Actually that is more of like a Harbor. There is salt in that water, should have a nice effect on wiring, metal, or such.

Don't mind Feuer he's just sinking down into the Harbor to rust, decay, and be pressurized into the size of a small can of some sort perhaps.
Unless he can escape. He'll probably have to now walk along the bottom to get out... if he still can
