Ivy finally found D sitting on the ground and she heard his left hand eating away at the dirt on the ground. Ivy ran over to D and knelt down beside him. When she saw the wound he had healing, she pulled D's hand out of the ground, not caring if either of them got mad at her or not.
"D, I know you hate embracing that part of you, but trust me, the blood from me will help you heal faster, please just drink from me, after that I'll go and you won't have to see or hear from me ever again if you wish me gone."

"I am Mazzaker. That creature you met before calls himself Bloodstorm, and is possibly the strongest so far, out of all of us. He has the power to send people straight to Hell, without judgement from an angel, no matter if it's innocent or not."
Mazzaker cracked his neck, then his knuckles, "It is best if we start moving. He'll come back with more minions. I know a place where we can get supplies for this trip to Hell's Gate Castle."
----------------------------
Daggerfang took a look around. The town was an absolute mess. Some buildings were already destroyed, a few had holes in them because of the explosion that sent the church in splinters, and others were standing on their last leg, ready to fall at any given time. The dhampir had a sinking feeling that he would come back to finish the job, and with stronger henchman.
"He'll be back later to finish us off. Get these people out of this town and somewhere safe. We must move!"
He stopped short when he felt a drop of something wet on his face. The dhampir thought it was blood at first...then more dropped down, and he realized that it was just water. It was raining water. He felt the water literally crystallize on his skin, thin ice sheets covering on contact. If he were to remain out here in an extended period of time without shelter, he'd turn into an ice statue. Blue veins were shown through his skin from the contact with the rain.
"Let's go...before we all freeze to death," he shook off most of the ice, but it was pretty useless. He tried to keep his voice level and from chattering, but was barely successful. One of his more obvious weaknesses: Rain. The pockets of demon DNA heavily reacted to the frigid ice water that poured from the sky.
It was a bittersweet victory, but a victory nonetheless.

Eve's ears were ringing. She had been close to the church when it exploded searching a house for anyone. Her body ached. She rolled onto her back and stareed at the now clear sky. Her sences had been overwhelmed when the man resposible for all of the carnafe had showed up but now it was back to normal. She sat up and looked at herself there was a gaping hole in her shirt that was stained with blood, like she had been run through but healed. She knew that she was going to be sore for a few days as she got up. How many people had died here today? She searched the auras that she senced and found D's, Ivy's, Micheal's, and Daggerfangs. They were all okay. She couldn't sence very many poeple though. Where were they going to go? Something splattered against her face. It was rain. Cold rain. She got herself out of the rubble and surveyed the scene. Her heart sank. This was horrid. She piched herself up, moving stiffly and made her way to the Inn where everyone seemed to be congregating. ----------- "There is no other alternative then." Dominic said as he watched the scene from off in a distance. "I'm sorry father I know how much you would have liked her to join us." Veira said with false simpathy in her voice. "Then she must die." He replied as if he hadn't heard her. "You told her to join us or be destroyed." Veira agreed. "Then it shall be done. It might be fun to go after her friends first though." Dominic grinned. "As you wish father." Veira said as her father's image faded away.

D remained silent his head was down, his hat cast a dark shadow over his face. Even as Ivy ceased his parasite from doing as it should, D didnt say a thing, or move an inch. When the cold rain began pouring down the youths body quickly chilled and his healing slowed.
"And go where?" D said softly in response to Daggerfangs orders. "To the next town just so it can happen all over again?" D asked more himself than anyone else.
Finally he moved, a few ice pieces breaking free from the youths body. D tore his hand from Ivys, not answering her right away. "We have to get the people out of here." He told her as he stood and started to head into the Inn.
"Follow us, well take you somewhere safe." D told the townsfolk who were more or less scared out of their minds. _
"No offense, but what makes you think i trust you? Ive been betrayed by my own kind and others so many times." Dracula smirked. "Though a battle is a battle, and thats a hard call to resist. Plus the lowlife was ready to attack me when i was down. Thats just cowardly." Dracula sneered.
"Lead the way, but i want to know all there is to know about this.. Bloodstorm." Dracula said to Mazzaker.

Ivy watched her brother, but didn't help him or Daggerfang get the people out of the inn. Instead she leaned against the wall of the inn under a plank that acted as an over-hang and she took out a smoke and lit up, puffing smoke from her lips.
"D, open up a little." SHe thought to herself.

