air being cut as the weapon continued towards it target. The clone, seeing it too late to deflect with his katana, brought up his arm to defend. Being made of volcanic earth, the clone held high defense, and this was apparent as the attack landed. The nodachi stuck to the clone, similar to how a sword would stick to a piece of rock. It was rapidly heating up as the volcanic skin made contact with the metal. His eyes widening a bit, Ryuji smirked. His clone was indeed better than he had expected. A true challenge, if he must say so himself. He brought his sheath to the left, swinging it at an arc to hit the clone square in the face. He made contact, luckily, and both of Ryuji's weapons were freed. The clone was sent back a few feet, a slight mark where the scabbard hit him. Rubbing his face, the clone charged at Ryuji once more. The battle was really heating up.

Still, Ryuji was faster. The volcanic clone, although it held defense, had little speed, an advantage to Ryuji. If one were able to observe the battle, they would notice Ryuji gaining the upper hand. As the volcanic clone attempted to strike Ryuji's back, the rouge turned around and brought up his nodachi. The clone stopped, the sword inches away from his throat. Ryuji smirked. "You did good. But, you're still to easy.....I got an idea." Performing some more handseals, Ryuji summoned two more clones, totaling in three enemies. They each looked at each other for a moment. The two new clones grabbed weapons themselves, one a katana while the other a cleaver sword, and the three surrounded Ryuji. Now, this was what he was talking about.
As the clones and Ryuji stood there silently, his chakra was swirling. Not only in his mind, but in his body as well. His senses felt super charged, and he noticed every little thing happening, as if in slow motion. Within a second, Ryuji noticed the muscles of one of the clones, one holding a katana, tensing up. He was going to attack first, no doubt. Wasting no time, Ryuji ran up to the clone. He moved at a speed in which it looked like he teleported, a fact that surprised the clones. The nodachi was brought up to attack, but it was stopped by two katanas. Seemed like the clones were fast, too. Ryuji stood there, fighting off two katanas with his one nodachi, before he realized he had summoned three clones, not two. The one with the cleaver sword was already upon him, his large weapon ready to slash across Ryuji's back. Uh oh.

He let out a huge sigh, but the clones weren't giving him any relieve yet. His brief moment of abeyance allowed the three to reform, the cleaver sword one in the back while the katanas stayed in the front. If Ryuji didn't watch out, these clones were really going to kill him.
Deciding to switch onto the offensive, Ryuji brought his nodachi to his side, ready to swing it at a moment's will. The clones took notice of the movement, probably because they were practicing the same style, something Ryuji grimaced at. It was now or never. Ryuji appeared near the cleaver sword, deeming him the greatest threat, and, with a bit of chakra and a whole lot of technique, he twisted his whole body, the nodachi being swung at the same angle he was. "Ryu-Kan-Sen (Dragon Wind Up Flash)"
There was a brief moment of silence, and while Ryuji wondered if his attack actually landed, he figured it best to leave the vicinity of the clones. Best stay out of their range. Gaining enough distance, Ryuji sighed at the sight before him. All three clones were still standing, the one with the cleaver sword having his weapon drawn to his side, the exact point Ryuji attempted to attack him at. Another failed attack. It was expected, he decided. He was, after all, the best of the best. The two katanas then ran up to Ryuji, and the three began slashing at each other. The clash of metal could be heard throughout the training facility, and Ryuji knew instantly that fighting two clones was much harder than fighting one. A few attacks left cuts and bruises on him as the battle continued. About 5 minutes in, Ryuji left their range, getting out as quickly as possible. The cleaver sword clone, however, caught this, and before Ryuji could do anything else, he was defending himself against a large sword, both longer and broader than his. The nodachi wielded in his hands saved him from a sudden hit, and using all of his power, he drove back the volcanic clone. As his back was turned, however, he noticed that one of the katana clones were tensing up their muscles. Tiring as the battle was, Ryuji had to admit that he enjoyed it. Not only for the thrill of fighting, but also for the abilities gained. He knew as well as his clones that his reflexes were getting better, much better, and if he continued, he would surely master the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu style.

