Hawk_McKrakken DavidGemmell Altered your sig, I see. I approve. Yup. Just came to the realization that I really... really like the Netherlands. And I've made a firm decision - instead of saying one is "Dutch" I shall say "Netherlander." And instead of saying one speaks Dutch, I shall say "Netherlandic." Makes more sense than "Dutch", yeah. I've been going for "Netherlish", myself.

Actually, I'm quite fond of most northern European, Germanic language speaking countries. o.O

Brb. smile xD And just think, Minnesota is stereotyped as cold. ... gonk Actually, it's quite nice here now. About 75F, and not as humid as it usually is... At least we don't speak like the stereotypical Californian. mrgreen However, if you watch the movie Fargo, you can see all sorts of people making fun of the Minnesotan accent (it's DEFINITELY not that obvious, but a lot of the stuff they hit right on).

Insane in a completely different way than French verbs. gonk Shall we say that my Russian verb book has a 70 page chapter that's just a 'brief overview' of the verbs? gonk Yeah, but that probably covers almost every possible tense ... blah. Then again, all I know is present tense regular, but it's like Spanish except that type 1 don't drop.. uh... something. I forgot sweatdrop But it was almost the same, just different endings.

Accents in Australia reflect more social class than location. But of course, there are certain locations which are mostly of a lower social standing. sweatdrop
Duth always confused me! I think it's a good idea to just say Netherlander, and Netherlandish. Or Hollander, and Hollandish. Hehehe, because Holland is sinking.
Why is that funny?
But then of course Denmark is just a strange name, and no-one can say for sure what it means.
