"The quickest way is a short period of intense prayer" -Kratos said with a sigh, pushing those locks out of his eyes and saying- "But mana has no effect on my fatigue. It was a long trip from Bryn Mawr to here." -He said as he looked up at her, noticing that the two of them were curious of the others system of energy.- I assume when your low on Ki, you feel sluggish...yes?

She made a face at the mention of prayer, she's been having difficuties with religion lately. She didn't know where Bryn Mawr was so she stuck to the systems"It does other things too, far less pleasent, but that's one of them."

Black_Magestic "Jay?!? A stunt?! How... why would you put everyone in shock like that?!" backing away from him, her sounding alarmed, her words just seemed to flow, "I'm your wife... You.. you know what I have been through! All the pain I have suffered... All the pain you have suffered too takes its path. Being who I am to you, I would only hope that you would know me well enough to have just... "She sighed, her words flustered. "I know that I would let you go for the time you needed to be away. Never, would I hold you back from doing something far more important than scaring the s**t out of everyone." Either she just dropped the basket, or she was just extremely upset with him. "I'm leaving now. Finish your training, I will await your return after I get some sleep." Even thought she had no idea how to get back to the clan, she just upped and walked out of the cave, storming out into where ever she was... Her hands in a knot, her not really being able to believe that he... did that... "Perhaps stunt was the wrong word..." Jay said, commenting to himself as he watched Rayne storm out. His eyes widened as he watched her approach the exit. Quickly he grabbed her hand before she could leave. "Watch your step..." He said softly as he leaned over the edge, looking at the jagged rocks below. "My training will be over soon Rayne, and we can be a family once more..." He said softly into hr ear as he stood back and said "I've trained enough to learn this..." He said as he closed his eyes and focused his mana, feeling it course throughout his body. Suddenly, blood shot out from his back...as pieces of torn skin fell to the ground. He gave a cry of pain as two blood-stained wings emerged from his back. He gave them a flap and then said "I'll escort you back to the castle if you want me to..."

"It makes you feel hungry when you've just eaten, and immensly tired and horny at the same time. A horrible combination when you have to gear up for battle again." She brought more of the trunk down for him to rest on, watching him "where is your home?"

Yes, it wsan't one fault, sometimes you had to slay. "Avalon, but it's a dead place and holds nothing for me now." she reached over to touch his shackles "you were imprisioned?"

I see...-He said, commenting on her statement and watching her hand touch his shackles.- By choice. Even though slaying my brother seemed like a feasible idea at the time, I'm afraid conflict could've been avoided. This is my repentance -Kratos said as he raised the shackles and said- And once my penance has been served, I'll be able to remove them. Of course, I'm still a fighter at heart. Not being able to use my hands has driven me to use a kicking-only style of fighting.

Currently I only use my hands for the neccesities of life, like opening doors and such. When in combat, they hold distructive power... -Kratos said, letting his voice trail off and then said- Yes. Do you know of him?

"No. He died before I came here. However" and here her eyes seemed distant for just a second, remebering something "some familiars told me a man was roaming about here that fit his description, I assume he is now a ghoul of some variety." she said evenly.
