Feeling slightly calmed down Maire said, "Good. That was a wise choice." She smiled. "I know that we have to do this soon but can we just stay here for a while and hold me? Please?" Marie asked in a soft and weak tone.

"Of course." Vlad rests his palm on the ground and lifts it up, a large mouse with a puff ball at the end of the tail appears and begins scurrying towards the castle, "Here, Munchie will give them my orders." His hands slides back around Marie.

Holding onto him Marie said, "Thank you." Seeing the rat appear and that Vlad sent it away. "Wow I didn't figure you as a rat person." She smiled and rested on Vlad.

Vlad kisses the top of Marie's head as it rests on his chest, "Yeah, but he's kinda cute don't you think?"

"Yeah, he is all fuzzy." She smiled for a bit. Marie started to close, but looked up at him and said, "Vlad I love you." She kissed him and rested her head back on his chest.

Starting to fall asleep Marie said, "I'd love that, more than anything else in the world." Marie grabbed his hand and kissed it and still held it while she feel asleep.

Vlad holds Marie gently as she sleeps. Looking down at her peaceful face as she breathes deep and slow.

For the second time in her life Marie was able to sleep. But sadly her dreams weren't as peaceful. Marie dreampt that she was fighting the Boss durring the blood moon to protect Vlad. The Boss defeated her and taken Vlad away to kill him. Marie begins to mumble in her sleep, "No, please.....wait......" Her facal exression was one of pain.

Vlad rubs Maries face gently with one of his hands, holding her close with the other, trying to calm her.

Feeling his hand brush against her face and the fear that came from the dream Marie Grabbed Vlad's hand and woke up. She looked at him and began to cry again. She let go of his hand and curled up to him. "Vlad I'm scared. I can't lose you. I can't lose anyone anymore." Marie just held onto him tight and cried.

Vlad speaks softly and gently, "If there was any way I didn't have to do this I would. But there's no choice. Marie we have to get going, we only have tonight and tomorrow."

Holding his hands Marie said, "I know, I know we need to go." Marie stood up with Vlad and wipped her tears away. She then kissed Vlad and said, "Don't let that be the last time I get to do that. And I know you are my strong brave Knight." Marie finally smiled.

Smiling, "I may be a damsel but I am not one that will be in distress so easily. But whjen I am I always have you." She smiled at Vlad. "We should go." She said as she began to walk back to the castle.