かろなしかぐやろいヴぁす  Let those who face me know.... Karonashi entered the training facility, heading for the nearest Jade that he could see. Hung across his shoulders was the blade that the priestly garbed man had left outside of Sora's room in the hospital. When he reached the figure of Jade, he gripped the longsword and buried the blade into the ground halfway up its length, then leaned against it as he studied the figure. He wasn't sure if it was a clone or the real Jade, but he would take his chances on this Jade being able to instruct him, and take care of the strange foreigner's weapon.
"Lady Kazekage, the business that came up was satisfactorily dealt with. However, a complication arose." He outlined the actions of the man in the hospital room.
"And when he left, he was clutching at his chest. He also forgot this sword, which I brought here due to his familiarity with you in the hopes that you will know what to do with it. And with that said, i am ready to continue my training in the Desert Fist style or in my Sunaton ninjutsu." The teen stepped away from the weapon and bowed as he finished speaking to the Jade he had oriented on. ...that the Bone King is coming for their lives! The battle had been going on for a while, and even Ryuji had to admit that he was getting tired. Still, he wasn't satisfied with his mastery of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu style. Therefore, it was more training.
The world around Ryuji had become noticeably slower. Or, at least, it seemed slower. Due to his constant need of attentive reflexes, his senses had become super powered in a way. He noticed when someone's heart beat sped up by a half a second. He noticed when someone's eyes were focused on a certain object. He noticed when someone planted their feet in the ground, ready to pounce. He noticed many things others wouldn't, and as he battled his three opponents, Ryuji knew he was getting somewhere. Only a little more. A little more.

"Very well. I shall go see about obtaining housing for myself." He left the longsword planted in the ground in front of Jade, for her to deal with. ...that the Bone King is coming for their lives! Chakra Points: 31 (Academy Level : 25 + Bloodline Modifier +3/10 points)

When you know you can do better, you can't stop at what you've got. Blue eyes watched as the Lady Kazekage went through the hand signs, her own fingers twitching as she ran through the required seals mentally, even as the Kazekage demonstrated the technique by shooting off as a bolt of lightning and bouncing right back. Marlene was, by that time, already going through the hand signs physically, hands weaving through effortlessly and with greater ease than last time due to her having warmed up with the previous jutsu. As she did this, Marlene was also focusing on her chakra, gathering a small amount in her core, focusing it into a controlled shape of a ball; clean and precise.
Marlene's eyes snapped open and her hands ran through the signs from start to finish, the jutsu drawing on her chakra and she was compressed and morphed into a bolt of chakra. Marlene flew backwards, sailing through the air, impacting a wall and bouncing back. She was a few steps short of where she started before she canceled the jutsu, leaving her standing there, her feet slightly apart from usual, and a hand holding her shoulder.
"Slightly... disorientating." Marlene spoke, blue eyes focusing slowly before she stood back up to her full height and took the few steps required to get her back to the original position from which she started. Her head quickly cleared, but she couldn't shake the weird feeling that came with... 'moving' like that. It was certainly interesting.

Ryuji barely escaped his clone's cleaver sword as he ducked, bringing his nodachi around with him. The force of the swing would be enough to sever the legs of any normal human, perhaps even a volcanic clone. However, before he had the chance to connect, the clone with the cleaver sword jumped up, gaining a few inches above the sword. Ryuji, taking this opportunity, jumped back. As he turned around, a katana clone was upon him, and the two started sparring. He was faster, though, which allowed him to gain an edge. As the katana came near his face, Ryuji brought up his nodachi diagonally, blocking the attack. He was driven back by the force, though. Sparks were sent flying towards his face, the clash of the two metals causing such an effect, and having no choice in the matter, Ryuji closed his eyes. For that brief lapse in sight, however, he felt some air currents change around his shoulder. Without thinking, he moved. The katana went past his shoulder, missing it by only a few centimeters, and continued to zip in the air.

Since these were clones, they didn't have nearly as deadly of an effect as it would on humans, but the initial purpose was there. Ryuji was getting better at his aim, even in mid-battle. He smirked as he landed a strike on a clone's shoulder, driving the nodachi straight into the mass of rock. The clone stopped for a second, gazed up at Ryuji, then disappeared. It dispelled after facing such an attack, something that made Ryuji grin even more. His attacks were not only getting faster and more accurate, but they were getting stronger too.

