I high fived Vincen't and sat down next to him. "Alright, I want to know whats been happening, I've been out of the picture for like, two days and I'm already hearing about a king and losing your powers. Oh, and if you try to make us leave, I'll cut you. The playing field is finally level haha!"

"You almost nearly killed me." He adds. "But, that point aside, I can still bite you!" Vertusk shows his fangs, which had yet to retract.. "Yuki, they are nothing but a bunch of assholes." He eyes them. "But, should we be going, you know, we have stuff to do?"

I stuck my tongue out at Yuki's glaring and stood up after they left the room. "So where is this place anyway?" I looked out onto a balcony and saw everything looked darker than it would usually. "Well I don't like it here....Mind if you opena portal fo-..." I had just turned around to see Vincent was already gone. "Awesome...." I looked around again and started heading for the door.

Yuki shook her head in annoyance and sighed," Sweetie if you need to take care of business with him go ahaed, I'll be fine talking to the black mage alone." Yuki tured and lowered her head."I think its best too since this has to do with you and your title. Lowering her head even more she thought to herself, Vertusk was indeed king but as this he need to endure one more challenge which Yuki hoped he wouldn't look over the risk.

The two walk down on a dim path glowing from the red candles on the path. The air grew murky and cold with the sounds of the bog creatures making noises never heared before. "I know this may be tough to ask but I think you need to know the dark side of being king. She stops where she standed and turned Vertusk toward her. "You see my moon on my forehead- moves her bangs- Since this is the mark of the family and you're now part of the family, you'll get this too." Looking at him he showed a face of confusion."Since you wern't born with this you'll have to see the mage and endure the spell she cast upon you, I'll be a bit painful but I hope you'll understand."

They walked down the path a few more miles finally arriving at a small black house."Ok we made it this far lets get inside so we don't scare her." Yuki opened the door carefully trying not to make much noise. The room the dark with only one candle lit for light. She walked in signaling Vertusk to follow. "Hello, Agatha, are you in its me Yuki I came as you told me with my husband." Out of no where a crackly voice was heared in the shadows. "My sweet Yuki is that my little black nymph coming to see me." A small frail woman in black and red shawls appeared lighting an oil lamp to take a closer look. "Yuki dear its been so long since I've seen you look at that, youre all grown up, oh, this must the mew man I've heared about." Yuki looked to her and smiled giving Agatha a hug."I've missed you so much Grandma!"

She rolled her eyes and went back to talking,"Grandma, you know what needs to be done the spell of the grim's grasp." Agatha nods and shows them to a table already prepared to begin."Vertusk, being the husband of my grandaughter will mean you must wear the mark of our family." she sits him down and show him a spell on a page."Its quite simple but its a painful experience, I hope you can take it." She looks over to yuki seeing her nodding to begin."Well then, I shall start with the spell chant,Reaper of the underworld I call thee, grasp this man in your hand and burn the seal upon his head." The room slightly shook from the power then a green glow appeared on the page. Slowly it began to crawl its way onto his head him screaming in pain but still enduring. The glow formed into a needle and began to pierce into Vertusk's forehead. Yuki turned her head not wanting to see his pain. Agatha looks to her,"Yuki I know you dont want to see but you too must bear seeing the ritual my dear."
