Jack stepped into the water and stood infront of Sun. He smiled and brushed his hand on her cheek, "Don't ever say you are sorry..." Jack knelt down in the water and kissed her hand. "I think that tonight we should sleep and in the morning we will see what happens..."

((okay, that got me teary eyed! I swear if we coauthored a fanfic with this kind of storyline, we would scare the crap out of half of fanfiction.net with the spawn of this RP... 3nodding ))
Sun gave Jack a watery smile as he wiped the tears away. Sun inhaled shakily and tried to steady her racing pulse. She nodded and stood up from where she sat on the small rock outcropping.
"I think you are a wise man, Jack. Goodnight," Sun said softly.
She gave Jack one last smile before turning and walking away. Once she reached her shelter, Sun collapsed onto a couple of airplane blankets and quickly fell asleep, ignoring the chill of the night air that ran along her spine. Without Jack there to keep her warm, Sun was brought back to reality. She quickly drifted off to sleep. The passion of earlier events had drained all of her energy. All Sun had to mull over in her sleep were the consequences. However, seeing the warmth and trust in Jack's eyes, Sun realized she didn't have to worry about consequences. Nothing was going to change between them. Sun smiled unconsciously in her sleep. Well, almost nothing...
((what is with me and writing in color? oh, well. In any case, that's my last post of the night, I'm going to go crash now. Major math exam tomorrow, sleep might be a good thing. I'll be online tomorrow afternoon and we can then see where this goes. See you, Kiyo! whee ))

Jack got out of the water and walked over when he slept. He sat there and thought about what just happened. Let my dreams guide me until the morning... He fell asleep with a smile.

{awwww, the sun&jack thing is really nice..so cute^^} myself Claire opened her eyes slowly and looked around her. It was still night but she didn't feel tired anymore. Boone, Leslie and her were laying on two blanckets placed over the sand. Claire looked at Boone and smiled. He looked so cute when he was sleeping.

((Hello fellow RPers, I'm back! You gotta love the enthusiasm here! If anyone needs Sun, I'm going to wake her up now.))
Sun woke up to the sound of leaves rustling in the trees and birds chirping, welcoming another day. She felt the warm sun on her face and she blinked the brightness out of her eyes as she sat up and looked around. Sun smiled and stretched luxuriously, her neck no longer stiff after Jack's gentle massage the night before. Jack. Sun suddenly remembered their encounter and Jack's words.
"I think that tonight we should sleep and in the morning we will see what happens..." He had said. "Never say you are sorry."
Sun remembered the kindness reflected in Jack's eyes as he said the words. Still, she felt uneasy. What was he going to think? Sun decided to give Jack some space for the day. That is, unless he came to her first. She didn't know what to say in his presence. Sun swallowed her pride along with the ball of nervousness building somewhere near her solar plexus and decided to try and move on like nothing had transpired. She decided to go see how Shannon was doing...
((if anyone needs Sun, you can find her anywhere from the garden to the beach. She's somewhere on the path headed for the ocean... yes. Gotta love shock-tasticness!))

Claire woke up once more. It was now morning. She smiled to herself and sat up. She had never been so relaxed before. She stayed quiet and watched the waves come and go.
Her blond hair was hanging on her shoulders and the black top she was wearing was obviously to big for her small frame. But Claire didn't care much, she didn't really care about what she looked like for the moment.

Sun walked down the path from the garden to the beach. She reached the shoreline and walked along, the sand still cool from the nighttime at her feet. She looked around the beach and noticed Claire sitting beside a sleeping Boone and baby Leslie. She smiled as she walked over.
"Good morning, Claire. How are you?" Sun asked.
She stopped by the trio and knelt down beside Claire.

"I'm quite fine and relaxed. How are you?"
She crossed her legs in the 'indian' style and crossed her arms over her legs.

Claire smiled and looked over to the sleeping two.
"Yeah, I love this place. It's just so quiet and so beautifull. And to have two people that I love with me makes it all so good"
She sighed happily and looked over to Sun. She noticed something seemed to bother her.
"Is everything alright?"

Sun was snapped out of her reverie by Claire's question.
"I'm fine, just thinking," Sun replied.
She was still thinking about Jack. About her inhibitions. About how much of a coward she was being now. She could feel Claire's gaze burning into her.
"I was just thinking about this, the island. I was thinking about the possibility of one day being rescued. I do not know whether I could go back to living a normal life now and I'm afraid, but I do not want to be. Where our actions do not, our fears do make us traitors..." Sun trailed off.
She stared out at the ocean, hoping to find comfort in their depths.
((that traitors line is what I get for reading too much Shakespeare...))

((no problem! I know what that's like. I'm still celebrating the fact that I've finally finished my major bio project.))
Sun nodded in reply. She knew that everything would be alright, too. It was still hard not to be afraid. Sun stood up and brushed the sand off of her knees.
"I am going to go walk along the beach for a little while. I will see you later," Sun said lightly.
She waved at Claire as she turned and walked away. Sun didn't know where she was headed, but she didn't care. She just needed some time to think.
((I'm still around, just wandering. If you need anything from Sun, just chase her down LOL))

{Alright lol! Oh damn! BIO project! Shoots! I had forgotten about mine stressed }
Claire smiled and watched her go. She really wanted to know what was bothering Sun, but she would wait till Sun was actually ready to tell her. She knew what it was like to have something on your mind but not being able to tell anybody.
She sighed looked out towards the ocean.
"So pretty.."
She said as she looked out to the horizon.
Claire sighed happily once more and layed back down. She rested her head on Boone's chest and moved Leslie in her own arms. She brought up the blanckets over them and closed her eyes. This was so perfect to her right now. It was like al ittle family, kind of.

The waves reminded Sun of Jack. They were strong, powerful, mysterious, but also gentle. Sun couldn't stop thinking about what had transpired between her and Jack the night before. She knew that it wouldn't be right to run from her thoughts, to run from Jack, but she had to admit the option was tempting. Sun walked sort of aimlessly along the beach. She decided to drop in and see how Shannon was doing. Sun turned around and walked towards where she knew Shannon would be. She found the woman still asleep, tossing fitfully as if from a nightmare. Sun decided to let her sleep, she obviously needed it. She would come back to see Shannon later. Instead, Sun turned and walked down the beach again. She took off her sandals and carried them, feeling the wet sand cool against her skin. The physical feelings overrode her emotions, if only just for a little while...
