Well at least YOU didnt hit me.
*she smiled and stroked Dae's hair gently, her other arm wrapping around Daegonna's waist, hugging her like a mother would a daughter*
Im sorry my dear... I had to. You must understand I would never have done it by choice. Only necessity.
*The 'crazy b***h' comment had her chuckling. Yes, she was definitely that. ANd as yet, none of those who knew she who she wa sonce more knew of the changes she had gone through. They would in time no doubt, and then the moniker would fit even better. Soothing the girl, Roan knew her next challenge was going to be Corbin himself. With two at her back however, it was unlikely she;d have to deal with Abaddon today. As long as that didnt happen, thinsg would be ok.*

Daegonna laughed softly at Roan's comment that at least she hadn't hit her. She nuzzled the crook of Roan's neck, and sighed softly as Roan embraced her. It was rare that Daegonna was embraced in a way that was not a lover's touch. The motherly affection of it made it difficult for her to stop crying, but she did, eventually. "Who else have you talked to?" She asked. She was curious as to who knew, and who had hit Roan. "Oh please don't apologize Roan." She said. "You're gonna make me start bawling again." Roan said it had been out of necessity, and although she was curious as to what had made it so imperative to disappear, Daegonna didn't push it. Roan had said she had to, and that was all Daegonna needed to know. Daegonna was just glad to have Roan back. She would pester her about the whys later.

Only a few others know. The Elder, Lhasa, who I guess is technically my master for now. I promised to learn from him. Plus, the Devil Roen Jaeger, Iden - he's outside, and... your brother. He wasnt very pleased to see me. Sorry.
*She'd probably spend the next fortnight straight apologising to people. But she was as glad to see Dae as Dae was to see her. She hugged her tight one last time, then let her go*
I think Ive messed Dagoth up badly. And thus... you. I truly apologise for that. For all I can probably TRY and fix Dagoth... I'm sorry I came between you two. If there is anything I can do...

Daegonna's brows rose. That Roan had a master was an interesting turn of events. She wasn't surprised about Roen, really, or Iden. When Roan confessed that Dagoth was pretty messed up, Daegonna sighed softly. She stepped back, and seated herself again. "He's confusing." She said simply. "He's set aside his passion to be responsible, and that fire and passion was what I had hoped most to count on..." She trailed off into silence, and ran a hand through her hair, combing the curls back again. "Roan, there's a lot between Dagoth and I. Most of it is time. We both have an appalling amount of guilt and grief, though, so really, you didn't do as much damage as you think." When Roan asked if there was anything she could do, Daegonna sighed, and leaned back, staring up at the ceiling and blinking back tears. "Just...Don't do that again. At least not in my lifetime. I know you think there was no way around it, but....damn."

Thre WILL come a day when I am no more Daegonna... all of you should be prepared for that. But I promise that at least when THAT time comes... you will be able to remember who I was. ANd prehaps even miss me.
*She smiled softly and sought another drink. To maintain the charade she was holding up all around herself, she was constantly hungry, rarely without a drink in her hand. *
I broke Dagoth's trust. That's all there is to it. I have a way to deal with him, but I do not know if I can undo what I did to him. I simply wish he knew how much I love him.

Daegonna knew Roan was right, but she probably wasn't going to live long enough to see Roan's years spent. She was half Human, so mortality was a part of the package. She took a sip of her own drink, and then set the cup down with a sigh. "I don't know what to tell you about Dag." She said with a shrug. "I don't understand him, in a lot of ways. While you were gone, I was kind of a loose cannon. I admit I wasn't helping Dag at all. I mean, sure I helped with the Sabbat and all, but it was just a way to channel my anger. He and I had a pretty big fight before I left, too. He's probably still pissed." She sighed. "As much as I try to be mature, I'm still a kid, and he reminded me of that. I didn't really appreciate it either." She ran a hand through her hair again. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked. She was curious about what Roan intended to do to set things straight with Dagoth.

I will be fank with you Daegonna. If he doesnt care, I will simply go back to square one. I loved each of them before they even accepted, let alone LIKED, me. When they hated me. If I must, I will hit him with a table all over again and drag his a** back to the dungeons. I dont WANT to do it, but he IS mine. And if he cannot feel, he is a tool and nothing more. I didnt raise him to be that. And you shouldnt aspire to be just a tool either. We shall see what happens. If necessary... prehaps I shall take a personal interest in your good self too.
*She didnt expain the comment, merely shrugged and downed the rest of her glass before again refilling it*
The best thing you can do to help me right now is be prepared for the storm. Next... I confront Corbin. And all that goes with him. I told you we must not be alone when it happens. I humbly ask that you and Iden be with me.

