When the incident started, Strobe's first reaction was to bast the dude who dared to threaten his sister! Two things went wrong with that plan of action: A) He only had enough power to make his hands glow slightly, and B) Kioko wasn't his sister! It was this hesitation, and unfortunately awkward "Kamehameha" pose that meant the difference between the metal snakes in their foes arms latching onto someone or not. When Max cut to wires down, Strobe had smiled, believing him to have bought them some time. Apparently, this was not so.
Strobe pulled his gun, aiming straight for the head of whoever it was that held Kioko in his mental grasp. It was at that point that he realized he was powerless to stop whatever was happening to her. For all he knew, there were more snakes to stop his bullet and retaliate. He thought hard about the situation and his own vow to protect Kioko, even if it meant his own harm. He made his decision.
"You just need one of us, right? One will get you in with the lab for a long time. Why not take me inst--"
"Strobe, don't you dare turn yourself in." Came a voice. Slowly but surely, Angelo and Ventus faded into sight, sound and touch. "If you give up now," Said Angelo, eyebrow raised, "where does my redemption come in? Besides, I got a bone to pick with you, Vijay."

Crow shook his head slowly, more enemies by the minute, that meant that they had to divide their forces up to defend themselves. He figured Strobe was practically out of commission, leaving just him and Max that he knew of. Max couldn't use energy, so Ventus would be a real problem for him, but could he take Kioko and this kid alone? Violence was looking to be the only answer, but the safety of his friends was not something that was going to happen here. He simply kept himself prepared for when the action started, he could feel Max's energy signature, he wondered if Max was ready to fight. Crow stepped around Kioko towards Vijay, the rules of the game were set. If he needed all of them, he would receive none of them.

Crow wondered if this new Kioko was conscious of the fact that she was being controlled, if she would enforce the connection between Vijay and herself. Was she truly just a puppet now, or did some new consciousness make its way into her mind? He knew how to test it. "Rrrrg..." Crow seemed to growl as he allowed his aura of Ki to expand, it flared up into a massive azure inferno. His arms did not raise, he made no attempt to show hostility. Despite the fact that it was just excess external energy, there was simply so much of it that the wires connecting Kioko and the boy began to disintegrate rapidly, they would be gone in a few seconds. He stared straight back at Kioko, he was sure the aura would not harm her or her controller, all he wanted to see was if she would attempt to stop this.

Vijay on the other hand emitted his own ki energy, gripping it to his wires in protection of them. if he wouldnt, they would disentigrate soon enough, and the only other way to stop incomming Ki from another experiment was to block it with your own.
"no, there is nothing wrong here." Vijay scoffed

Kioko glared at him. she felt the aura and raised her own in reply. If anybody hurt her 'master' they would have to got through her first. Her raised ki blocked his incomming, her balled fists began glowing.
"back away now." she said, her voice sounded like hers, except it had more monotone and a robot sound voiced over so her own was barely hearable.

Vijay smirked. He stared at his wires. the last of the red liquid oozed into Kioko. He retreated his wires, saving up his own energy incase of anything going astray. Was the energy user really going to fight her? She had so much energy running through her veins right now and once its all gone, she's done for. That was the only downside of the serum. He stepped backwards seeing what was going to be the outcome of this. he scanned evrything, making sure that the Scientists were getting the most important information.

Kioko growled at Crow. her balled up hands turned downwards, palms facing the gound. in a split second, columns of earth raised from the ground in a very quick speed. She attempted to make crow back off. and no one was going to stop her.

Elizabith sidestepped Kikko to the boy that had spoken to her She tapped him on the shoulder-fully prepared to give him a face full of fist when he turned

Crow didn't waste a moment, Elizabith made the first real contact, apparently that's all it took to start the action. Rapidly he analyzed the circumstances, then threw his empty palm out towards Vijay. He shot a quick orb of Ki slightly to the side of Vijay's center of gravity, aligned just right. It's trajectory made it so that Kioko would not be able to intercept it in time in any form, especially not that of a bear. It was far and fast enough that Elizabith could not be thrown into it. Finally it made it so that Vijay would have to dodge it, or stop it in another fashion. Oddly, even after the speedy attack made its way towards the opponent Crow's hand remained open and extended.
