Lindis watched Lin, then set her doll slowly on the floor and held her hand up to her mouth and made a drinking motion.

"Feeding?" she asked, repeating the movement a few times tentatively.


The boy settled on the floor as if waiting for a story and propped his chin on his elbows, which he planted on Triton's knee. "Can you tell me 'bout it?" he asked with a cheeky grin.

The boy in Elrohir's arms looked up at Elrohir, who translated Cindy's words for him, then looked over at Cindy and nodded, holding his hand out to her again. He yawned and leaned his head against Elrohir's chest again and closed his eyes, his hand lowering slowly.


Haradhel nodded at Feng as the mermaid disappeared out the door again, then set about getting the girl into the warm, soapy water.

Lin nodded, "Feeding baby."

She 'feed' the baby some more, pretending she was giving the child some sort of yummy food. Though to Lin that was probably something sweet a baby shouldn't be having.
Triton chuckled, "Well that's a big family, it could take a while," he admitted, "But if that's what you want okay then."

Slowly Cindy dipped his hand into the water, letting him adjust to the feel before washing it carefully of the white muck that was suppose to be the cream. She wrinkled her nose, if the cream was made the way she knew she would have made her creams (the old fashion way with a bit of magic), then that was not healthy. Not to mention she didn't even know how good it might have been. Probably not that good she decided.

The boy in Elrohir's lap winced when his hand entered the water, but he relaxed as soon as he was used to the temperature. He didn't seem to notice too much when Cindy was cleaning his hand - but almost an entire layer of skin came off into the water, dead from being left for so long in the moisture of the cream.

The boy's eyes grew wide. "Real big?" he asked eagerly.

He had never heard of such a race before ... wouldn't it be nice to see one?

"Very big," Triton nodded, "They come down to her heels when she has them folded and she can wear it like a cloak.. .granted she's not that tall to begin with. Sometimes if she sheds feathers that are large enough they can be used for quills, she doesn't like to waste anything so feathers become stuffing for pillows or quills or something like that back home."

Though no one has tried to use angel feathers for fletching quite yet.

"Good," Cindy nodded as she finished putting on the cream and wrapping his hand in a softer, gentler bandage, "Poor guy, he's so tired. I don't know how his hand got like this, but keep an eye on it. If worse comes to worse get somone who can heal because it looks bad, but it might more likely be not bad and just because it's never been looked after properly."

Elrohir nodded. "Well, I'll take him up to bed then, let him get a decent sleep," he said, cradling the boy like an infant in his arms. "Who knows when was the last time he got a real night's sleep."

He sighed.

"Anyways, that just leaves the boy that Ryu has, so after I take this guy upstairs I'll help with finding clothes and giving baths and the like."

And he headed out and upstairs.

The boy grinned up at Triton. "That was a nice kitty," he said, "but I think Elwin likes her best of everybody." And he nodded over at the boy that was still cuddling Saki as if she were the most loved being in the world.


The boy in Ryu's arms looked up at him briefly before looking at Cindy. He blinked at her anxiously, wondering what he was supposed to do. But he had seen her working with the first three children, and he guessed that she was looking at their injuries, so he slowly climbed out of Ryu's arms, moving very gingerly and raised his arms.


There were only two other girls in the playroom: Lindis and one other that was sitting quietly in a corner and watching everything that was going on. She looked up at Feng as she came back into the room, and her eyes darted over towards the chest where she had seen Feng find clean clothes for the other girl, then back up at Feng.
