Sheena didn't answer right away and instead slowly looked around. "I don't know," she answered honestly. "If I had to choose though, I think I'd vote for bed. It's been a long day and I'm exhausted." She stifled a yawn and stretched her arms out a bit. "Plus, I want to head out fairly early tomorrow morning so I can get to Slateport before the party starts. I wouldn't want to show up late or anything."

"Fair enough," Keegan shrugged. After all, she had been up since before the crack of dawn and she really did look worn out. "Go back and get some rest. Besides, you look awful."

"Thanks," Sheena replied sarcastically. "Don't you stay up too late. You're no basket of fruit, either." She hugged him before turning to head back towards the Pokemon Center. The thought of a soft pillow and clean sheets was very enticing and she couldn't wait to be asleep. Once she'd made it back she found a room and changed into her pajamas. After releasing her Pokemon, she climbed into bed, giggling a bit as they made themselves comfortable next to her. Within minutes, all six of them were sound asleep.

For once Keegan didn't fight her off when she hugged him, and instead he bid her goodnight and watched her until she turned a corner and was out of sight. The redhead sighed and scratched his head. He had some free time and energy to burn, and at the moment there was only one thing on his mind. He may had just won a Heat Badge last night, but the only two battles he'd had today had both been losses. "Time for some training," he mumbled to himself before setting up his bike and heading east.

While Miharu and the other Kimono sisters may have been impressed by the Pinsir's quick thinking, Komay and her Flareon were definitely not. Smoke could almost be seen pouring from her ears as she pointed at Petunia. "Flareon, Ember! Put it down!" she barked, her voice firm, confident and full of fire.

The fiery Pokemon shot another glare at Petunia before it started rushing towards her, flames already spilling from its mouth. The Ember attack scored another direct hit, and the Pinsir screeched out in pain. Miharu didn't hesitate to call the Stagbeetle back - she'd had enough. This time, the small girl didn't hesitate to send out another Pokemon, and her fingers quickly set the Park Ball back in its slot before she grabbed the next one in line. "Let's go, Aska! Blast it with a Sand-Attack!"

The Pidgeotto materialized in a flash of light, already obeying her trainer's commands even before she really saw her opponent. A fiery-orange quadruped caught her eye and she flew low to the ground, wings spread wide. At the last moment she veered upwards, causing a blast of sand and dust to be left in her wake. The Flareon hadn't been expecting such a speedy opponent and before it could even blink its eyes were stinging and it was coughing uncontrollably. Aska kept her eyes on her opponent as she turned around in midair, ready for her next command.

Upon seeing the pretty Butterfree being released Robin 'oo'd' appreciatively and watched it fly off into the night. Hearing M.A. introduce her to the cute blonde, Jeashan that was his name she couldn't help but giggle some. Turning her attention back to the situation at hand she shook his hand after M.A. and blushed slightly. "Eheh. Sorry to rope you into looking for my Aipom." She knew Luffy could be a handful but if he ran off and she got to meet cute boys and maybe make a friend in M.A. then she would have to reward him.

As Luffy ran he couldn't help but screech in horror as the demons continued to chase him. Doing a short of flip he flicked his large hand tail and sent a wave of stars at the two. Unfortunately since he was thinking about aiming at demons the Swift actually missed since it didn't know what to hit. Instead of hitting the others it crashed into a few trash cans and a wall causing an loud explosion. Laughing now Luffy continued to run down the street taking random corners as he went and basically making a nuisance of himself.

Upon hearing the explosion, it wasn't as bad as the one from earlier by a long shot but it was still loud enough, Robin sighed. "Damn it Luffy. You better not have broken anything." She sighed, she didn't even want to know how he got something to explode, she really didn't. Plus even if the cute boy put up with her now the moment he met Luffy there would be a problem usually. Glancing over at the other two she looked at them sadly. "I am sorry I have roped you into this, Luffy is a handful sometimes." Ok not sometimes, all the time.

"Both, actually," Kasiya replied truthfully. "It'll be nice to just hang out at the beach and make new friends and stuff, but I'm very interested in what Professor Rowan has to say. I can't wait to be able to visit this 'Sinnoh' place, and see what kind of awesome Pokemon are living there." She sighed happily and leaned back against her tree again, still cuddling her backpack to her chest. Before long though, it grew too hot to hold onto and she set it in the sand next to her. Please hatch soon! she pleaded mentally.

