[Kellan Feredir]

{...}

[Traverse Town: Inn]

The male let out a whoosh of breath before turning a page and scribbling out another line, which he showed with a still serious face.

Neither, she's a bounty for leading a rebellion. That's all.

Kellan's thoughts already came to a conclusion. This little man would not be helpful. At least at the moment. He needed knowledge about this girl, which he had none of. And this job was going to get annoying, fast, if he didn't get anything.

With his hair and eyes shifting slowly to that yellowish-orange of irritation, he scribbled a Thanks for your time., flashed it to the short man, then turned away, looking to the other people entering the lobby. And boy, there were a few, and most looked young and armed.

Which made the male frown slightly, eyes and hair shifting to a bright blue before changing to the normal brown his features used to be before the curse, and his neutral color. No need to have people watch his hair and eyes randomly change color. Some people would stare at them, mesmerized. That was annoying.

He walked up to the group of people(Sory, Suzu, Thales, Moggie, etc.) and his frown went back to being neutral and gruff as he flashed his original message to them.

Do you have any information of a teenage girl by the name of Haruko?

~Rasxa~

Life is an Illusion, Therefore, We all Believe the Same Lie

~Traverse Town--> First District~

Leaning and staring out across the plaza watching people go back and forth wasn't very entertaining to Rasxa. He was get impatiently bored but he had no clue of what to do. What am I waiting for anyway? A Heartless invasion? They already have those, except not in the First District. He sighed, tracing a pattern into the stones of the ground. More people were starting to walk by now, it was getting to the point that it was almost overcrowded, but that was Traverse Town and the First District and anybody who's ever lived there for a while knows when it gets extremely crowded.

{A heart shed for power is the only heart of worth.}

[Castle Oblivion : Kitchen]

Vereor wordlessly began to pour Fal'Navi's tea, all the while mentally relaying the main ideas of what he'd said before hand. Some of the other members responded to his explanation, and he waited for them to finish, even a moment longer, before speaking up.

"There's nothing particularly important about them, specifically. Only that they will be within distance to... attract to the planet," he explained, taking the chance to refill his own tea cup. "We could simply infect the worlds with Darkness under a veil of secrecy, but the Superior feels it would be better if word of our existence spread. How better to inspire fear than the accounts of eye-witnesses?"

"Of course, such a show would inevitably draw the attention of staunch defenders of Light, but," he continued, a small smile playing on his pale features. "As they lack the Keys to the Kingdom, we have nothing to fear except a careless mistake on our own parts."

{Don't fear the dark... fear what's in it.}

[Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle]

Zekvyr was expecting the room to be far less furnished. Out of all the castle he had explored thus far, this one room actually looked like a comfortable, livable room. There was a richly colored rug covering nearly the entire floor, and candles fixed to the wall. The light they cast was green, and an overall feeling of darkness permeated the area, especially around the books.

Over in the corner, removed from all other objects, were three spinning wheels.

"There," Zekvyr said, bringing Nymira out of her books as he nodded in the direction of the corner. "What do you sense from those?"

[Nymira]

{Life, death, it does not matter. All that matters is that they are mine.}

[Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle]

Nymira, old book set down and new book in hand, looked up, her eyes slightly vacant as she looked towards the spinning wheels. Which, according to her eyes, feelings, and powers, were absolutely normal spinning wheels.

"Nothing. They are normal and unaffected by magicks. Though, I'm not surprised. Most curses are placed on a person, rather than an object, unless set as a trap for a specific person. But even then, it's usually set on a person, not an object. 'Cursed' objects, like one that burns those that touch it that aren't the rightful owner, are not usually curses, but just protective magicks, be they white or black in origin."

With a sigh, she looked back at the book in her hand. "But you more than likely do not care. Either way, whatever curse you are looking for, it is not on those spinning wheels."

One wonders what a drow could be doing, looking for a curse on a spinning wheel. I wonder just what kind of curse he is looking for. And she delved back into the book, supposing that one book would tell her just that.

Zombies started shambling in, and as she looked through books, some got tossed aside, others got placed in the arms of the zombies. As if she would carry her own books when she had such faithful minions to do it.

[Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle]

Zekvyr stood over the spinning wheels, hand hovering over the surface of one of them, but not touching it.

"I wonder if you'd be willing to help me with an experiment," he said, and as he turned around the look in his eyes suggested that she would help whether she wanted to or not. It was a cold look, a carefully controlled and emotionless look that, in itself, gave away an emotion. It was a murderer's look.

He carefully removed the needles from each wheel, and Nymira might note he was careful not to touch them himself.

"If they're harmless, you wouldn't object to being pricked," he said, once again in the same tone. He approached her.

[Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle]

The elf rolled her eyes, tossing her latest book on the floor after deeming it useless. Of course, the drow wouldn't trust her own opinion. Really, she knew her dark magicks. He obviously didn't.

