Cherry smiled and gracefully let her broom ease to the ground. She then hopped off. She leaned her broom against the wall. "It will be in my room soon. It somehow knows that if it isn't in my hand it's supposed to be in its case. Pretty cool broom I think." Cherry said. Then realized she was rambling a little. Then she looked down at the grass and then back at Cam. "So what did you want to talk to me about?".

"Anything, really. We kinda got interrupted back in the Common Room." Cam said, motioning for her to follow him as he started on a walk of the grounds. "Well, here's a conversation starter...for the daughter of Voldemort, you're not that bad of a person." he said, looking over his shoulder at her. "But I'm wondering...how many people other than me know? And about the mark?"

Cherry looked down at her wrist for a moment. "The only other person who knows is Draco. He's practically a big brother to me. We carry the same struggle and emotional burden because we've had nothing but dark magic forced down our throats our whole lives." she said. "It's so easy to be everything Voldemort isn't. But sometimes, I get scared or weak and i almost give in to this almost suffocating black ink I feel like is pumping through my veins." she said.

"What do you mean by that?" Cam asked, looking over at and slowing down so that he was walking directly beside her. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to have the world's most hated wizard as your father, one that murdered so many people. But despite that, Cherry seemed so...normal.

"I don't know..." she said rolling her eyes. "It's like I feel my chest tighten and this pain deep in my stomach and heart and it feels like if I don't do something horrible and dark the pain will never go away. Fortunately I never give in and in a little while the pain stops." she said with a smile. "I must be the most complicated person in the world. I don't even know how I feel about my Father. You know?" she asked Cam with a frown on her face.

"I understand the first part, actually." Cam said, nodding in understanding. Must be pretty hard on her. "As for how you should feel about your father...that's kind of complicated. He's a sadistic murderer, yeah...but he IS your dad." he pointed out. "I'd be about as confused as you in that situation."

She kind of laughed. "I know how horrible he is. He killed my mother right in front of me. But, he was once pretty okay. Just too powerful for his own good right?" she looked at him lifting an eyebrow. "I guess now my Grandfather Albert is gone, I feel so alone. And that's when the dark pain started coming back." she looked at the stars a moment confused. She continued to look up as she said, "He chose to act on the dark inside of him." Then she turned to Cam, "but even if it kills me I will always act on the good." then she grinned a little. She liked to seem as happy as possible. Because she didn't want anyone feeling sorry for her or comparing her to her father.

"Good, good. I would hate to see you on their side." Cam said, thinking back on what she said. Her mother, murdered in front of her. Apparently, Voldemort really was THAT bad. "Well, you should stick with the new DA then...because we're going to do everything in our power to make sure he loses...at least I will. I hate seeing people suffer...especially feeling a pain like the one you feel, for little reason other than a simple...well, it's a tattoo, really." he said, looking forward again in the direction he'd been walking.

Cherry smiled and said, "Even though he's my father, I know he has to die. I'm not that naive. But the pain doesn't just come from the Dark Mark. It comes from somewhere else. I don't know. It's real strange." Cherry said. "Anyways you promise you won't tell anyone about my animangus. I don't know what happens to unregistered ones but I definently do not want to find out." she said. Then she looked at Cam with a smile. She tried to play happy alot, but deep down all of thus made her really sad, and mostly confused.

"You've got my word." Cam said with a smile, looking at her. He wouldn't dare tell anyone about any of her secrets, seeing as all of them could get her into quite a bit of trouble. "I have another question...kinda strange...but is your name actually Cherry?" he asked, grinning but not in a mocking way. He was truly curious as to if it was a nickname or not.

She smiled at him happily. "Yes, Cherry is my real name. My mother picked it. She got it from a Muggle magazine and said it sounded like the sweetest and prettiest thing she could think of." she said. "I know its sily."

Cam laughed, shaking his head. "Nah...well, a little. But it's cool. Really unique." he said. "I thought it was a nickname or something, but it's actually your name. Cool." he added, looking forward again. After a moment of silence, he looked over. "What about you? Anything you'd like to talk about?"

Cherry laughed with him. "Gosh you're so... nice. I like talking to you. I feel like I could talk to you about anything and everything. Thanks for being understanding and not freaking out about the whole 'Voldemort's daughter thing'." she said looking at him. "So are you an only child? Or do you have any pets? Do you sing or play guitar, or write books? oh! What's your favorite books? Do you like astronomy? I think its severely underrated by most students because I really enjoy it." Cherry said beginning to ramble and ask too many questions at once. She really loved to talk and she really wanted to get to know Cam but whenever she got nervous things came out in a rush.

"Slow down." Cam said, laughing. "In order of what you said...you're welcome. I don't like to judge people before I get to know them. I'm sure you get people freaking out all the time." he began, looking over at her. "Only child. I have a dog, red Australian Shepard named Dingo. I play guitar and write, actually. My favourite book is a Muggle one, called the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. As for Astronomy...yeah." he said, slower than when she had asked the questions. "It's a bit rough on the whole sleep schedule thing, but I still find it cool. I don't see the point to it all, but I like looking into space. Kinda strange that we're stuck down here though...never known a wizard that flew up there, yet Muggles do it all the time." he said, motioning to the castle when he said the word "We're".

Cherry furrowed her brow and looked up at the castle. "You have a really good point. I would love to fly that high. I used to always have this idea of being like a cheerleader for Quidditch. And like, all the girl do cheers and flips from their brooms and stuff. But anyways... Sorry about all the questions. I've never known anyone who was able to keep up with me. When I get nervous I tend to ramble and say things I shouldn't say." CHerry said. Then giggled.