Still leaning against the tree, she looked up at the sky, hidden behind the canopy of leaves. Levi tugged on her arm, and when Kasiya acknowledged her, the Marshtomp looked imploringly at the water. Kasiya giggled and nodded. "Go ahead, but don't go too far," she told the Pokemon lovingly. Levi gave a happy squeal and ran out towards the waves, very nearly tripping a couple who was strolling down the beach. Kasiya watched the Marshtomp disappear into the water, suddenly wishing she could swim as well as the Water-type Pokemon.

"So what about you, Serenity?" Kasiya asked, turning back towards her new acquaintance. She thought that perhaps she already knew the answer to the question she was about to ask, but she went ahead and asked it anyway. "Are you here for the seminar or the party?"

"Nice to meet you too," Jaeshan replied quickly, shaking the hand of each of the girls in turn. He couldn't help but notice that Robin was blushing a bit, but he really didn't know why. Mightyena remained patiently by his trainer's side, looking up at the two girls respectfully. If his trainer thought them to be friends, then so would he. Jaeshan turned to M.A. and scratched his chin thoughtfully. "Don't want to be rude, but the curiosity's killing me," he chuckled. "What does M.A. stand for?"

The small explosion caused Jaeshan to startle a little, and he looked around in surprise. Surly that loud noise couldn't have been caused by a little Aipom? Now not sure what to expect, Jaeshan hoped that Butterfree would be careful in her search for little Luffy. "Don't worry about it, Robin," he said reassuringly. "You don't need a reason to help people."

The commotion caused by Luffy's wayward swift had been enough to alert Butterfree to his whereabouts, and she fluttered high over the buildings and streets. Before long she spotted the trio of Pokemon, and she picked up a bit of speed in order to catch up with them. A Houndour and Phanpy were in hot pursuit of the monkey Pokemon, although from Butterfree's perspective it looked like Luffy thought it to be a game. A bit amused by the sight the butterfly floated downwards towards the trio, deciding that the three of them were making enough noise for a heard of rampaging Tauros and it was time for them to stop.

It felt very strange to suddenly be on his own after having a traveling companion for the last several days straight, and as much as he generally preferred the company, it was hard for Keegan to not enjoy the solace. He soon reached the very same bit of beach that Kasiya had trained on earlier that day (although he didn't know that). He sighed and hopped off his bike, taking a good look around. It definitely looked as though something had gone on there earlier that day, as the sand was all torn up and disturbed, and there were many indistinguishable footprints all over the place. "Wonder what happened here," the redhead mumbled, placing his hands on his hips.

He soon forgot about the condition of the beach though, as he released his Pokemon, all of whom seemed to be bursting with energy, including Tierra. The Golem was actually awake for once and looking around expectantly. With a bit of instruction, the six Pokemon helped to form a quick, makeshift battle-arena, with Loki using his long body to draw lines in the sand. The others combined their efforts to smooth out the ground, and in only about ten minutes they were ready to begin. Keegan then pointed at Tierra and Helios before pointing at the arena. Eagerly, the Golem and Vulpix took their positions on the field, unsure of what was going to happen next.

"Remember you two, this is training so you're not out to maim and dismember each other," Keegan warned, looking from one Pokemon to the other. "Helios, I want you to practice your attack accuracy," he told the Vulpix, who nodded quickly. The redhead then turned to the Golem. "And you, Tierra. I know you don't really like me and all that, but I want you to be on full defensive. That means evasive maneuvers if you can manage it. Understand?" The Golem nodded, although she really didn't get what he meant by her not liking him. The Golem thought Keegan was indeed a strange human, but not once could she remember, but she was growing rather fond of him. Keegan raised his hand, and signaled for the two to begin. Almost instantly Helios jumped into action, the Charcoal he wore around his neck glowing with a fiery radiance as he shot off a Flamethrower at Tierra.

"Aerial Ace, now!" Miharu shouted quickly. Her confidence returned again, as she knew Aska a lot better than both Petunia and Sparkle, and thus it was easier to work with her. Miharu knew that with time she'd grow to be just as comfortable with the Pinsir and Flaaffy as she was with her other Pokemon, and the only way to foster that bond was to keep working together. The Pidgeotto went into a dive and bombarded the blinded Flareon with a strong strike, causing the fire type to cry out in pain.

Komay cried out with her Pokemon, and grumbled a bit. "Now that it's close, Flareon! Blast it with a Flamethrower!" The Flareon reacted quickly, opening its mouth and sending out an intense stream of flames at Aska, who was quite prone after her attack. The attack blackened many of the bird's feathers but she still looked like she could continue.

Wow, Flamethrower! Miharu thought, a little impressed, and a little scared at the same time. Why didn't Komay use that against Petunia? It would have been a one-hit knockout... Miharu's thoughts trailed off as she answered her own question. Komay didn't want to end it that quickly, and Miharu smiled. She was really quite impressed by these sisters and their Pokemon.

