"Yeah... The whole undead and undead slayer thing doesn't mix well." she muttered reaching around Pinky and through the flap to scoop up one of the bottles of Gin that had landed there during all this. Kay poped it open and took a swig, "To kill those that should be dead for the death of those risen again..."

Luke could see that he held Khana's attention, and he continued to explain all that he could about how things stood now. There was one vital piece of information that he did not relate however, and didn't plan to. Other than that he was mostly honest, and it didn't look like she caught on that he was leaving anything out. He sat down next to her on the bed roll, a few feet apart.
Khana listened, frowning slightly the whole time. This was just to weird... Eventually she sat down on her bed roll, near the pillow and still didn't say anything s he sat down too. It was difficult enough just trying to take everything in.

Kimmi blinked stupidly at Kay. "I have no idea what you are talking about." She denied. "I just meant you healing was going to be harder since you won't rest. That's all." She flashed her a bright smile. She hoped Luke was true to his word and played nice, at least for tonight. Maybe she should shoot herself up with one of those hypo needles to keep herself awake, it was about the only way she was going to keep up with the woman.

[[this should unnecessarily get Kay's attention mrgreen lol]]
Luke continued to look right at Khana in the silence that followed his explanation, but she was looking down. After a moment of hesitation he reach out toward her hand-
"DONT TOUCH ME!" Khana cried, springing away. She hadn't meant to do that... She hadn't even realized, but she was afraid. Afraid of what he would feel like, cold, clammy, and dead? Or just as warm and alive as before? She didn't want to know, because she doubted he would feel the same as before... She was holding the hand he had almost touched, and feeling slightly ashamed. Yet still, she did not say anything, but only stayed splayed back at the farthest reaches of the tent.
Luke pulled his hand back quickly, but he feared this would raise the slayer at least, if not others of the camp. And again, he could not fight them if he wanted anyones trust. "I'm sorry" he tried to say.

Kay was out of the tent and at Khana's before Pinky had time to gather her feet under her. Throwing the flap aside, Kay had a double-bladed dagger ready inside her jacket sleeve as she looked in. "How many times do I have to tell you to be quiet or you'll wake the neighbors?" Kay said, covering for Khana as a few of the gunners had started heading over to the tent to see what the scream had been about. Sliding inside and closing the flap behind her, Kay kept to the edge of the tent and circled around the undead stranger till she'd reached Khana's side. God, how many times was she going to have to go through this scene!?

Kimmi ran for the tent and jerked inside. Instead of going for Kay, as would be assumed, she tackled Luke. Before he could even react her sai was in the ground next to his head as she knelt one knee on his chest the other at his throat. Her other sai was centimeters above his eye. Her aqua eyes were narrowed and her pink hair hid the look on her face from the other two girls. Her face was the same as on the hill, showing him and only him how very dangerous she was indeed. Using her normal pirky voice but not changing her face to match "You promised to play nice now. We had a deal." It was a warning that he had seconds to explain why her friend was cowering in a corner.

Luke didn't even try to defend himself trusting on the fact that Kimmi wouldn't try to kill him if he came up with something to say fast enough, but just as he started to speak, Khana did instead. That was good because if what he had been going to say wasn't good enough, things would get ugly fast. And he would have to use his altered abilities, such as the strength he refrained from using when Kimmi pinned him. She may have more strength then any of the other realized, but like Kay, he was altered beyond human capabilities.
Khana was thrown off by how quickly Kay and Kimmi appeared, but before any damage could come to Luke she said, "No don't!" she jumped around Kay so that was next to Kimmi and put one hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry I... he didn't do anything... I didn't mean to yell like that, I just" she didn't know what else to say. How can you put into words what it felt like to be afraid of the one you loved to even touch you? She might not know how to act or what to do, she needed to time, time to think, but she didn't want Luke killed or... she didn't like to think it, re-killed.

Kimmi kept her eyes staring into Lukes. Her muscle under Khana's hand was taught and ready to bring the sai down on him. Khana was too close she had to school her features to represent more of the Pinky she knew, but her eyes were hard and calculating. "Really well, what a silly misunderstanding then." She didn't move right away, slowly and reluctantly she moved off of him. She flashed Khana a bright smile, no more screams unless their the good kind then ne?" She teased the woman as she grabbed the whiskey bottle she had discarded. "You have to get rid of Kay on your own now." She said directing the comment to Luke as she took a large swig of the whiskey and pushed her way out of the tent and headed for her own.

