It wasn't supposed to be a joke. And Teddo:
Everything's under control, sir. Tight as a drum.
My only problem is making my way to that locale.
Raji seems like a friendly gal. I'm quite amused by the scenario.

About that, do you think you could requisition us a chopper? Or maybe an osprey. An APC would work, but more difficult using that when you're on an island. The bandit issue might be more worrisome than the zombies, I think. A few .50 cal machine gun nests should do it. Straken, you'll want to turn one of those 'storm shelters' into a 'fallout shelter.' Angry bandits with artillery can be a real b***h. We'll definitely need a sonar grid to detect submerged zombies, by the way. Or something to the effect of keeping the water safe.
Yes, Raji is quite perky. Also, BB... considering the fact that a hand-dug tunnel can be built at a rate of approximately 3 meters per day, and the relative air-speed velocity of a pigeon, I suggest constructing a tunnel going directly from your basement to the bank vault Wisconsin. Using conventional means, you could even install a transportation track as a means of more efficiently getting your stockpile to the base; an 'underground railroad,' if you will.
Also, Straken, from what I can tell on wikipedia, the island doesn't sound like the most strongholdly of places.

CadetNewb Who's in the med bay right now? Things are indeed getting interesting; but still, who hadn't left the med bay? Cibo's gotta get a check up, as per rehab....and I'd rather her not be lonely. If not....

The only problem with those vehicles is fuel, which is always a b***h in times of Apocrypha. Sure, I can stock it, but then becomes keeping it safe and clean and maintained; SUPER b***h right there. Regardless, I agree that we would need something. Helicopter would be much easier to get my hands on, (due to the fact that ALL ospreys and APCs are military/government vehicles) so if anything, that's what we'd have. .50-caliber nests I'm hesitant to supply because they'd just be asking for a rifle shot to the face.
The tunnel would be more trouble than it's worth because I'd have to account for pre-laid wiring, sewer systems, etc., which would require going around and/or somehow devising a path through. Premium plan would be to become a pilot, stock that s**t with fuel, and fly my a** to the zone.

Chibi, your Plan Z is made of fail, because you expect me to be your doctor.
My doctorship consists of cutting you open to see what color your food is once it's in your stomach.
Choose someone different, I'll kill zombies.

I would love to help by skimming over my copy of Gray's Anatomy, but I am to busy studying topographical maps of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Canada. So I can lend it to Blackbird instead

... How did our OOC thread turn to zombie apocalypse? I'm away for one weekend and this happens =P
Anyway, sorry for my lack of postage, all my time, effort, and consideration has been divided between really really long joint posts on another roleplaying forum (I somehow managed to become the main charatcer) And actually doing my homework for school.
I promise, I'll try to do something soon, maybe.

lol. No, BB I want to be very focused on things that go boom. And choppers. And .50 cal nests that are pillboxes with bulletproof glass.
Of course, I've always preferred the strategy of capturing an oil rig and living off the sea and (if we develop the skills required) a very large quantity of crude oil.
EDIT: Kai, your words do not comfort me.

Hey Kai, about the "Gurotte" carbine you made; it's going to be really hard/ uncomfortable to shoot. Since the iron sights are so close to the body, human's (and most other species) can't look down them. The Germans ran into the same problem when they made the FG42; since you want a cheap and easy to make weapon, you might consider adopting those iron sights too!