It was time to kick this up a few gears. He disappeared as he so often did, a cloud of smoke replacing him. In all actuality, he had just moved at an amazing speed, a speed powerful enough to kick up dust. His eyes stayed alert as he dashed towards the other katana one. The nodachi, too large to swing at such a speed, stayed on his shoulder, his fist outstretched. The Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu style required adaption as well as swordplay.
As Ryuji punched his clone, he felt his knuckles rapidly heat up. s**t, i forgot. They're volcanic clones. Ryuji stood there a moment, his hand in pain, his senses alert, but his legs not moving. The clone glanced down at Ryuji, grinned, then swung his katana. Ryuji, however, disappeared again, appearing a few feet away from his former spot. He breathed heavily as he took a moment of rest. The two clones didn't seem to be making any offensive moves, which was good, or a least Ryuji thought. He sighed. This battle had been going on for too long, and as far as he was concerned, he had learned enough. However, there was one more thing he had to do before he could truly say he had mastered the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu style.

"Well, you two, it has been a great battle. Although, its time that i end it." The clones looked at Ryuji a moment, a look of confusion of their faces, but they quickly regained their composure. Intimidation won't work on them.
Ryuji took a stance with his nodachi at his side, his other hand ready to draw. His eyes moved from either clone, noting everything from their feet to their breath. He needed to time this correctly, especially against those two. The group stayed completely still, no one moving an inch until the time was right. Then, a shuffle. Ryuji's eyes hurried over to the cleaver sword clone, and he grinned. The muscles in the leg were tensing up, and although it took no longer than a second to happen, Ryuji was much faster than a second. His right leg in front of his left, Ryuji twisted with the waist, sending his nodachi swinging. The blade was long enough to reach both clones, something that benefited Ryuji. The power and timing of his attack couldn't have been more perfect. The nodachi went through both their midsections, sending their upper bodies apart from their lower before the two dissipated in clouds of smoke.
Ryuji took a moment to breathe. The battle was harsh, very, but he had succeeded his goal. He had defeated three other practitioners of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu style and his skill in it had increased greatly, at least to him. Yep, the mission was accomplished.
11/11Jutsu Performed: Quote: Battoujutsu (Instant Sword Draw): To use this technique the user must place the right leg in front of the left leg to avoid cutting your own leg. This is an instant draw technique, ussually used for countering, since the user does not move from his spot. In a stance form and waiting for an opponent with the correct timing, a powerful swing with the twist of waist. This technique is extremely lethal and difficult to dodge unless the opponent has great reaction skills. Stage Learned: Quote: The final stage of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu can only be taught by the Master of this style, and teaching it to the pupil will mean almost certain death to the Master, which is the reason why there has never been more than one master of this style at a time. At this point, the practioner's reflexes are so extraordinary that the user's body moves even before the target moves their muscles. The user can force a large amount of chakra out their limbs, their hands move fast enough to confuse the enemy by making twices as many hand signs in half the time. Also by using this same concept, the practioner can move at such speeds, that the user simply dissapears from sight. Only the most experienced of sharingan are able to follow this individuals movement.

He had worked on taijutsu enough for now, and although he still had two techniques to learn before he could truly call himself a master, he knew it was time to move on. Actually, there was something he wanted to try out. Making people fall asleep with a genjutsu. A jutsu Ryuji had heard of before, but never got the chance to try until now. So, concentrating, Ryuji got ready.

Ryuji imagined the chakra system in his mind, the flow, the amount, the points. All of it was a crystal clear image, something Ryuji had to grin at. Still, he had to remain focused. The point at which he released his chakra stayed clear in his mind. In order to perform genjutsu, chakra control was necessary, and knowing your chakra was key to chakra control. However, if Ryuji tried hard enough, he could choose how to cast his genjutsu and, more specifically, learn how to make people fall asleep.

Ryuji took a deep breath and concentrated. He needed to release the genjutsu chakra points in order to see if he had completed the jutus correctly. simple, right? A tiny bit of sweat rained down from his forehead, whether it be from the taijutsu training or concentrating Ryuji didn't know. Still, he ignored the perspiration and got back to the task at hand. Only a little more....a little more....and there! Ryuji felt the chakra flooding freely through his body, signifying the completion of the task. He was now able to make someone fall asleep.
3/3Jutsu Learned Quote: Nemuri (Sleep) A genjutsu technique where the ninja places their hand on their target's shoulder and forces them into a deep slumber. A useful technique when subterfuge is involved with a mission, but utterly useless in combat.