"The seminar mostly. I leave for the Sinnoh region after it's over." Sere nodded. She watched as Kasiya's Marshtomp headed off into the water. "My parents wanted to send me there to get my experience in training." She looked over at Kasiya who seemed to be getting comfortable in the sand. Sere was suprised by how easy it was to talk to her.

Radish squirrmed in Serenity's arms to be let down. She wanted to play in the sand some, and tried to start a bit of a fight with George. George on the other hand had watched as Levi took off into the water and wanted nothing more than to be able to follow. He looked pleedingly up at his trainer in hopes that she might relent a little bit and let him go. Serenity shook her head. George was still so little to be going out as far as Levi was. Plus she didn't want anyone to take him from her. The pokemon sat in the sand and pouted.

"What do you think Kasiya? Is he big enough to go play in the water? Will Levi watch out after him?" The fury of questions came out of her mouth before she even had the chance to slow them down. It was a problem of hers that Alex had warned her not to do to the people that weren't her family, but Serenity had so little experience with anyone else she had forgotten. Not everyone was used to her fast paced speach. Sere could feel the red rising to her cheeks again. "Sorry, I forget that I talk fast sometimes."

M.A. grinned mischievously, a spark lighting up in her eye. "Oh, it's a weird story," she said, feigning some embarrassment. "But I think I can trust you with it, if you promise you won't tell anyone else! My father was a little tipsy when the birth certificate came, and my mother was alseep. He thought that my birth certificate was the complaint file for our pool. So he wrote down 'Mossy Algae' and sent that in." The girl sighed and shrugged. Heavens know that M.A.'s family never had a pool, but that was irrelevant.

Turning to Robin blissfully, M.A. waved off her concerns with a hand. "Don't worry! At least that means he's close..." If anything, Tora was probably making things worse, but ah well.

From an aerial view, the chase might have looked a bit like Pacman chasing some ghosts in fast-forward. Pacman being Tora, who was inches from rolling Daemyn as flat as a pancake, and the two ghosts being the Houndour and the Aipom themselves. They took so many twists and turns that they were beginning to go in one big loop. At one point, they even crossed RIGHT in front of Jaeshan, M.A., and Robin -- at this point, Ulani saw Mr. Hat and was so excited upon seeing her love that she joined the chase as well, wondering (in tears) why in the world her dear love would run away from her!

Kasiya nodded along, taking in Serenity's words carefully. It sounded so wonderful, to be able to head off to Sinnoh for a fresh start! Kasiya remembered well the day she and her little Eevee had set off on their journey, and how it felt for everything to be new and unknown, and a big part of her wanted to head off for Sinnoh right away too. But then the other part of her steadily reminded her of the two remaining Kanto League gym badges she had left to get, and that made her hesitant. Maybe, just maybe if some of her friends were willing to head to Sinnoh as well, she'd go. But then there was always the question of what Pokemon to bring with her.

Her thoughts had been running so rampant in her mind that she'd almost missed Serenity's string of rapidly-fired questions. Kasiya giggled, and looked out towards the beach, where she could see Levi poking her head out of the water. It seemed she was waiting for George to come and join her. Kasiya then studied the pouting Mudkip and giggled. While she didn't want to tell someone else how to take care of her Pokemon, a big part of the actual training was trusting them. "Yeah, Levi will look out for him," she nodded. Besides that, if something went wrong she always had her ace in the hole.

Next to her, the egg wriggled again, this time so much that it caused her whole backpack to topple over. Kasiya nearly jumped in surprise, but relaxed when she saw that the egg was still safely tucked inside with all her clothes. Boy, that was one feisty little Pokemon in there!
=-=-=-=-=

Now Jaeshan wasn't exactly naive, but when he saw the twinkle in M.A.'s eye, he was sure she was only kidding. "Well, its better than Moxy Crime Fighter. Or Moon Unit," he chuckled, going along with the joke for now. He also decided right then and there that he would call M.A. 'Mossy' now and then, if anything just for a laugh.

Butterfree continued to watch the 'chase' with some amusement from her aerial position, watching as now a Swablu joined in on the fun when the three other Pokemon passed in front of the three trainers. The butterfly needed to think of a way to lure the Pokemon back towards their trainers. By now she was certain that the Aipom wearing the hat thought that this was all a great game and he was just prolonging the inevitable. The clever butterfly then had an idea. She flew down towards where she knew Luffy would pass by, and waited. When she saw the Aipom approaching, she used Safeguard to encompass her body with a glimmering, shiny green veil of light. Now she didn't know if it would work or not, but she began to lead the way back towards Jaeshan and the others, hoping the excitable monkey would follow.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 07, 2008 10:27 am

Giggling at M.A.'s fake name and Jeashan's fake ones Robin watched the two talk for a moment before she decided to continue the conversation. "So what are you doing up so late Jeashan? Did that explosion earlier wake you up?" She was still a little irritated at the two boys for that little incident.

