He waved a hand to take in the world. Better now than it was, or gonna get, right? Right. Sure you don't want none? He dug his toes into the dirt, remembering a garden growing a few yards from a sapling he planted. Shun't ha'worried. Nobody shu worry bout me. I'm good. There had been a storm, and he'd rushed out to cover the seedlings. He closed his eyes, struggling to remember the face, the name, of the person who had helped him.
Whyja worry Shi? Shu just take care of y'self. 'Mfine. No'dy needs me and I dun need 'em. So dun worry 'bout me. Part of him was aware he was making an a** of himself, and it was that part that drew him to his feet, to stand swaying before her. Dun mean that. Dun listen to me Shi. Thanks fer comin'. I'll be fi...urp. He clutched his stomach as the alcohol fought back, nearly falling back to earth.

There was a slight glimmer of a smile, but it was sad, and not in any way mocking or congratulatory. *I didn't realize I needed a reason to worry. It seems what I am best suited for. Cern tried to ignore the protests his stomach screamed when it realized he was in motion. Thanks...think. Barely able to move, he had to trust her to hold him up, and hope he wasn't too heavy for her. The air had stopped giggling on the surface of his skin, was now laughing loudly in the hairs on his arm. He laughed, softly. Guess I'm a little worthless. Forgot to stop.

That drew him up short and made him peer at her shortsightedly. Damn odd thing to say, Shi. He grimaced, closing his eyes until the world agreed to stop swirling. You coon...coll...no make me sick. Bah. Even words were outsmarting him now.

The thought of tea made him feel green. Water. Water's good. Bottled stuff's there. He gestured to a small ice box built into the wall. She was right, it did feel better to sit.

Smiling she put her hand over his for a moment. *It's no problem. Although I can't help but admit I am concerned for you.* She noted the formality in her words, and thought he might as well. It was the voice she used when she did not want to seem too emotionally entrenched. Her professional voice. Not impersonal, but not emotional either.
Neutral was the word that fit best. No sense pressuring him.

Lord, his gaurdian was a little slow...
...or antisocail...
... or sick...
... or something...
Jonah was pretty sure there was something strange going on with her. The two of them had spent some time talking and getting to know each other.
But honestly, he could only spend so much time with one person. There were so many others that needed to meet him!
Pam chattered on about her past, pleased to finally have some reason to stay on Masquerade. She had only just met Jonah and already she considered him a son. He was begining to ignore her, just like any other boy would.
"Are you bored?"
'Maybe.'
"I'm going to finish moving in here... If you'd like you could go out and explore..."
'I think I will.'
Jonah nodded, not bothering to wait for her reply before he stood up and wandered out the door. He smiled as he wandered farther away from the hut he shared with his gaurdian.
Finally! He could meet some new people. Wouldn't they just be thrilled to get to know him?

Nika returned home, soaking wet and shivering.
"Nika!" G_E gasped, "Why are you so wet? Go change and I'll bring you something to drink..."
'Alright...' Nika sighed, hiked up his pants so that he wouldn't get the floor wet and wandered to his room.
He threw his wet shirt on a chair and pulled out a sweater that looked like it had been put through the wash too many times.
'Hot chocolate?' he called as he pulled the sweater over his head.
"How'd you know?" G_E grinned, walking into his room without bothering to knock as he pulled on a fuzzy pair of sweat pants. She placed the cup of hot chocolate on the nightstand beside his bed and gave him a look.
"Why were you so wet?"
Nika shrugged and sat on the edge of his bed, 'Shiva and I went for a little swim...'
G_E laughed, "It is too cold out to go swimming."
'So?'
G_E rolled her eyes and left the room.

Cinderfae Kasai walked to the door quickly and opened it for Sani, After you water girl, our guardians are inside. Kasai's mask upturns in a smile and his eyes dance happily.Cin leans back letting Mycroft speak raising the glass of water to her lips she watches Kasai open the door for Saniya over the rim of the glass. Cin smiles slightly, her boy seemed to be quite the charmer. She wondered how he was adjusting to everyone in the colony and if one day he would want to leave. Mycroft smiles and brushes an imaginary piece of lint off of his smoking jacket, he liked being talked to one on one. It probably had to dow with his new form, most humans he has found don't like talking to something that is just a voice from a wrist comm. "I can't really touch the metal, but from what my sensors have picked up it seems to be very durable to air and water, there hasn't been any damage caused to the metal from what I have seen so far. For it's durability against water I would personally like to run some more tests. Also as we have seen with the wire making it is also very easy to form into whatever shape is needed. I would also be very happy to help you test the metal further." Trivii was nodding at Mycroft when she heard her daughter, and glanced up, smiling at Sani while replying to Mycroft, "Its a tolerant mineral then. I'll have to get a closer look at it." Straightening the cat-kin arched her back. "Excuse me Mycroft" Turning to her ward she tilted her head, "What do you need lovely?" ((I think that covers a good response))

Jonah wandered around the village. He came to a hut that looked like a fun house, with the decorations and all. He went up to the window and wiped the frost off of it. Then he peered in the house, he saw a beautiful woman and a young man. He watch them as they sat down and had some hot chocolate. He was getting cold so he started walking home but he didnt realize how far he wandered off. So he though, " I should just asked to stay at there house and warm up! I know they won't say no! so Jonah took his chance and walked to the front door. He knocked tree times and they didn't come so he started banging one the door...

Shiva Shi was concerned about Cern, but was trying too hard not to show it. She seemed to sense immediately that too much emotion would be the wrong thing to do.