She walked over, grabbed the needle from him, and quickly pricked her own finger, showing him the blood that orbed on the tip of her pointer finger. "There, are you happy? There is no curse on these spinning wheels." Of course, she would not waste the blood, and wiped it on the ground, whispering in an old, dead language.

A small circle appeared on the floor, and a small, winged imp, black and red, naked as one can be, crawled out of the circle, flying around Nymira's head before resting on her shoulder and nuzzling her cheek.

Of course, there was no longer a hole in her finger, either, the energies of decay and evil around her already healing her needle wound. Not that she cared, for she was already back into the books and going through them more after tossing the needle back at the drow.

~Rasxa~

Life is an Illusion, Therefore, We all Believe the Same Lie

~Traverse Town--> First District-->Cafe~

Getting bored, Rasxa pushed off from the streetlight that he had been leaning against and made his way over to the cafe. He slipped in unnoticed by many, noticed by and written off by a few. He made his way calmly to an empty table where he proceeded to sit down and alert the waitress of his presence. It took a while for the waitress to get over to him, she was preoccupied with the other patrons of the cafe. Rasxa looked around as he waited for the waitress and his eye caught on the form of an armored man (Core) who had multiple swords on him. Eyeballing the swords, he thought, Boy, I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alleyway. To be able to wield that many swords, or to at least carry that many swords denotes that he has the skill to use every single one of them. The waitress interrupted his thoughts with an impatient, "Sir, I would like to take your order now, please." Rasxa's head snapped around to her and he glared while saying, "Miss, all I want is some tea." The waitress nodded, scribbling down the order without noticing the dangerously angry tone. "Whatever. You'll have to wait twenty minutes for it." She said, making to move away from the table. "I'll hold you to that. If its even a minute late, you aren't getting a tip." He said in grumbling undertones as he waited by counting the actual minutes.

Zekvyr caught the needle, and crushed it in his hand.

"You act like a drow priestess, and yet you are a fairy," he said, "Tell me, my lighter skinned cousin, what makes one such as you? Why aren't you frolicking through the woods, listening to the birds, and masturbating to their songs? What caused you to turn to the undead for satisfaction?"

{Life, death, it does not matter. All that matters is that they are mine.}

[Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle]

Another book was put on a small stack in one of the zombie's arms, another book replacing it in her hands.

"Ah, the age-old question. Why would and elf do that? Which is what I am, by the way. Fairies are a different creature, entirely, though I'm sure you aren't ignorant enough to not know that." Tossing the book away to the floor(for she could do naught with fire-based magic), she looked at the male, crossing her arms under her breasts and smiled. "As for your question? Wouldn't you like to know."

[Enchanted Dominion: Maleficent's Castle]

A rare smirk appeared on Zekvyr's face. "Too traumatic?" he quipped. He continued without waiting for a response. "There's a great deal more power than what necromancy has to offer. But I'm sure you aren't ignorant enough not to know that."

Red lightning. The woman had more than one method of attack already, but how far was she willing to go, he wondered. Regardless, it would appear obvious to Nymira that he might be offering her something. Or just insulting her. But which one?

Nymira turned back to her task of going through the books, smile gone, hands skillfully turning pages as she became even more bored with the drow.

"So, are you done with your wordplay or not? I tire of sparring with you, as you bore me. Just say what you mean and want so we can be done with it."

~.~Thales~.~

”You can bend it and twist it… You can misuse and abuse it…
But even the gods cannot change the Truth.”

[Traverse Town ~.~ Traverse Town Inn ~.~ Hallway]

"Oh, hello there again, uh... Was it Mog?" Thales said, smiling as he patted the moogle on the head. "Are you feeling any better today?"

Just then, he felt the cool breeze coming from inside his room through the open balcony door, causing him to shiver. He then realized in his rush to get of his room and confront the group from last night, he had forgotten to put on something more... appropriate. His cheeks flared from embarrassment as he awkwardly tried to cover up his mid-torso with his arms. "Erm... This is awkward..."

[Shade : Castle Oblivion : Kitchen]

Shade silently stood against one of the walls as the 'leader' discussed the plans for the group for the day. She had no intention of sitting with them, but might as well listen in. Shade wasn't part of their collective, and didn't know of half of what this man spoke of, but her curiosity was building while he spoke. To the point her eyes started to narrow to a dark green line. This was growing to be more fruitful than she thought.

"You're plans seem devious," the ninja spoke in a chilled voice from her resting place against the wall, "I can't help, but wonder, what your plans for me, a complete outsider are."

Fal'navi

[Castle Oblivion :: Kitchen]

Fal'navi gave Vereor a small nod as his tea was poured. He took a deep breath in, taking the scent of the paopu leaves that made up the warm concoction. With a tight grip from his gauntlet, he took a sip from the cup then placed it back down.

"Vereor, pardon my interruption, but what are these 'Keys to the Kingdom' you mention? And could they possibly acquire them?"
