After a brief silence, Regina nodded. "Feel better now?"
She smiled some. "There's always a grey side to things. Not all the people in the brotherhood are badasssed like they seem to want to believe. One friend of mine is Noko, who I'm sure you've met before. We as x-men, aren't necessarily bad people. The only difference between the groups, are the beliefs." she continued, starting the car again and continuing to the house. "There are ways to communcate with them, believe it or not. Since noko is a friend of mine, I have her cell number. Should you want to get in touch, just let me know and I"ll hand my cell on over to you. By the way, you won't rot at the mansion. We've got some pretty nice priviledges, like allowence, the permission to use the cars when we want, if we have a lisence.... and a pretty lose schedule. My favorite thing, is the mansion has training rooms to work on our powers."
She let it all digest into Victoria's mind before it exploded.

damn is ther anything good! scream he thought as he went the the front doors, as soon as he got outside he reclined on the short plant bed wall hoping to meet people. if im staying here i got to get some friend some how neutral .cretates a fighting scene in his hand

Victoria took a deep breath, releived to have it all off her chest and that Regina was angry at her anymore.
"Yeah," she agreed, nodding her head, "I feel loads better now. And it's not like the X-mansion isn't trashy or anything, in fact, it's in far better condition in the Brotherhood base and far less noisy. It's just that," she paused to find the right words, " I alway feel so out of place there, like someone is constantly lurking over my shoulder waiting for me to do something wrong. The Brotherhood on the other hand could care less really, as long as you don't anything overly stupid then you're welcome to stay." Pausing, she thought about what Regina said about borrowing her phone, "I think I will take you up on your offer later on, but first, lets watch a movie." She smiled at Regina and laughed alittle bit, happy that her head was still in one peice.

Regina grinned and laughed. "You look like I was gonna blast you away just for telling me all that. Something you need to know about me, I'm not easy to get mad. And something you need to know about the mansion, is that typically there is always someone watching. There are telepaths here but it doesn't mean they purposefully listen in on your thoughts. Right now, we're all learning our limits and sometimes we can't control the extent of it. But we're not strict on the rules either. The only big one is that youy don't explode the mansion if at all possible."
She grinned again and paused as they pulled up the drive. Someone was reclining in the planter near the front door. "Looks like we have another person to meet and greet... I've never seen him here before though."

"Well lets see I've known you for.." Victoria smiled and looked at her imaginary watch before contiuing, "..a whole afternoon. That's not really enough time for me to tell if you're going to strangle me when provoked or not."
Victoria's attention shifted again as they drove up the X-mansions winding driveway and noticed an unknown vistor on their lawn. "Whoa, fresh meat," she joked, kinda eager to mess with the new kid a little bit."

Sensitive ears picked up Regina's curious comment. A smooth, mellow voice of many years spoke inside the mutant woman's head.
'Anything about the mansion? Hmph. I doubt it. Still, Xavier being the spineless peacenik I expect, his students may be more in-tune.'
The innocent-looking young femme clasped her handbag closed, and proceeded to click her nails on it's lizard-looking skin as she followed Regina, her newest 'case'.

he sits up to greet the in the van. i hope the don't think im weird neutral ...then again everybody here could be consered werid neutral ...so why should i care... cool

James spotted the van coming up the drive as he came out. He also spotted the other person standing there watching it as well. "Good afternoon." He said to the person with a nod.

Regina parked the jeep and got out at about the same moment as Victoria. She waved to the two new boys now. It seemed the institute was populating again.
"Well hello." she started, walking over. "My name is Regina Colt, and this is Victoria. I'm one of the advisors here at the institute. I didn't get any notice on you two arriving, so how about we do some introductions inside? It's a bit warm out today."
(forgive me for the short post, i'm tired and work a 12 hour day tomorrow. g'night!)

He nodded his head and stepped aside so that they could enter. "Not surprising." He said in reference to the fact that they weren't expecting him. "Ladies first." He said holding the door for them.

"I've learned not to expect a lot of things." Regina said with a bit of an uneasy smile. She heard the voice in her head and kept it to herself. She didn't want to spook any of the students. That, and she was use to it from the Professor. She wasn't thrilled with the little monologue in her head, and she looked around them as she headed inside the mansion for the owner of the telepathic message.

Victoria stepped out the jeep as Regina did and was mildly surprised to find that there was not one, but two new kids standing outside. Both of them looked somewhat pathetic. She smiled weakly and waved as Regina introduced the two of them. The teen didn't both to say anything about her self as the group entered the mansion. Hey, I'm Victoria and I really hate this place, is not the best way to greet the fresh meat...er new students.