By now Razputin had built up a very decent amount of speed, zipping around and doing aerial flips and turns like there was no tomorrow. Ok yeah he had found the small group in little to no time not even looking for them but they seemed to be doing fine so he hadn't really bothered to stop them. Instead he kinda of started to sorta follow them and keep up the fun on his own. Since he wasn't paying to much attention to his surroundings and he was going at such a high speed when a green light showed up out of no where he couldn't help it. Sure he wasn't a moth but he also didn't have the best impulse control so with little thought he made a sharp turn almost of that on a right angle and smashed right into the poor Butterfree.

Luffy who was running around laughing like a mad Aipom just stopped slightly when he saw the green glow, 'Eh?' Just as he acknowledged that there was a loud smash and the light seemed to move away. He stared at it for a moment before he realized that the demons were still after him. Laughing again he saw a lamp poll and dashed up it. Stopping on the top of it he gave a little dance and laughed at the ones chasing him.

"Yeah, no kidding," M.A. said, nodding very gravely in response to Jaeshan's comment. She watched the Pokemon dart in front of them all, hardly suppressing a laugh at the scene -- it did appear rather humorous, having a furious Phanpy and Houndour chase after Robin's Aipom, which was laughing like a hyena. Add in the flying mess of Ulani, Butterfree, and the looping Yanma and there could have been an additional report of air traffic congestion.

Daemyn came to a stop right in front of the lamp pole, snarling at the Aipom mocking them from so far up. Tora, however, didn't exactly have as much control over her momentum as Daemyn did, and so crashed into his rear-end, squashing his face against the cool metal and rattling the lamp a bit. Meanwhile, Ulani blissfully floated up the pole to land on that lovely hat... Ah, finally, she cooed, rubbing her face against the straw fabric.

With the way that George looked up at Serenity she could have sworn the pokemon was actually pouting at her. She sighed. "Alright George go have fun, but stay with Levi." 'Or I'll never let you out of my sight again.' She added in her head.

"Mudkip!!!" The pokemon squeeked. He jumped up on his trainer and kissed her chin before running off and joining the other pokemon in the water.

"I guess that was a thank you." Serenity giggled.

Radish for her part just watched as her new friend deserted her. She didn't know how to swim so it wasn't as though she could go have fun with them. She glared at the little blue pokemon as he ran away then promptly climbed back on her trainers lap and sat and pouted.

Serenity noticed that Kasiya's bag had started to wriggle and shake. Before too long the entire thing had toppled over. 'What on earth?'

"What exactly do you have in that bag?" Then it occured to her. "WAIT! is it and egg?!" Serenity's eyes got big.

Kasiya giggled upon seeing George dash out to the water, and the Mudkip and Marshtomp began to splash and play almost immediately. The Oddish looked awfully annoyed that it had been abandoned by its friend and sat sulking in Serenity's lap.

Kasiya dug a bit of a hole in the sand so that her backpack could sit upright, and she nodded. "Yup, it's an egg, alright. And an energetic egg at that." She smiled and gently touched the top of the orange egg. Was it just her imagination or did it seem brighter than before? She didn't keep contact with it for long though, as it seemed hotter than ever (if even possible) and she didn't want to risk burning the skin off of her fingers. "It's supposed to hatch tomorrow or the day after that," she added eagerly, her voice giving away just how much she wanted it to hatch now.

Jaeshan wasn't really sure what to think of the mass of rowdy Pokemon charging through the streets although he did have one thought - if they kept this up, soon the police would probably show up to put a stop to the ruckus. Mightyena, meanwhile, sat on the ground next to Jaeshan watching the others with a noticeable scowl on his face. It was obvious that he didn't approve of the other Pokemons' actions. "Yeah, the explosion woke me up," he said, frowning a little. "You think that if people were going to battle in the middle of the night they'd take it somewhere else so that they wouldn't be so disruptive." Robin wasn't the only one who was irritated with the two battlers.

Butterfree had been looking around carefully in order to see if any of the Pokemon were following her, but her plan had brought up an unexpected result - suddenly a Yanma was buzzing at her at a very high speed, and at the last moment Butterfree began to flap her wings rapidly, pushing a Whirlwind at the oncoming dragonfly. The force of wind softened the blow enough for the both of them, and she cast Razputin a glare that clearly read 'watch where you're going!'. Looking around to regain her bearings, she saw the little imp dash up a lamp post and start dancing on top of it. It took every ounce of willpower the butterfly had to not fly over there and give that Aipom a good dousing of Sleep Powder or Stun Spore - that'd teach him a lesson!