Daggerfang could hardly move. His feet were already frozen solid! His tail froze up next, and his wings were also becoming victims of the relentless rainstorm. The demon DNA magnified all strengths and weaknesses of both human and vampire half ten-fold. That was the blessing and the bane of it. If a blade didn't kill him, the rain sure would. His legs started freezing up after the tail, ice covering his shins in sheets.
"No no, not now.... Damn damn damn!"
Even when the battle is over, the war was not. Dag was fighting two wars; the demon DNA, and that psycho that blew up the town. He was losing this one, his wings finally freezing over solid. This was torturous. His fingers were freezing over already! If he froze now, he wouldn't be able to do anything until he thawed. Even when he thawed, he'd be sunsick to no end.
This sucked.
---------------------------------------------
Mazzaker partially smirked, "Yeah, he enjoys kicking people while they're down. He's giving us a week to get to his castle before it's hell on earth all over again. I know exactly where his castle is. First, some a**-kicking supplies from Silvercrow Keep."
The vampire suddenly shapeshifted...into a giant winged serpent, black scales and all. Wispy shadows made up the feathered crest on the head, and a pentagram glowed in the middle of the forehead. Red eyes flickered to life.
"I'll tell you more when we get there. Bloodstorm has spies everywhere."

Ivy could see Daggerfang in trouble, for what little it seemed to her, so she walked over to him and asked him one question as she held her hand up as it turned fire red.
"Want some help?"

Daggerfang managed a slight nod at Ivy, his torso beginning to freeze over. He managed a short, forced reply, trying to keep his voice level, "Yes. I would like help."
He had to, she had the heat, and he was literally turning into an ice statue. The remaining people needed to get out of this area and someplace else. The town itself was doomed, but the humans inhabiting it didn't have to suffer the same fate.

Ivy nodded back and she stood in front of Daggerfang.
"NOw for this to work I"m going to have to touch you and for it to last through the storm I need to kiss you, so please forgive me wherever I touch."
Ivy then placed both of her hands on Daggerfang's body and moved them all over him, head, neck, shoulders, torso, waist, mid-section, legs, feet, etc. WHen he was thawed out on the ouside, she stood up, placing her hands on his shoulders and running them behind hi neck and she whispered softly in his ear. 'Please forgive me" Then she kissed him on the lips, her body heating up completely and her body glowed bright red when she kissed him, sending her heat all through him, completely thawing him out and it would last throughout the storm.

Daggerfang was taken completely by surprise, but immediately forgave her. He thought he heard a faint evil cackle in the back of his mind, the result of the inhuman DNA reacting to the kiss. Still, it sounded disturbing.
Go AhEaD, kIsS hEr BaCk! YoU kNoW yOu WaNt To....
The voice didn't belong to anything human, or on this earth for that matter. Is the DNA...organizing? Sooner or later, he'd have to figure this out. If this thing was going to plague his head, then he'd not listen to it, at all. Hopefully, it would shut up.
Daggerfang shook off the excess ice, then proceeded to help the townsfolk out of the town. He briefly looked at Ivy, "Thanks."

Ivy watched Daggerfang leave and when she spoke back to him her voice was a little faint. "Your welcome, anytime." She smiled and started to walk back to her wall.
After about the third step towards her wall, she collapsed and fainted from kissing Daggerfang as well as using up most of her heating power to defrost Daggerfang.

The dhampir heard it all, and he immediately tended to Ivy, picking her up and placing her on her spot along the wall. That should keep her out of the rain, and give her a chance to recover, at least until she got her footing. Daggerfang went back to getting the townsfolk out of the ruined town.
He heard the familiar howl-roar of a Blood Minion, and saw one screaming in victory to the sky on a distant hill, silhouetted by the moon. Bloodstorm had claimed another town as this town was trying to recover from his recent attack. Damn him.
Damn it all.

Ivy must have been out for at least half an hour, she rose to her feet without her own help and she stood under the overhang and looked around, seeing that Daggerfang was helping D with the townsfolk and getting them out of the town and she watched, not wanting to get involved, but she would have to have a talk with Daggerfang to find out why she passed out after kissing him.
Ivy then called for her jacket and she put it on, drying it with the heat of her body like she had thawed Daggerfang before.
"I guess I'll check all the buildings for any refugee minions to make sure that none of them tried to hide and wanted to attack when they had the chance." SHe thought in her mind.
