She walks slowly around the corner into the Ball room. She sees everyone dancing and having a great time. She sits on a chair below a large painting of a depressed looking woman cutting fabric. "And why aren't you out there dancing young miss?" She tugged on her long black tie and replied nervously.
"I don't know anyone here...It's my first day." The woman in the painting set her scissors onto the table and and began putting pins into the fabric for hemming.
"Well that doesn't mean you can't go off and talk to people, sitting there will never get you to know anyone."
She tugged on her tie once again, not notticing that she was doing so since it was becoming tighter and tighter. She loosened it and fixed her nice white and light yellow polo shirt. "Yes...you are quite right. But I think I'll just sit here for a while."
"Well I'll keep you company 'till then."