"Let's start off with something pretty bad," Mazarin laughed, adjusting the straps of his Charizard wings. "Use Toxic on Flygon!" The strange rock nodded and retreated back into his shell. Without warning, a purple blob shot out of the hole where the head had appeared from, aimed right for the large dragon.

Kilik was too unprepared to try and retaliate. Before he even opened his mouth, he heard Flygon squeal in discomfort. She had been badly poisoned already and hadn't even lifted a claw to attack yet. He bit his lip. If it could use Toxic, perhaps it was a Poison-type? No, that can't be right... he thought, everything can learn Toxic. What are you, Shuckle? he clenched his fist. "Okay, Bahamut, go at it with a..." he hesitated, "Steel Wing?" He shrugged. Honestly, Kilik had no idea how to go about this fight. Her tail swished around and she jumped up into the air, a bunch of sand billowing out beneath her as she did. Her wings flapped and she glared down at the strange opponent before her wings began to glow a dull gray. Bahamut flew straight down towards the Shuckle, ready to crack her newly-metaled wings right across his face.

"Oh, Kilik! Did you know that Shuckle has the highest Defense powers of all the Pokemon in the world?" Mazarin laughed heartily, putting his fists against his hips. "It's going to take a lot more than a mere Steel Wing to put him down!" The boy was right. The wings did crack against Shuckle, and boy did that Pokemon react. His shell spun around in the sand, creating a small hole. It had to be super-effective. Mazarin gulped, but he felt confident in his Pokemon's ability. The Mold Pokemon crawled out of his little hole and tilted his head at Flygon. "Shuckle, use Return!" Slowly, almost painfully slow, the strange Pokemon crawled at Bahamut then crashed his shell into her.

Kilik blinked. Flygon barely flinched. That attack did practically nothing. The boy snapped his fingers. "I get it. Shuckle may have outstanding Defensive capability..." He crossed his arms over his chest, "But his Achilles heel is that he has absolutely horrible Attacking power! You can draw out the battle as long as you please, but you won't do anything to harm me. I figured it out," he snatched up Flygon's ball, "Bahamut return! I don't want you too hurt by that poison."

Mazarin was shaking in his boots and wings now. Kilik had him all figured out. He closed his eyes and smiled. "You always were the quickest to deduce things!" Shuckle looked very confused. Where did the big green dragon friend go?

"You use Toxic so you can slowly drain away at them while you sit nicely with your high defenses. Tell me, Maz..." he smirked, grabbing a Great Ball from his bag, "What can you do when your Poison has no effect? Lairon, let's go!" The metal giant was already out of the ball at the word 'go'. He crashed into the sand and created a cloud so thick that he could not be seen. All Mazarin could hear was the low growl emitting from the behemoth's throat. He had been awoken (literally) and wasn't going to rest until that small red rock was nothing but red dust.

Running around the huge house that was on the edge of Pallet town Stephen was super excited for his journey to start. He still had to wait for his sister, his parents wouldn't let him leave with out her. So instead he was playing a game of tag with Sparky the Elekid. Laughing like mad Stephen scrambled up a tree.

Sparky skidded to a stop at the base of the tree and stared up at him with wide eyes. He coudlnt climb up trees with his short arms. Stomping around the base of the tree Sparky waited for his trainer to come down.

Abby hustled out of the house a few seconds later. She had to make sure her hair looked perfect for her very first day as a trainer! What if she met a cute boy?

Even though she came out after her brother she still frowned and crossed her arms. "Come on Stephen!" she yelled impatiently. "I want to get started now!" By her side was her little Doduo, Mimi, who had grown just big enough now to carry his short young master if she wanted her too. The Bird-type scowled too to copy Abby's expression.

Hearing his big sisters voice call out Stephen poked his head out from the branches on the tree. Grinning big he shouted over at her. "Ok Abby!" Looking down at Sparky he hopped down from the tree landing neatly next to the small electric pokemon. Jumping up into the air as he landed Stephen let out a loud cheer. "Haha! Are you ready for our adventure Sparky?"

The small Elekid gave a cheer to and with a determined look on his face he pointed to where there sister was standing. "Ele ele kid ele!" The plug on his head sparked somewhat as he spoke.

"Good idea Sparky! Lets have a race!" Laughing Stephen ran across the lawn his Elekid right behind him.
