Richard's brow furrowed but his face soft as he gently hugged Lorey, moving his hands down to her lower back gingerly. "That is something to worry about...trust me there ok?" He said softly, recalling the various occasions he had pulled or sprained something, letting it go un noticed was almost the death of him. Of course Lorey didn't have the same adrenaline paced job he used to have, but it still didn't mean that a hurt back couldn't be serious.

Lorey curled herself into him as he gently prodded her lower back for the sore spot, finding it once she gave a little, pained jump.
"Aha! Yeah, right there... Can you feel the knot?" She knew she should have had a hot pack on it or something, but she was so used to walking it out that it never quite happened.
"We have to move very large arrangements sometimes for weddings into a truck. Guess I lifted something the wrong way."

Richard furrowed his brow, gently kneading at it, but being os so gentle and not too hardfor fear of hurting her too much. "You really should be more careful love...how's that feel?" He asked softly.

"It hurts," she said with a small laugh. "I didn't mean to, though. I think it might have happened when the basket shifted this one time, and I had to catch it real fast before it went tumbling. Saved us three hours of fix up work, though..."
She knew that wasn't a good enough reason to have hurt her back, but with Richard to lean against and his hands to knead away the pain, it wasn't such a bad trade off.

Richard sighed. He could be upset over an accident. He merely stayed silent as he pushed on her bcak a bit more, not feeling as if he were helping that much. "Do you want some heat for it?...or maybe ice? How about an asprin?" he offered, pulling back to look at her,

"I'm alright. I've dealt with worse without anything, and you give nice massages anyhow..."
She was practically falling asleep with her face pressed to his chest and arms tucked in. It was almost like a little safe haven away from the rest of the world, even if there was no threat.
"Like, there was this one time at work way back when I had cut my hand on a broken piece of glass. I bandaged myself up and went on my way until it was healed. See?" Lorey pulled back a little to show him a pale scar on the heel of her right hand. It seemed like nothing to her.

Richard furrowed his brow, taking her hand to look at it. He wasn't sure why, but it bothered him. Not just the scratch but Lorey just getting hurt. If she had physicaly scars he didn't notice, what Emotional ones were lying in the background?

Just from the look on his face, she knew she had said something that didn't help the situation at all. He'd even stopped massaging.
"Richard? Are you alright? ...was it something I said?" Lorey looked up at him as he looked at her hand. There was a lot he didn't know, and wouldn't like about her past jobs, but they were uncomfortable facts that she had to live with, and managed to anyhow.

Richard sighed slightly, looking up into her own worried face, giving her a small smile. "No not at all..." He smiled, shaking his head. "Lets jstu see what we have here to eat ok?" He reached for the basket, pulling out a few things." Richard knew Lorey had a rough past, with her jobs, life, etc...
but all it did was make Richard's drive to make her future so much better, so much stronger. He swore to himself right then and there, that they would get their dream home. He already said they would as if were a fact, but now he was even more driven to make it a reality and soon. It was just a matter of how...

She just shrugged it off. After all, if he wasn't flying into some passionate rage about her past injustices, everything must have been alright.
Lorey took a few strawberries and other bits of fruit, along with some chicken and bottled water. She ate like a bird, people said, but little did they know birds ate as much as they weighed more than once every day.
"Are you going to get your hair cut like your mother wanted you to?" she asked with amusement. "Because I think it looks sexy just like that."

Richard had taken his own bottle of water, taking a sip. WHich he promently choked on when Lorey mentioned his hair. His face was blood red as he smiled goofily. "R-really?" He asked, not used to being reffered to as 'sexy'. "Well I wasn't planning on it, ecspecilly not after that." He laughed. "Though for her sake, I might comb it back for the wedding..." He said thoughtfully,

"If you comb it back, I'll mess it up." Lorey laughed, and went to run her fingers through his hair to bring it back. It reminded her of the pool that one time, with his hair all wet and slicked. It made her smile, too, with a glint in her eye.
"Maybe it's just you, and not your hair..."

Richard blushed brighter red, taking another sip. "Maybe...but i doubt it...." he smiled humbly, reaching for some fruit as well. "I want to say somehitng about you being sexy but...I just cant finda better word than beautiful, or drop dead goregeous to describe you..." He shrugged, popping a strawberry into his mouth.

"Oh, I can call you a whole bunch of things. Like handsome, gentle, big-hearted, wonderful. You have kind eyes, and really, really nice hair." Lorey gave him a peck on his red cheek. There was always a certain satisfaction in knowing she could make him blush.

Richard smiled, shaking his head. "Now how am I supposed to top that??" He asked with a laugh as he leaned over, proppingh imself on an elbow as he brought her in for a deep, lingering kiss. "You always amaze me..."