Khana looked down at Luke, she couldn't even be embarrassed by Kimmi's comment. Partially, she thought, because she was afraid to even touch him. She couldn't imagine things ever going so far again. Although, she knew she would have to touch him eventually, and maybe he would still feel human? What then? Before she could think too much she was aware of Kay still standing there. Without really thinking she positioned herself in front of Luke who she could see was standing now.
Luke stood up slowly after Kimmi got off him. Both comments buzzed in his head, though the vital one now was Kay. He would not put himself at Kay's mercy as he had Kimmi, there had been no deal between them, and he still didn't know who's strength was greater. But at least Kay wasn't at her full strength, by the sound of it. It was a little ironic he thought, when Khana stood between him and the slayer. But it made him feel a little more confident as well, that he might still have a chance at something. "You herd her, it was a mistake, I hadn't intended or inflicted any harm" he said very calmly.

Kimmi's voice could suddenly be heard singing loudly as she walked through the camp. "Sunshine where the hell are you going?" One of the gunners asked with a laugh as she tossed him the empty bottle of whiskey. She laughed with him and kept walking. "I'm gonna go fer a swim!" She called back as she approached the forest. "Holy crap is she drunk?" The gunner asked his partner. "No no she's not drunk. This is the good stuff from Khana's stash, she's wasted." Shaking his head he yelled out to her. "Come on back Sunshine it's not safe that far out! Dammit that girl needs a leash." He muttered.
With a smirk Kimmi knew it was only a matter of making sure to cause enough noise that Kay would hear before she came after her. "You owe me sooooo huge Lukey boy." She giggled. "Kay! Come swimming with me!" She yelled out with another giggle. "Undead jerk better say thank you." She muttered as she stumbled over a root. She wasn't as drunk as she was letting on, having dumped most of what was left in the sand, but she had enough that her vision was off. "That stuff was stronger than I thought."

"Lets get two things straight... First, I don't care who the hell you were you are an undead. As such you won't gain my trust. Second, I was created to kill things like you. So don't even think for a second that I wouldn't be able to take you out. He created you so he could test his new toy out." Kay stated leathaly, the menace in her voice leaving no room for arguement. "I can find you where you hide, and I will kill you when the time comes without hesitation." Kay stepped forward and around so that she had a clear shot at Luke. Looking him in the eyes she let him know that she knew exactly what the one he called master had done to him, how he had changed him and what it meant he could do. "I'll be watching..." Kay left that thought hanging as she stepped out of the tent, making sure to leave Luke with some serious thinking to do.

The gunners were still laughing at Kimmi since she was still in sight. One looked back and saw Kay. "Hey you gonna follow her or should one of us go swimming with her?" The tone he asked in made it clear none of them would mind swimming with the girl.
Kimmi rolled her eyes hearing their call from where she was, lurking right at the edge of the forest. What pigs she traveled with, then again with things the way they were a little bit of perversion was to be expected.

Kay half sighed. "I go... With her luck she'll end up stumbling into a nest of some new evil creatures." Kay joked with the gunners as she headed over to Pinky. The girl didn't fool her for a second, Pinky might be drunk but she wasn't that drunk. The plan was obviously to get Kay away from Luke so that she was less likely to seperate him and his head. Now I'm a babysitter...

"Oooooo, big bad Kay looks angry." She snickered. Crap, she was a bit drunker than she had thought, oh well all the more convincing then. She giggled and grabbed Kay by the arm when she got close enough. "On second though you should stay on shore, I don't think you should get your wounds wet." She babbled as she dragged Kay in the direction the Lake had been.

"That's the least of my problems..." Kay mumbled, allowing Pinky to drag her toward the lake. She had no idea where the puppet master was, she was being dragged by a partially drunk Pinky to go swimming, and on top of all that their was something inside her... Something that wasn't suppose to be there. She could feel it fighting against her, it had gotten out at least once when the bus of kids had flipped over. Kay shivered in the breeze, it had to be something he did to her.