Daegonna listened thoughtfully. She didn't know much about the Embrace, or what had followed afterwards, but from her understanding, Roan had broken them, then carefully crafted a strange sort of Stockholme's in each of her boys, then coached them to love her back with every bit of their stilled hearts. Roan's words about Daegonna herself made the girl wary. For all that she loved and trusted Roan, she didn't understand her, and Roan's idea of what was good for the people she cared for didn't always mesh too well with Daegonna's ideas of what was best. She decided not to push Roan to find out what she meant. Asking would probably give her no answers. Instead, Daegonna moved her full attention to the task at hand. "Of course." She said. Roan didn't have to ask that Daegonna be there when she went to deal with Corbin. "It's what goes with Corbin that makes me nervous." She said. "What is this going to involve?" The sorceress was already checking each of the pouches to double check that she had all she might possibly need. Q'uarlynd had coiled around her wrist like a bracelet, and remained there, ready to blossom into any weapon she needed.

I shall simply lift the veil. As to what else he and I will have to discuss... that is between us and us alone. Do not ask me. I wont answer you. I do not know how he will react. If my absence changed him back to Corbin, instead of Midian... who knows what my reappearance will do. Let alone the manner in which I mean to see him.
Shall I take you to Iden now? And show you my ship in its true colours.

Daegonna simply nodded. She didn't like that she couldn't know what he and Roan were going to discuss, but she would not press the matter, only because Roan had told her not to. She was afraid of how Corbin would respond to this. She didn't know him well, but she rather doubted he'd skip up and hug Roan. So Daegonna left it at that and didn't pry, which was difficult for her to do. "Sure." She stood to follow Roan.

*ae woudl go through the same process of discovery as Iden, emerging onto the deck of the real Phoenix, the 19th century ship. That woudl explain a lto no doubt. She then turned around and opened the door they had just exitted through to reveal the captains cabin, and Iden inside*
She knows as well now Iden, so you wont be alone anymore. I hope you left her a drink or two... we're making better time than I expected. Get a few hours rest. We'll be there soon. Dae? Make sure you report in with Corbin regularly about intruders. I would like to keep him with my other self until we reach our destination.

Oh goody. Welcome to the love boat, mate.
He tipped a glass forwards, and swept his free arm across to the table with the drinks on it.
He looked...well, like a Sam Fisher knockoff. He was clad in his bodysuit, with his weapons all holstered and his tacgear rigged up and ready.
And leaning against the wall was the AM cannon, its ammunition, and the suitcase 'o doom, all just waiting for him to pick 'em up again.

Daegonna raised her brows. The vastly different size and shape of the ship answered some questions. It was damn lucky she'd hidden her body in an actually existing wall, rather than where there just appeared to be one. She stepped into the captain's quarters, and waved to Iden. "Hey. Did you save me some booze?" She asked, seating herself across from him. She was still keeping an eye on the 'hall' outside the room where Corbin and Mr. Crad were, in case anyone else should wander through. She reached out to Corbin, so he didn't wonder about her absence. Corbin, I directed the guy elsewhere, and so far, the coast is still clear. She said.

Aye, take your pick. I didn't touch any of the wines, you know me. Always the liquor man.
He gestured to the original cabinet where he'd procured his own healthy serving of booze, then took a hearty swig from his bottle.
So. Good to see you here. You look almost as out of place as I do on this rig.

Daegonna grabbed a bottle of wine, and poured herself a glass. At his comment, she grinned. He was right. Clad in black skinny jeans, a black leather jacket and a white tanktop, she looked like a biker's girlfriend. "I didn't really feel like I could keep wandering around in the guise of a little cat either." She said. She took a sip of the wine, but had already decided to only have one glass. She wanted to still be sharp, when the time came. She sighed and seated herself across from him. "Now it just remains to be seen what happens with Corbin...That's probably gonna be the worst of it all." Daegonna's face was still damp from tears, but she'd regained her composure, it seemed. "What do you think's gonna happen?' She asked. "I don't really know Corbin..."
